Ah, if only. Too risky for yourself, I guess?
Herr Doktor
Happy birthday to Mrs G. for yesterday, if my addled brain serves me well?
Sitting in the lodge after 10 days away... It's a rough life but someone has to do this hard work. What is surprisingly is that Giotto is in the bar playing pool and not locked up with a computer.
But what is most important is that they have about 5 new girls in the last 10 days. Over the last month there are many many new girls in the stable. Now if only some wing men would get here to test them all out....
Are they as pretty as your girl?

You brain serves you well - I will pass your congratulations to her.
Thanks!

Many are prettier then my TGF and seem more wild then before but it is slow season so maybe they are just more willing with less customers. Having a pretty fun time being one of the only customer in the bar full of lovely ladies but as Sonic knows I would have something cut off if I attempted anything with any of them.
God it was a long 10 days away from Thailand and so nice to be back.
Had my Birthday the other day... the night before my B day some of the girls at the lodge bought a bunch of flowers and a cake for me (as we were going to be tied up on the actual B Day). Now that's a nice way to spend a BDay for an old man... having a bunch of lovely ladies around you being sweet mouth to you.
Even if the some of the girls change the staff remains the same and some of the girls in the lodge are still around and take good care of folks. So nice having a home away from home.

So ....... you've been staying in Giotto's dungeon, have you? ;)
finally will be making it to los. my plane arrives at 5:55 am local time.
special thanks to all the forum members who have posted great information here. i'm pretty confident that i can navigate the airport, exchange some initial currency there, and get a good fare from the taxi's (check the departure on 4th floor.)
i should be arriving at ll around 8:30 to purchase breakfast and drop off my bags until my room is available. then it is out to learn the lay of the land.
since i'm coming from a business trip in india, the jet lag shouldn't be much at all after a week adjusting here. (although the overnight trip and sleeping in a plane seat will be a bi*ch.) may do some initial shopping (generic cialis at the pharmacies on soi 4) and take a good nap in the afternoon.
then after meeting the "oracle of bangkok" (giotto) it is off to work on my mongering "bucket" list. that includes a good soapy, oily, and thai massage; eden club; nana car park and thermae for free lancers; strolling nana, soi cowboy, and patpong areas; bj bars ([CodeWord900], and afterskol sound good), shows. etc.
oh yeah. i also have to do some real tourist stuff and take pictures since this is a tourist vacation and the wife would expect nothing more. of course, she doesn't have to know that i have a cute tg as a local guide while i do the tourist stuff.
damn, i'm going to be busy!

i sense someone is planning a return visit soon?
weatherman,
the oracle of bangkok - who is that????
oracle - as i know is a dbms - database management system. so far i am with you.
[CodeWord900] - afterschool - that are no projects i know about in the java world.
beans - btw. - have nothing to do with coffee. beans exist to make the life really difficult - for a java developer.
java - is a programm language. long time ago it was an island somewhere - but this must have changed. i don't know. but i want a coffee. somewhere in java, please (if possible).
bj bars - blow job - that is somehow interesting. never heard about that in the java world. but it must be something like a very badly done job - buggy - just blow it off and forget it - yep - that's a blow job.
now - i could ask the question in the java community what a blow job is - but i think i better don't do that. though i believe that many of the developers of that community would really appreciate one ... :) ...
whatever - life is short.
Had my Birthday the other day...
Tansak KTV,
Just a moment - what birthday?
The real one? Yours? That one of the President? His daughter? His grandson?
I heard about a tradition - customs from where you come from. Something like "birthday by definition" - "Christmas - Loriot" - "There must be a reason for the next BBQ party on the balcony ... " ...
May be Karl Marx' birthday ... what do I know.
Giotto
PS: You look like 86 - do you really want to celebrate your birthday? --- Come here, let's celebrate "Grufty back in Bangkok"!

I feel like I'm 86... this Hua Hin stuff and having a girl take care of me around the clock is tiring work. I need to get back to BKK so I can get some real work done and have an excuse to get some rest. Be back Sat or Sunday or such for a few more days in BKk prior to leaving. It's amazing any girl would want this fat old man.
well i suppose you could take it to the java community but they might have trouble interpreting it.
since i'm a hard core programmer myself i like the allusions. mostly c and c++ though. its really easy to find programmers in the us. just go to any corner in a southern city and ask the guys hanging out if they need a job. most will answer "c. " instant programming workforce. (my apologies to all the hispanic members of the forum.)
arrived here yesterday about 9 am. managed 300 baht from the airport (actually 220 but i gave the driver a good tip because he had to really work around the morning traffic on suk).
took a walk and ride on the sky train to get the lay of the land. air conditioned cars my foot, more like refrigerated cars. you could hang beef in them and it would stay ok. (actually it felt good after walking for an hour.) had intended to stop at [CodeWord901]'s after they opened but i thought it was on a side street that went through from soi 6 to soi 4. found my error later online back at the lodge. got there in the evening. (see post in bkk reports.)
did get all my non-mongering goals accomplished. picked up generic cialis, got my phone unlocked and grabbed a local sim card and minutes. picked up some extra water.
came back and crashed for 6 hours. got up at 8 pm to head out for a little mongering.
now, what is the best way and time to ask for you at the lodge. i asked the bar tender for the boss yesterday and he said you were asleep and wouldn't be up until around 10. send me a pm to let me know.

Now that would be an accomplishment... To barfine all 5 new girls without getting entangled in the psycho-drama that would result from it. You'd need a silver tongue, a teflon jacket and lots of vitamin "C".
