OK – When you make a general statement like this LBM you need to add a little more clarification as we could end up miss-leading people. There are different levels of action. For example if you watch a soccer game you should enjoy a game between two top sides like Chelsea and Man Utd. Rather that a game between two sides in a much lower division. You have Premier League and you have other leagues.

For Premier League see the Walking Street. Even though this doesn't run 24/7 this is where you find the quality action. Some people prefer a small dose of quality action rather than a large dose of action that doesn't quite match the same levels.

I do know that a number of farangs, many who live in Pattaya or who are on extended vacations; do like the kind of action that you mentioned. It's a chance for them to get together and talk about the old days and about the problems they have with their Thai wives / girlfriends. A bit like an ex-pat social club.

So for people visiting Pattaya on vacation. If you want the hot action you will find it in the Walking Street. If you want a more laid back social club type of action then follow LBM's direction. As he says it's all about personal choice?

Which seems to meet all my criteria. Booked their so-called large room for 6 nights at THB 1. 540 / night. Its under the same ownership as LK Metropole which is right next door and free use of Metropole's gym and swimming pool is included in the price.

I'll make sure and post a review of the place once I get there in early August.

no where was it mentioned " level of action " " soccer league " no one was asking the " leve of action " i believe if the question ask " action " most would generally believe or think " sex " where one can find it and where can one have it the most? one would assume why there is this board?

i believe your statement are a contradiction. between the two area's of walking street and lk. hot action can be debate but as i noted in general the majority of people would tell you that walking street is happening at night that is why the street is closed to traffic during the evenings. when it comes to l. k. althought as you stated " get together and talk about the old days etc." you have a greater amount of people checking out the bars, massage parlor, [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord900][CodeWord900][/url], d. d. and countless small open bars for action than you will see on walking street during the day. to end we are simple talking about sex and not soccer or the level of soccer? we are also not talking about food or the level of food.

regardless, we do agree that it is a personal choice let the readers decide and get back regarding out statement but lets not bring soccer into this. personally soccer is boring to me but being in pattaya i'm trying to get into it but i always fall asleep before the game even gets to half time?

I like their T-208, but as they seem to be very busy they have moved me a couple of times, as I had no prior long-term booking. Now in C-Block, which are very nice and clean studios. These studios have HDMI LCD's. Today opening of the new SUGAR Gogo, just down the.

Secrets is close to WS. Swiss Food Hotel is right on Soi Diamond and is close to WS also.

I am leaning to Swiss Food Hotel because of the Food and closeness to both Soi Diamond and WS. I've seen pics of both and the King Suites@Swiss looks great.

Ill be there the last 2 weeks of Sept. You around then? My 1st trip to Pattaya also. If you are lets share a beer or 2.

LK. If you like quantity you will find this but the quality is 3rd / 4th rate. We are talking about an average of 4 out of 10. It is what it is a cheap area, girls etc, for ex-pats and tourists on a tight budget

Most of the questioners here seem to be looking for high class accomodation and don't mind paying for it. I do not understand that mentality. If you agree with me and would like to stay in an adequate place right in the middle of Walikng Street than I suggest Roo Bar. It is only 500 baht per night, has good western food in the bar, free bottled water in the rooms, and plenty of English speaking people (although Australians can be hard to understand after they are drunk which they will often be) to talk to if you are a newbie and want pointers on where to go. The owners often hang out drinking at the bar too. There is no pool but who needs that when you have the beach?

On my next trip to Pats I may try staying on LK Metro to try that area out but for my first trip Roo Bar was an excellent choice.

I need some honest opinions about these hotels from a monger's point of view who has stayed or visited. .

Pros: Quiet Area, Nice Room, Nice Pool, All you can drink pool bar from 6-7pm 300 baht. Cons: Roaches in Bathroom, Friends have had bed bugs, they actively market in India, so our Indian brothers and sisters come by the busloads. There is a very long wait to get an elevator from 8 am until the early afternoon because of the tour groups. And you are sure to be on the 15th or 16th floor. Joiner fee*

*The joiner fee is kind of touchy. There is a sign in the elevator that says there is a joiner fee of 600 baht. They started that because of the problems between our Indian brothers and the P4P girls. They never told me a check in about it and one night they tried to pull it on me. I had a fit because I had stayed there so many times and they had never said anything to me before so I refused to pay it. It went away. One of my non-pros works there so I was at the desk a couple of weeks ago when some of our Indian brothers were checking in and she did tell them about it. She also made them pay a deposit. They had 5 rooms so it was either 5, 000 baht (1, 000 baht for each room) or US$250 ($50 for each room). They chose the $ route which didn't make any sense at all to me.

I was hoping to add some points to my A-Club account from Accor Hotels. Now that you've given me a behind the scenes glimpse, I think I'd stay away.
