I wouldn't say that ALL the bar girls in NEP and surrounding areas are just as pretty, because those two girls you mention are models. You'll see Thai Girls walking around at the airport that are babes. Most of them are just as you desire, great bodies, skin tone, etc. Just wait till you get to NANA. If you don't see a girl you want to screw within five or ten minutes or LESS, then you are blind. Just remember to pace yourself. You sound new to visiting Thailand, so just get a beautiful girl who speaks english, and do a short time with her. Don't get two girls right out of the gate. I strongly don't recommend that. Sometimes two girls work together in getting more out of you than just some wood. Get one girl, and get your feet wet that way. DO NOT tell all the girls you meet it is your first time in Bangkok. They aren't going to jump for joy for you being there. Just play it cool, and you'll be fine.

Finally, be nice to the katoeys. You DO not want to [url=http://isgprohibitedwords.info?CodeWord=CodeWord140][CodeWord140][/url] off a ladyboy. I heard a story out of Phuket years ago that a naval pilot gave them a bunch of crap for being the way they are. He was drunk and boisterous. A group of katoeys came to visit him at his hotel at 4am. By 4:10am he was dead, having been thrown off the balcony of his 4th floor hotel room. I also understand that no charges were ever filed by the local police.

If you have unlimited funds and the right Thai connections you can have anything you want. However, if you are just an average Joe here for a two week vacation, you are pretty much relegated to the tourist venues in BKK or Pattaya. If you are going to compare the girls who work in the "tourist areas" to Thai models you are going to be sorely disappointed.

Soi Cowboy has been defying official closing times at some bars. A few weeks ago there was a change of police boss and earlier closng was occurring just for a short period the mamasan claimed. Would be back to extra late closing soon (e.g. later than 2AM I think if got customers).

Any way I can't see a problem. I will arrive at a similar time later this month and I expect to still find plenty of action at Soi Cowboy when I get there. Not sure about other areas.

Lily Koh doesn't sound like a Thai name. Nor does Thainee. Thats because they are fake names for Pornstars rather than models.

Koh means "Island" but has a very strange abrupt pronunciation that inexperienced westerners cannot usually say. Doesn't make a nice sounding name.

You will find girls that can compete with your two. Just not a huge percentage of them. Won't be hard to find a better body than Lily but she does have a very pretty face which will be hard to match.

Actually many Thai real models are not really exceptionally pretty, its just that they have the right hight and style.
I find few Thai television actresses to be exceptionally pretty. Perhaps westerners go for a different look to what Thais do.

So I don't don't totally agree with Retired Army, which is not unusual. You possibly will think its just about paradise or at least be reasonably satisfied. Its usually the long timers in Thailand who are the most dissatisfied.

Absolutely correct. I think most visitors only see the very "surface" of Thailand, Thai society and Thai's in general. After living here for a while you get a whole different different prespective. I have the added advantage of being married to a Thai so I am exposed to a different side of Thailand that most short-term visitors are not privy to; but, I've learned to love Thailand despite its many flaws.

Speak for yourself. Most of the Farang I know go for the type of girl you see on Thai TV and have tastes similar to Thais, as do I.

The "different look" that most Farang visitors prefer baffles the Thais. The question I hear the most is, "Why do Farang men like such ugly girls?" My GF, who works at a top, 5 star hotel is constantly mystified at the choice of Thai girls she sees with Farang guests.

And you speak for yourself. The 'gawky Chinese Thai look' that Bangkok Thais and expats such as yourself find so stunning is utterly baffling to most Western farang. It simply doesn't fit any Western stereotypes of beauty. Who's right and who's wrong? Stoopid question of course.

In Patts, guys are often walking around with the locals' wives, which probably creates rather mixed emotions within the locals.

Don't worry for us tourists walking around Bangers with our 'Isaan skanks' and suchlike: We laugh at you and the locals. And the biggest laugh is that we get to go back to civilisation after we've had enough fun :D.
