Please stop with the lies. It takes 7-11 years for off shore wind farms and the link clearly states 4-8 years for onshore, if its just a few experimental wind turbines-then four years, but anything of significance which can actually power a small town takes more like 8 years. And again, on average the turbine and gearbox must be replaced every 7 years! This time? About what? Oh, you mean your asinine assetion that restaurants were doing great under Biden and terrible under Trump? That when thinking about going out to eat, people say, "Oh, Trump is in office, I better not go. "
I wonder if you even read your links because the first line was "As the restaurant industry endured another difficult year". Oh yeah, if only Biden were still in office, everything would be great. When you check the list of Restaurants provided by EihTooms, you see that several of them, have also fallen to the bad financing and management decisions like Red Lobster, under the yoke of private equity firms, further exacerbated under a high tariff, MAGA Fuhrer regime styled economics.

No surprise, since he has also increased the cost of groceries damn I'm glad he invented that word and increased the Rate of Inflation vs this same reported Q3 Rate for last year under Biden, added $3-5 Trillion to his deficits while tanking the labor market and business investments and once again driving American farmers into Recession while gifting China with their international customers now lost forever, all of which is exactly the opposite of what dumb Repub hillbilly MAGA suckers were blissfully easily conned into thinking they were voting for.

Even your endless shrimp argument means egg all your over your face. Is the restaurant industry in trouble because of bad management or who is president? You cannot even give a straight answer, but you take both sides of an argument and declare victory? What else is new?
Correlating whether people go out to eat with who is president is insane. That you two bring presidential politics into everything just shows how bad your TDS truly is.

Doesn't that say it all?
The funniest narrative is the USA just wants to steal Venezuela's oil. I laugh because people do not know what was going on. Chavez and Maduro have not only been stealing all the oil money. They have run the industry into the ground. So we are going to steal Venezuela's oil as compared to what? Maduro and Chavez stealing it?
FWIW though, I do not think this was even about oil. When you look at some of the swing states, if you could put a few hundred thousands Venezuelans in and pay them off to vote Democrat, you will have the entire nation in blue forever. That is what Elon Musk talked about. Last I checked there were six million Venezuelan refugees. It might be at ten million now. Most of the Venezuelan refugees illegals need to be shipped back to Venezuela and fast.
And can we stop with this fairest election crap? Look at Georgia. https://washingtonstand.com/article/315000-georgia-votes-lacked-certifying-signatures-in-2020-election-records-show
After five years of trying, a citizen investigator has finally uncovered proof of widespread irregularities in the 2020 election results for Fulton County, Ga. , and he wants accountability. After obtaining nearly all the county's election records through an open records request, David Cross discovered that signatures were missing on no less than 134 tabulator tapes, representing some 315,000 votes.
"This is not partisan. This is statutory," Cross argued in a hearing earlier this month before the Georgia State Election Board (SEB). "When the law demands three signatures on tabulator tapes and the county fails to follow the rules, those 315,000 votes are, by definition, uncertified. "
To these challenges, Ann Brumbaugh, attorney for the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, effectively pleaded "no contest. "
"I've not seen the tapes myself," she responded, "but we do not dispute that the tapes were not signed. It was a violation of the rule. . We don't dispute the allegation from the 2020 election. "
Just like with the Somali day care and health care scams in Minnesota, the lame stream media was once again scooped by a citizen investigator. All the lamestream media did in 2020 was repeat government talking points on Covid and how 2020 was the fairest election in American history. They did not investigate jack shit.
I am not sure if it was the plummeting ratings or polls showing a lack of trust but CBS was singing a new tune. https://*******.com/4h2weayp
"On too many stories, the press has missed the story. Because we've taken into account the perspective of advocates and not the average American. Or we put too much weight in the analysis of academics or elites, and not enough on you. "
Well, that is great CBS, but are you going to walk the walk?
In general terms, I do not like the kind of foreign intervention Trump / the USA doing what it did in Venezuela but like you, I knew from talking to Venezuelans how fucking bad Chavez and Maduro were. One gal I was seeing showed me a video of people eating out of the garbage and said it was a daily fact of life for so many there. Of all the places in the world, Venezuela may be the exception to the rule for us not getting involved.
That does not mean it is going to be easy. Of all the things I saw, the worst was the Chavez / Maduro culture allowed for and promoted stealing. If you were in government and you were not stealing, you were a fool. I hate to say it, but the smart Venezuelans in government stuffed their pockets and got the hell out of the country. To me, that is going to be the hardest thing to change, the lawless culture.
Still, Venezuela is a country which should be as rich if not richer than Saudi Arabia given how much oil they have. If you care about the Venezuelan people at all, you should hope that Trump's plan to improve the lives of the people there succeeds. That is what matters, the plight of the Venezuelan people, but are they going to matter or is this once more going to be more of the red blue, presidential politics crap? I think we have already seen the answer.

After taking office for a second time in January 2025, Trump pardoned the rioters.
Oh, on that particular issue, did you hear Trump's boast about how "regime change" might have been a failed policy for previous presidents but he has a sterling record of success for everything so don't worry about how Little Marco and Drunkie Hegseth will handle that thingy in Venezuela?
LOL.
Apparently he forgot how his disastrously failed attempt at "regime change" turned out on January 6, 2021. And that was with him already AS president and commander-in-chief of the country he led his mob of America-hating Insurrectionists into bloody battle on American soil to overturn a free and fair election, overthrow American democracy and assassinate a few duly-elected officials along the way including his own Vice President.
That was the fastest and most widely-documented failed "regime change" attempt in history. And he didn't have to send a couple loons from his Administration to another country to fail at it.
Here is one of the best short videos on the Donroe Doctrine shared with me by a friend:

Stick to facts please. Your posts are just so misleading. Building wind farms up and down are coasts when we are 10 years away from nuclear fusion is insanely dumb and horrible for the environment. Maybe it is cheaper, still doesn't justify building it because it destroys the environment and takes up far too much space. And when the whole wind farm needs to be replaced every 7 years, my gut tells me it is not the cheapest form. Keep up the slandering scum job of green energy being at all logical. Fraud.

Maduro ran a nation so poorly that millions of his own people fled and the only way they could generate money was to sell cocaine and poison Americans. What an amazing for USA to show its strength and show the world there is still a time when people shut the fuck up and let the men with the biggest guns put the drug dealing criminals behind bars.
An amazing day for Venezuela as well. So happy to see them liberated, free, and on to a path of prosperity through unity and trust with the USA.
