Almost all the guesthouses in and around mount Lavinia hotel on all the by-roads are short time friendly. Go into the reception and ask for room for " short time". They will know exactly what you need. Prices range from about Rs 1200 - 2500. You can always have a look at the room before you pay. This area is safe for this sort of thing.

This place has a mix of thai and locals. Thai is available for 4 k and locals fro 1. 5 k. Common bathrooms. Thai girls look ok with a decent massage. Locals I didn't take.
