I am a regular in both clubs. One word of caution, you receive a card on entry and then run up a tab. Be smart and keep a track of how many drinks you have bought or you may be in for a surprise when it comes time to leave. Particularly in La Dolce Vita I have seen gringos arguing about the bill claiming that they didn't drink that much. My tip is get known over several nights to the staff there, tip your favourite waiter and the doorman and don't get so drunk that you can't remember how many drinks you have had. For late night fun DV and Kalabria are great options.

Anyone uses Prep. I plan to come to Brazil for the first time. I will be outside my country for the first time. I plan to have sex with girls condomless. How effective is Prep? When do I have to start?

Dude told me it was 50 to go in. Before I paid, I asked for a menu to see how much caipirinhas were. 25. I said fuck that. For 50 reais entrada they used to give you a ticket for 1 national drink, this time I had to ask for it and he gave it to me. Johnny walker black on the rocks 95 reais ouch. Usually I just get my free drink find a girl and leave. I don't advise you not to use it. You won't be protected from other sexual diseases. Prep is very bad for your body. Especially your kidney and liver. It was used in the past by HIV positive people. Most of them suffered from severe side effects. Prep is not fully studied in HIV negative people.

But if it helps any, I recently withdrew 1000 reais from Bradesco and $265.87 came out the other end. That is 3.76 reais to the USD to save you some math.
