There is in wotif a secret deal at the price of 1200B (in November).
The 4 star hotel is located in Sukhumvit soi 8.
Is it about Citadines apart hotel?
Yep. Citidines Soi 8. Very decent price. No free brkfst/Inet.
Barko, thanks you so much for that list of hotels, I am headed to BKK for 3 or 4 days in November and the price on the FuramaXclusive looks fantastic.
Can you give an idea of what the place is like? Worth staying at?
Thanks in advance.
Best location, very decent rooms, XLNT breakfast. Perfect for playing Soi Cowboy for all it's worth, good oilies in the immediate area too, (makes life easy.) Secret deal was a lot better when it was 1499 Baht.
Recommended.
Hi to all,

Is it ok, was somebody stay in Prince Hotel?
I used to have a girlfriend that worked as a receptionist there a long time ago. Half French. Half Thai: The most beautiful and sexy young woman on the planet. Life is full of regrets, not keeping that thing going is a big one.
OK, to answer your question: The Prince Hotel sucks. Give this one a pass Nightprawler, there are so many better hotels in Bangkok.
Let's find you someplace else to stay in January, shall we?
Hey guys,
I'll be going to Bangkok end of this month & i'll be staying at Don Muang Hotel near the old airport. Where can I go to get some TLC? Found that Don Muang Hotel is extremely far away from the city.
Appreciate the help & advise.
Though this hotel appears on some GF hotel lists, I have read some reports of joiner fees being asked. There are several hotels in the area with some permutation of Grand and Sukhumvit in their names so there could be confusion. The one I'm booked in is the Grand Sukhumvit Hotel on Soi 6 operated by Accor.
Thanks for any information.
I have stayed at the GrandSukhumvit 3 times and have never been asked for a joiners fee.I how ever always book the room for two persons and when asked for the second name state that I may have a friend join later.Never giving a name.Italian guy just my 2 cents,
How far of a walk is this hotel from Soi Cowboy? I stayed at S Sukhumvit Suites last trip (liked it a lot) and didn't see the Furama.

I'm there right now and it's very good value IMO.
There is free internet in your room as long as you use the 100 mps broadband cable that is provided. For some reason they DO make you pay for wifi though.
What are the current rates for st and lt in nana car parking lot? Or in clubs like climax, bossy?
Thanks for your opinions.

I don't think that there is much action around the old airport, probably best to find a reasonably priced hotel around Sukhumvit Road.
Hi to all,

Is it ok, was somebody stay in Prince Hotel?
If it's the Prince Hotel at 1537/1 New Petchburi Road, it's a long, long walk to Nana, Soi Cowboy, and most of the bars that are popular with tourists. It is, however, next door to Cupidy Massage and a few other ones around the corner. I used to take a taxi to the Prince Hotel to avoid the "taxi surcharge" whenever I went to Cupidy.
Since it's near the Japanese Embassy, I believe it caters to a lot of Japanese citizens or people who need access to the embassy. The business card that I have for the Prince Hotel has Japanese writing on one-side and Thai on the other side. That being said, I don't know of anyone who has ever stayed there.
I recently stayed 3 nights at the Bless Residence on Sukhumvit 33/2. I paid 2030 a night through Latestays.
I like the location (it's in the sub soi opposite Livingstone's) and the hard product was pretty good. A good sized one bedroom apartment with excellent bathroom. The pool on the roof got plenty of sun and I only saw someone else there once. They never lock the pool door so there's 24/7 access.
The TV selection was not great - my favourite channel was the one showing a split screen of reception and pool.
My biggest issue was that I because I booked through a 3rd party they were a bit annoyed to have to pay a commission. When I asked for an extra room key to keep the aircon on when I was out, they baulked and actually told me this is how they recoup some money by saving power. They also tried to charge me a 5% surcharge for Amex when checking out.
Would I stay again? Probably not but it was OK. It's just there are so many great places out there. If you want plenty of room it could be a good option.
I al ways stay at the MS. For some reasons that I find this hotel is totally unique in Bangkok. The hotel is close to actions. The price is right and with breakfast to start the d/
How far of a walk is this hotel from Soi Cowboy? I stayed at S Sukhumvit Suites last trip (liked it a lot) and didn't see the Furama.
It's a 4 min walk .... so very close - quicker if you can cross the street - but safer to use the underpass . nice hotel
I'm there right now and it's very good value IMO.
Although I stick to massage parlors, is the location of Citadines 8 good for access to Nana plaza, especially for the coming back?
