At the top right hand corner you can chose English.

You will want to fill out the EVOA before you arrive to Indonesia but not more than 90 days in advance. As a rule of thumb most people do it within a week or so of their arrival. Everything is pretty straightforward. You need to show proof of plane tickets (arrival and departure from Indonesia) and travel dates and type in an address to a hotel or airbnb. Upload pictures of your passport information page, and a recent photo. Answer all the questions which are basic questions about your travel plans, and then after you have submitted everything you have to pay a 500 k IDR ($32 usd) fee with a visa or mastercard.

While everything is pretty simple, the website itself is very finicky. Often times you will have to go back to fill in a field you missed and then all the other fields will get erased and you find yourself having to redo everything a cpl times to get it right, but once you get it all filled out correctly and submitted it will take you to a different landing page to make the payment and a 60 minute timer will appear. Again the payment page is finicky and it kept declining one of my debit cards eventhough I had sufficient funds available to cover to 500 k IDR ($32 usd) fee. Luckily, I have more than one card, so I tried it with a back up card and then it finally charged me and went through. So if you run into that problem just try using a different card until one works.

After making the successful payment I received an email pretty much instantly and inside that email was my Electronic Visa On Arrival (EVOA). Once you arrive you just show the immigration officer your phone with that on the screen and they put a sticker in your passport and let you right in. There are also some E-Gates you can use too and you just scan the barcode from the bottom of the EVOA document and then the gates open up and you don't even have to talk to an immigration officer, but I think someone reported recently that due to construction the E-gates were closed but that was a while back so it could be open again.

After 14 days have passed since your arrival to Indonesia you can go back to the imigrasi Indonesia website and go back into your account to look up your EVOA (the same document from the email is also stored in their website) and there will be a button that says "extend" or "extension" if I remember correctly. Just click on that and then it's basically like doing the same process a second time. I even used the same onward plane ticket and everything from the first one, and I think everything was prefilled when I did the extension so that made it a little easier. Then you have the same landing page again with the same 500 k IDR fee again. Once you successfully get the payment to go through then it will say processing but unlike the first one I didn't get an instant email with the extension. It didn't arrive until 9 days later actually. However I have read on reddit that once they take the 500 k fee from your card you are good. Just screen shot that receipt page and keep that to show imigrasi when you leave. They cannot charge you for overstaying if you paid for an extension. Since your only staying 5 days more than the original 30 you may not get the new extension document before you leave but if you show them that you paid for the extension you will be fine.

Also the reason why I recommend doing it thru the website as opposed to just showing up with nothing but your passport and then paying for a VOA in person is because then you cannot extend it online and you will have to physically go to the imigrasi office to pay for your extension in person and that may be a hassle. For example depending on which address you give them for your hotel it will assign you to a specific imigrasi office of which there are many for example Jakarta Barat and Jakarta Pusat are two different locations and if you may end up at the wrong one and have to go to the other one and wasting a considerable amount of time.

A little update in my Indonesia trip I am having good time almost every day I go to classic when I am in Jakarta, I have visited Surabaya and had good experience in Superior spa and Bali Rps spa, but I am having bad experiences almost in every city in Indonesia through Mi chat girls they want me to call incharge person Aka pimp to confirm booking, in Bali when I went to a hotel they want me to deposit 500 k in bank and will be return when I leave, I walk away and someone was calling me on WhatsApp video call and saying in Indonesia which I did not understand he had a uniform kind of police or security hidding his face with mask, I immediately block him I got a message from some other number saying to sort it out before they pick me up from my hotel, I was not scared but just worried since I did not do anything wrong or involve in any act and they don't know where I am, and in Surabaya also same thing happen but story was different there I call a girl to my hotel but she was not the same as photo, luckily I did not gave her my room number, after some time they started calling me on what's app I ignore them.

So long story short is it normal in Indonesia to call person incharge / pimp to book freelancer girl, anyone also experienced such thing or it's just me, let me know if any one has reliable contact pimp who does not want any advance or to extort money, I wanted girl to stay with me in hotel for few days, Tinder did not work for me so far not too many matches. Even when you ask them repeatedly if they are real pics, they will out and out lie to you.

I also went on an "authentic" Tinder date with someone which was a complete disaster.

You just have to keep your wits about you and know this is part of the practice in Indonesia. Still not as dodgy as in Vietnam.

Been planning a trip and discovered that I can use my Marriott miles at this hotel, located about 2 blocks south of the Monas, in the Thamrin area.

Is it an OK location if my adventuring is in Hotel Classic and north Jakarta?

By very best I mean Moevenpick, Red Top, Luminor Pecenongan. However is is reasonably well-located with respect to the Grand Indonesia shopping mall where you may want to hang out for meals and for withdrawing cash.

Had girls back here no problem.

Outside can't walk anywhere need transport.

Hi you can use your points at Four seasons Sheraton as well. Aloft is a few minutes walk from the main road whereas Sheraton is on the main road opposite the busway and around the 24 HR restaurants.

No issue in either place with guests you may find sometimes a few mamasan around the Ibis hotel. Aloft is cleaner more quieter and more comfortable.

Yes, Four points Sheraton is good option, very close to Sarinah mall (lot of food options).

Also I found best rate for USD near Sarinah mall.

When going to Classic, you can just get out of the hotel and catch Grab, but when coming back, make sure you put destination to Menara Cakrawala (quick walk to hotel), because Grab will need to make a you-turn from far away to get to hotel.

Also some girls working in hotel are available for dating. Some girls work there as intern who they live far away from city. I met one intern and she was up for spending night with me, only issue I had to book another hotel for that night as she could not stay in same hotel. But it was fun to date a hotel girl, never though that would even possible.

I have stayed at both places on points.
I do not recommend either.
The hotel and rooms at 4 points are dated.
Aloft rooms were a bit nicer, lobby was cool.
But I had roaches in my room.

I had originally booked my visit for this March, until I realized that it corresponds with the month-long holiday. My research indicated that almost ALL businesses will be closed. Restaurants may be open after sunset. Businesses that cater to travel like hotels will be open. But many retail stores, spas and other adult-oriented venues will almost certainly be closed. In addition, or as a consequence, most girls will leave the city to stay with family.

I suggest that if you can wait, do so.

However, visiting Jakarta during Ramadan is unwise, bordering on foolish if you ask me. There's no upside, only downside.
