I am in the same boat as Luvpuss. I have had unprotected sex with well over 100 women in the last 18 months and most of them were hookers and some from very skanky places such as Pattaya Soi 6.

I have never caught an STD but I was somewhat careful in terms of inspecting them down below and if anything was "fishy" then I would not go bareback. When I had my HIV test recently I was convinced I must have HIV as going by common understanding it would be impossible for me not to have caught it. To be fair I was absolutely shitting myself and thought I may actually pass out when I checked my results. I was and am HIV negative.

I am careful and never have overly vigorous sex, I never go too deep and would not have sex if I or the girl had any kind of sore. I just don't really see how it is possible to get infected by putting your penis inside a pocket of flesh (as long as said pocket has no cuts or abrasions and isn't menstrating).

A colleaugue of mine (a Doctor) had unprotected anal sex with well over 500 women in 7 or 8 years in Thailand (many in skanky brothels in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar and Philippines) and did not contract HIV. He was very much of the belief that HIV is a gay disease (and intravenous drug users obviously).

I will always be careful but I am less concerned about HIV now. I do think it is a misunderstood illness in terms of how it is passed from person top person. The chance of contracting HIV from a single sexual encounter where no blood is present is very slim indeed. Almost neglible. If you have sores or an open cut on your knob and you fuck a skanky ho girl vigorously in the ass then the odds change.

I wrap that rascal for other reasons. Currently because of the emergence of multi-drug resistent gonorrhea. Also, when one acquires a UTI there is scarring left in the urethra. After several infections, strictures can occur and one can start to have blockages. The old prostate causes enough trouble as we get older. Don't need others. Just my two cents.

Last week had the blood test for HIV and as well as the other regular test (liver, kidney, etc) after 10 years of hard core mongering. I have been offered BB on a number of occasions but have declined. To those that BB best of luck. Also all condoms are not alike and some are better than others.

The BKK / Patts combo makes it ONE of the largest concentrations (not THE largest) of P4P in the world. Just as almost all airplane collisions happen in or around airports the same holds for the majority of STD's being transmitted in P4P concentrations.

Compare that to the general population at around 1. 0 percent which is about 50 percent lower. Add in circumcision, which is like a condom that stays on you 24 hours a day for life & never breaks or slips off, and a guy like Luvpuss is even safer. Like about 60% safer from HIV than uncut guys. If he had his ladies pre tested for HIV, he could make himself safer yet. Ladyboys, homos & IDU are by far amongst the most high risk for HIV in Thailand and many other countries, but it seems unlikely Luvpuss has much if any sex with those types. Also I'd suggest that there are quite a substantial list of places that have P4P HIV rates at about 1. 8 percent or much higher than that.

I've seen some similarly high rates for parts of China and Eastern Europe. Compare that to Thailand at about 2. 2 percent. Then there's the Philippines at under half a percent.

Brazil is known for its ass fucking which is higher risk for HIV. I figure this la bamba business also occurs frequently in other Latin countries P4P scenes.

In the Roman Catholic Philippine Islands condom use is not popular, yet the reported HIV rates both for the general population and the P4P scene are very low, such as in a Western country like Canada. This might be attributed to a number of factors there that reduce transmission rates, such as, for examples, less promiscuity and the fact most PI guys are circumcised. So the BFs of PI hookers are less likely to pass on the disease to their GF than if they were uncut and butterflys like the guys in Siam.
