Anyone try the local papers for "massage" services? La Prensa for example?
Incidentally, I found this interesting site while checking it out.

I did check it out, first time Ive heard about them and notice that they dont even show directions in the website. Now for prices listed, they are absurd!! $100 30 mins!! for a $100 I could get an all nighter with a pretty decent girl!!

3. Panama
I'll be in Panama City right after Rio's carnival next month. I've been to Mardi Gras and Trinidad's carnival. PC has to be special to be better than Port of Spain's. I can imagine that Venice is pretty cool too.

3. Panama
If you are interested in Carnival Caribbean style then nothing really beats Rio and Trinidad both in terms of athmosphere and the acessability , intensity and organisation of the parties leading up to the two big days.
The added benefit of playing in costumes, and the multitude of women far surpasses any other. If you want to do some mongering however then Trinidad isnt that great during carnival time, its not that its non existant its just that it is strictly non pro, probably Panama and of course Rio would then be the better bet.
Experiencing Real carnival in terms of color, bacchanalia and the spectacle once a year aspect would make rio and trinidad the best with rio having the better pro/semi pro scene and trinidad having the most accessable non pro scene at that time.
Does anyone have the definitive faq info about the panama "push buttons"
Is it safe?
Which do you recommend?
Whats it like in a push button?
How does the whole in/out routine work?
If travelling by cab how do you get one after the deed is done?
Whats the cost?
Thank you in advance.
The panama push button phenomenon is too interesting to not visit or experience while in panama I do hope some of the forums MEMs (Most experienced mongers) would enlighten us ignorant folk.
Is it safe? Yes they are.
Which do you recommend? The best one is Royal Gardens locate in las Cumbres. Other good ones are: Puerta del Sol (transistminca), Secretos (corredor sur)
Whats it like in a push button? bed, tv, bathroom.
How does the whole in/out routine work? you park your car, push the bottom (hence the name) to close the main front door, you put your $$$ in the hole to pay for the room, they collect, open the room door, you get in and do you stuff, you call them by phone (press 0 or just pick up the phone) to tell them to open the front door, you get into your car, wait for the door to open and get out.
If travelling by cab how do you get one after the deed is done? the cab driver will wait for you, this requires a tip...
Whats the cost? range of $10 to $25 for 2 hrs

OK, I don't know squat about the Panama scene. What's a "Push Button" place?
The explanation didn't help much. I did a search, but nothing came up.
Now I'm curious. Is it like a glory hole, or.......?
Haha, Glory hole -- that's a good one Archie. It's a love motel where they rent rooms by the hour. The rooms are connected to garages, so you drive your car into any open garage, push the button to close the garage door, etc. -- see Pty Seminole's description. The largest collection would be on Transistmica, very close to the intersection with Tumba Muerto, and are fairly convenient (maybe 10 minutes) to Golden Time.
Sato San, if you've got your own car, I think they're very safe, provided your date doesn't knock you in the head. In a taxi -- well, depends on whether you trust your driver. Your other questions were covered well by Seminole. Don't worry about what to do when you get there -- if you go with a hooker she'll know exactly what to do. And if you go by yourself you'll figure it out pretty quickly. (Is there anybody here besides me that likes to go to these places alone and whack off?)
A question for anyone -- do you know any love motel convenient to downtown (Habano's, La Bodeguita, etc.)?

Los Arcos is very convient. It's located a block away from Via Espaņa, 5 minutes from La Bodegita / Habanos. All taxi drivers know the place, it's not a push bottom per se, it's a legit motel, very clean and cheap ($12 for 2 hours, $22 for the whole night).

Thanks Seminole. Sounds like a better deal than Hotel Montreal, which I had been using.
Based on a poll, your number one pick looks like it's the most popular in the whole country, if you include "Royal Garden Suites -- con todo" and "Definitivo Royal Garden Suites". Also some interesting comments at the bottom of the web page:

Mongers,
help me out. I am trying to make a go or no go decision on Panama. Here is my situation. I will be in Central America for 3 weeks, begining and ending with Costa Rica. I want to travel with my girlfriend and her son of 6 years old. We have the option of staying free in a residential home in Villa Lucre, Lac Quintas, I think that is in San Miguelito. I have some built in house and child sitters, so some free nights on the town with my girlfriend is possible any night.
For those who have been to Panama, is there enough to do, enough to see, if you are staying in a residential area. Of for those who have been to Costa Ricas coastal communities, would you just as soon stay there and visit a nice beach town. Thoughts.

Guys like Pty seminole and meatloaf have been great in helping me acquire info on the panama city scene.
I would like to know if any "gringos" can tell me where I can find sex shops in panama city where you can buy sex toys like vibrators and so on.
Also has anyone been to the pacific side beaches close to panama city and can recommend a place to stay with a chica?
Any experiences with travelling to the Bocas del Toro?
Is it really cheap?
Will you have problems travelling with chicas on internal flights, such as being hassled by customs?
...Panama mongering not being that great. All the hookers are from Colombia quoting $100 or more, so it's just best to go to Colombia. Go right to the source.
Go right to the source. I hear this all the time. While at first this seems to be sage advice I figured out on my own I have come to find out that the best providers actually don't work in Colombia. They go to other countries loaded with tourists in central Am and the Caribbean and the really good ones spring for the visa to US and Spain, since they can get $300+ in the large cities there.
I met some really awesome Colombian providers on many trips to the Caribbean ($40-$100USD per session, more in CR) and they don't work in Colombia when they are home. They say it is becuase of family, religion and that they don't want a reputation in their cities. Yeah when they are in Costa Rica for 3 months god and their families don't know?! Right.
Believe me they don't work in Colombia because they make so much money abroad. And maybe the reputation thing.
I used to frequent Colombia a good deal but things have gone down hill and truly the best providers are working abroad for 3 months at a time with 2 month breaks here and there (especially Christmas, Easter). JMHO
