What happened to the real places?
I use to travel quite a bit in and out of the kingdom few years back. I know most people are seemingly happy with what they get here these days but prices seem to have shot up in a ridiculous manner!
After having seen the 1 and 2 star places all dead, its a pity because there doesnt seem to be a major difference except maybe in minger-stunner ratios comparing 1-2 star places to the 3 star places these days.
Omar K, Al-Af, and I think it was Bristol which had some great deals back in 2007 like 10-15 for the chick and 10 for the room, ST of course. Its a pity, all are down and out.
I agree though Pal Joeys was always 20 for ST and the rooms were always 15-25!
I cant believe how the prices have rocketed for almost the same deals!
Any updates on MPs these days? Royal H and Al afrah is dead so Marad's help would be appreciated on this matter.

The 1 and 2 star hotels got stuffed last year around this time when the government, in its infinite wisdom, decided that they should not serve booze. This effectively killed off 59 1 and 2 star hotels, including Baisan, Omar K, Al Afrah and others. I have noticed that, following a raid last year, the Omar K has reopened, but without booze and alledgedly without girls. The Afrah similarly has reopened, but without girls.
Pal Joeys (Seashell) is undergoing a massive refurbishment to increase the number of rooms to 60. With this number of rooms they can apply for a 3 star rating that will give them the booze license. In the meantime, the girls are congregating in the coffee shop opposite the main entrance in what was downstairs from the disco. Prices range, but a shag should cost BD20. If you want to take a room the rates have increased from BD15 to BD25. Too much in my opinion for a ST. There is a small hotel around the back of the Brit club that the girls use for ST that charges BD 15 for ST. The girls know the directions.
Otherwise, last week was very, very quiet. Will have to venture out this weekend to check out the difference. F1 was the quietest I have seen it, Diggers was about one-third strength and TCs was dead as a dodo. Wranglers was heaving, though had WAY too many septics from the ships to make the visit enjoyable. Mind you I was quite pissed by that point. Another place to chase is the sports bar next to the Dublin pub in the Ramee Palace in Juffair. They usually have some quite cute Thais in attendance.
The Bahrain International in Manama didn't seem to have any of the usual crowd of tarts when I walked through the other night. Usually they are at the bar or coffee shop, just loitering. Nothing. It could have been that I was early in the evening.

Another dead Friday night in Manama
Another Friday night and another very quiet night it was too. Started in JJs and arrived just in time to miss a soup-throwing incident. A US navy guy took umbrage and threw some hot soup over someone. Damn, missed it by five minutes. Crowd-wise, typical JJs, no WGs and a number of dogs. Definitely the Kennel Club was represented, but not Crufts.
Moved onto Warblers. Damn the lead singer in the band is seriously hot. However, the sound system is not set up correctly, in my opinion, and was too loud. Net result was that you can't clearly hear the music. Mind you, it's not really my taste (rock is) so I probably won't be going back in a hurry. Again, no WGs to be seen. In fact, very few females at all.
So on to F1. For the second week running, dead as a dodo. About six or seven girls and that was about it. One of my wing-men phoned a lass he knew and she came along and brought a couple of friends. One was quite nice with what looked like a nice pair of tits, and the other was a splitting image of 'Ugly Betty.' When she took off her shapeless jacket you could see a nice bod, but the boat-race was nothing special. I know you don't look at the mantle when you're stoking the fire, but . . . One petite cutie in a red top took my interest, until she started quoting BD60 for short time. WTF ! As 11Bravo would say, too much for MY liking. Friend took his phone companion with him and we trundled across town to Diggers.
The word must be getting out. The girls are frightened to go out and were very edgy when they word in the club was that the LE were outside. Again, very slim pickings in Diggers. Not many girls at all. All seemed to be PRC, none of the usuall Thai contingent. One quite cute PRC came to talk. Nice bod and a Japanese-looking face. I would have taken her, until she came out with the price of BD60 for ST. I realise that times must be hard, but at those prices the girls are going to go home alone. Especially if the punter has to ante up for a room at anything from BD15 to BD30. That can be an expensive night just for what will probably amount to just one pop.
So we cut our losses. and I dropped the wingman and his girl back at his appartment in Seef and then ventured to the Wrangler in Juffair. It was packed! Though mainly of US servicemen and very few women. The ratio M/F would be about 80/20. Plus there seemed to be a worrying number of jailbait around. Got to figure Easter break at the schools. Apart from that, not much to report. A few LARGE African ladies trying to ply their trade. A couple of half-decent girls who were being swamped, but nothing to write home about, and certainly nothing to float my boat.
Final destination was the Diva club in the Ramee Palace. Hell, I was in Juffair and I hadn't been there before. First floor of the RP. Avoid. Four CIS girls, a couple with nice tits gyrating to music played from a laptop. Audience, sparce but totally male. Not a female, WG or not, in sight.
Complete bust of a night then. This morning I heard that Diggers had been raided by LE and about 15 girls rounded up about an hour after we left. I will get confirmation later today. This is not looking good for our hobby at all. The current crackdown by LE in advance of elections later this year is looking like a solid bust. The remaining girls will tend to hunker down and not go out so much, I presume.
Time to break out the numbers you accumulated over the last few months. . . You did take time to get the numbers, didn't you?
