you've stumbled onto an interesting phenomenon that exists at the anggrek panti pijat and possibly at a few other spots in the kota part of jakarta, namely that legal-age girls (18 and older) are being presented by the mamasan as **** (i.e. 16 or 17) under the assumption that this makes the girl more attractive/enticing to the customer.

i know two girls who worked there, both 19, who separately informed me of this "trick."

not a surprise that you were the first bule customer for that particular girl, many of these hole-in-the-wall mps do not get a lot of bule customers, and since there's at least 30 girls working there and relatively rapid turnover, the odds are pretty good that you would be their first bule, especially as you apparently refused the mamasan's suggested girl and made your own choice.

also, some of the teen girls who have just arrived from the countryside are genuinelly shy and afraid to be with a foreigner. many mps (such as mala at sari ayu in pangjay, silvi at unique spa) have a "designated" girl (or girls) who handles the bule customers. the mamsans know which girls are most interested and comfortable with bules (and who would provide a high level of service) and will always steer the bule customer towards one of those girls. that's why we bules often seem to end up with the same girl who's been reported on before here.

Being a long time lurker with only a few posts I figured it was time to share. First time to Marioboro spa (which I will not post the details about this place as there are already many reports on this place), tried Henny #388 which provided excellent service. She might be a little chunky in the middle for some tastes but she had natural firm tits and provided excellent service. Was in Tiga Puluh last week and it's totally dead. Wonder what happened? That's 11plus. So went over to the newly renovated CJ and it's packed. But the new decor give me headache.

I think 30 Bar has never recovered from the renovation they did about 2 years ago, it really is not worth going there at any time now unless you are staying in Meridien and hence don't have to pay to get in. It's annoying because it used to be a very good fall back; more often than not you could "score" in there which was great, certainly for me as a regular patron of the Meridien. I think it's just too old: too many new places have openned since 30 Bar openned years ago.

Your other story is interesting and unfortunate for your friend but I would say he was a little bit careless because when you go out "clubbing" or anywhere slightly risky in Jakarta it's best to take nothing of value other than the cash you need for the night. You don't need a passport, a copy would do including a copy of the visa on entry page. I don't usually take credit cards as I avoid using them - certainly in nightclubs where I had one cloned around 10 years ago. Also, I don't take anything which links my hotel room key to the room I'm in! A fake watch is a good idea too; walking around some places with 20 years or more income visible on your wrist is not a good idea. As for transferring money to a bank account and expecting a passport in return: no disrespects but I think he was still suffering from whatever he'd been given the night before...

1 month ago I was invited by a couple of friends at a lebanese restaurant at Le Meridien Hotel.

As soon as we entered in the lobby of the hotel, although my friend as with his wife, we were warmly welcomed by the smiles of 2 ladies who were probably in their late 40s if not more. And one of them was really more than fat. On our way back after the dinner they were still there and I notice 2 or 3 other oldies ready for action. I think they were waiting for the 30 to open its doors.

Is this place particularly known for its old chicks?

Didn't know that there were more clubs in PS than X2. X2 is very classy, interesting, full of hot girls but they are non ayam, and getting anywhere will require serious depth of pockets (note the carpark full of BMWs and Mercedes outside this place). No obvious ones on the game.

Red Square seems to be the place that's rocking, both from the ayam and non ayam points of view. Either way, I'll be able to give an update soon, real soon ;)

Although I read previous reports on Tropical Spa I still don't know how to go there. I just understand it's not far from Ciputra mall/hotel.

What should I exactly tell the taxi driver, supposing he doesn't know about this place?

Heard that X2 capacity was 2500 - 3000 pax and was filled to the walls on weekends. Difficult to maintain it as a "best kept secret" for ourselves. ;)

Anyway you're right. With game, self confidence and cultural awareness, scoring in JKT glam clubs is not that hard. Unlike their western counterparts, indonesian elite girls are often quite approachable, and the key to success with most of them is personality and not bankroll. I admit I have met a few gems in this target category. Retro in its heydays (late 90s to 2002), Zanzibar, Musro or Prego during the same period, or more recently Centro, Embassy, Manna Lounge, Cina Bar or Dragonfly have always been very favorable hunting grounds for me.

Mid-level range spots were also good options. In Kemang I've often met hot middle-class girls hungry for adventure or bule boyfriends and even gotten a BJ on different occasions without having to leave the parking lot.

I truly miss the indo flavor. Gotta leave the East Europe dyevs for a while and go back to JKT.

It is interesting what you say about scoring in high end clubs. It also applies to high end shopping malls but when you say it is "personality not bankroll" I think that is only partly true. It is certainly not about handing over 300k (or maybe even 3 juta) there and then but the kind of girl you are talking about would certainly not be interested in "bule biasa" regardless of personality. I have met this kind of girl (and posted stories in here) but you finish up paying in the end one way or another if you stick around for long.
