But it was just too damn loud for both me and the girl I was with. Maybe because there weren't all that many people there (even at 1 AM). Maybe the noise was reverberating through the club making it seem louder than other clubs??

We didn't even stay for a drink and ended up just going to Ibar. It was crowded but we still managed to carve enough space out to have a good time. And it is always informative to watch the scene there and take note for future times when you come alone and are on the hunt.

Another good one for the same purpose, but with far less eye candy, is Red Car. Drinks are cheaper and there's plenty of space if you just want to "dance with the one that brung ya".

Refusals are out of question but the quality is deluding. I still get in as a kind of mandatory routine, but I think I'll skip it from now on.

Red Car is certainly not my first choice for the hunt. But it's not a bad place when you have already scored your girl and are just looking for a place to dance / chill with her. Especially on those nights when Ibar / Insomnia are packed to the rafters.

And RC can offer pleasant surprises from time to time. Perhaps my favorite girl form last trip was a girl I met at Ibar. She was a little older than I usually like (30) but she was still pretty damn hot and an absolute firecracker in bed. So even when you are on the hunt it is worth stopping in for a quick look on your way to Ibar.

[/QUOTE]Yes, The Pier is louder than its counterparts in Pattaya. It more resembles a real night club. You bring up a good point about it being more difficult to communicate with your girl. One of my Thai girls who I barely understand when there's no loud music around got mad at me at The Pier because I didn't understand a single thing she said.

1. IMO, the 3- way Ibar / Insomnia / New York Diner combo was a great overall experience for partying, dancing and hanging out / watching a very diverse bunch of people (well men from NA, Europe, Russia, and some Japanese). Each acts and behaves differently, not surprisingly. Good DJ's, nice pool hall atmosphere in one section below at Ibar. The food at NY diner is pretty darn good , at decent prices with service all night long through at least 8 am, with a water view !!

2. The girls were generally all pretty fun and congenial. The paid dancers at Insomnia were really not that good, IMO. But it definitely gets those middle eastern, and Eastern European/ Turkish men going.

3. I recommend anyone who expects to go to dance places like this in Pattaya, versus gogos and beer bars, to buy their VIP card for 500 baht. You get 20 PC off on all drinks (which paid for the tips that in turn got me great service from the bar boys). I paid 500 be, saved about 3000 baht (at least) and got about 1,500 of rewards money to use at their NY diner. So, I invested 500 be and saved / gained 4500 baht, a 9-1 return. BTW, you don't get any discounts on the shots and syringe shooters that are carried around on a mobile basis, as they are impulse buys, and IMO not worth the money. I bought quite a few of them for the girls, but never really had any interest in them myself.

4. A very significant number of the younger good looking girls have an international sponsor, and they are live feeding via WIFI a video streaming every night! LOL. These girls have it made. The sponsors are dumb m-fckers IMO. I avoided these girls totally. So, that left many of the less attractive ones, making my task harder.

5. Before 1 pm, quite of few older, less attractive office and shop or other job girls, party together with their friends. As Mr. ENT has noted avoid these girls and any in groups of 4 or more.

6. The best choices IMO are the ones hanging around on the far side by the upstairs restrooms at Insomnia, and some of the shy, solo girls (maybe beach RD quality) tend to hang out just below the DJ booth.

7. Many are occupied with bottle and table groups of guys and again leaving a depleted field from which to choose.

8. The better looking girls know this, and they know once the guys are really liquored up they are easy pickings, particularly if they are a new face that just showed up. As a matter of fact a whole crop of girls from the other bars show up right after 3 am, and I find that the best time to strike is between 430-6 am, if you can hold out that long.

9. 1000-1500ST, and 1500-2500 LT should be the max, based on the girls attractiveness. , age, dress, and your age, attractiveness, and how you dress. If they are younger and hotter, and you are older, fatter, and poorly dressed, can't dance, look and act geeky / nerdy, you will find that you will probably have to pay on the max end of the above ranges, if you want to seal a deal and leave before 3 am.

10. Smoking was a big issue for me, since their AC system just pushes in cold air but has no return to suction up and continuously clean the air quality and filter out the smoke and pollutants. Throw in people from diverse countries of origin and the local viruses and bacteria they bring with them, and it will affect your sinus and respiration system. Many regular girls who come there use little camphor inhaler sticks or tubes. I think the staff who work there and girls who are pretty much there everyday are in for some tough times after 5-10 years of that air quality. For me, this was unfortunately a price that I had to pay, because I liked the ambiance, music and everything else, and was unable to find better alternatives that I liked on WS. Particularly since I had zero interest in Gogo girls, bar girls in the numbered sois or daily pros.

I'd rather a girl who is genuine and soft spoken, who radiates warmth, affection and a caressing attitude. Because I want to express and return the same spirit from within me. I'm not looking for an exclusive but just an open heart while together.

And, speaking of that, walked by the massage place with the girl from the other day....and set up for a 8 pm oil Masaage in my room with her again. This time it was different! I had not paid anything ahead of time to the house. She arrived at 8:03 with a knock on the door.

Started out with me on my back and after that was done for about 30 minutes, I was so surprised how easily she gave up the whole massage thingy once she got me on the front for massage work. And, within minutes we were at it again and it was soooo good! I would just add that, at least IMHO, Ibar / Insomnia can vary from night to night, depending on the night of the week, season, and other factors.

Though my sample is relatively small and scattered around different trips I think it has consistently bene the most fun (least crowded and most available hot girls) during my August trips.

It's also a little crowded for me on the weekends and too dead on Sundays. I though Thursday was really the best night of the week to go there.

One last point that is hard to generalize, but I have also come to expect the unexpected at Ibar / Insomnia. And I mean this in a good way. Just as you are about to give up hope something good will happen when you least expect it. Whether being propositioned for a 3 some by 2 hot chicks out of the blue (that turned out fabulously) or meeting a superhot 20 year old girl built like Jessica Rabbit by the upstairs bathrooms (where the Hard Core FLs congregate), good thing seem to happen to me if I just persevere and stick with it.

Last week Tuesday was best. This week Tuesday was poor, but last night was good. And, my sample size is small and based on just one trip. So, surely your larger sample, to include monthly seasonality experience inventory trumps my limited one time only, May experience inventory.

I encountered a new term today while on social media with a Thai girl. She said she is NBF. I was caught unawares as I had no clue what that meant. But I did not want to display my ignorance so I kept silent.

Well, Im done now with my Patts adventures, for this trip. Will call it an early night, wake up fresh with a full nights sleep and rest, and head out to BKK tomorrow. Doubt there is any chance I'll be back before 2017 as I have Hawaii, DR, Thanksgiving and Christmas/ NY year trips already pretty much set for the remainder of this year.
