I wasn't sure which sub forum would be the optimal one to share this story, so I thought I would post it here. I think you all will get a good laugh out of it.

So, I met this sex worker almost a decade ago. I would visit her every time I was in her area. After several occasions, she and I develop a rapport. We continue seeing each other, but shortly after Covid hits she sends me a message stating she is getting out of the business for good.

However, I'm still about to keep in touch with her by a quasi social media type platform. A couple of years after her retirement, she finally agrees to see me again. So we plop down on the bed and go at it, but I notice that the quality of service is not as good. Not to say that it was horrible, just not as good as it was in the past. After we have our fun, she talks to me about the issues with her family, reveals she is not dating anyone, and says I may continue to see her if I like. Well, just my luck that within weeks of she and I "reuniting" , I decide to give one more go at seeing a sex worker outside the USA. That's when I very quickly realize that prostitution in the USA tends to be a massive rip off.

So, between the diminished service and "USA pricing" I decide not to schedule any further appointments. But, she and I stay in touch on the messaging platform, as it were. Sometimes I would ask her if she wants to go out for holiday events, etc. But she would never agree, at least not within compensation, which I refused to provide. No honey, no money. So, here's where it gets interesting.

As I am sure you all know, given the season, there's all sorts of Halloween events going on. An example would be the 17th Door in California. Anyway. I do a google search, find the site, and sure enough, the domain has been registered for ages to a very legit organization.

She's on there, and she's in the top 10 of people left. They are going down the final elimination round, and whoever wins first place gets a prize of over $10,000 - among other things. Now before she sends me this message, over the summer she tells me she has been struggling financially. Here's your climax: with this contest, the public gets to send in votes for who has designed the best Halloween set. Each person gets a single vote for free, but you can also buy votes with money, just like a raffle. So where do you think this is going?

Of course, she asks me to vote on her behalf. Obviously so she can win first place and collect the prize money. She never tells me that, but I read over the contest rules, and everything is crystal clear to me. So, I ask her if she knows how many votes she needs to beat the other contestants and win first place. She and I communicate for a bit, and I eventually make her an offer. I see how much it would cost me in cash to purchase all the votes, and I ask her if she wants to trade the votes for a romp. Not only does she decline, but she deletes records of all our previous messages. Jajaja! In all the years I've known her, she has never done something like that. Maybe she was paranoid that the sponsors of the contest would somehow find the messages, but there's absolutely no reason that should happen.

Now we know from the voting numbers that there's no way she can win 1st place, it's too late. Think of this: between the time I first met her and now, several years have gone by. While she's aged better than most women, she's not as thin as she used to be. So, let's do the math. She and I used to get it on for a few hundred dollars for 1 hour. And not but a few months ago she told me she was struggling financially. Yet, rather than spending an hour with me, she's willing to give up over $10,000. And that's considering I used to get special treatment, and I'm the only guy she's seen since retiring after Covid. If that's not loyalty, then I'm not sure what is. But hey, to each her own.
