Dressing and acting like there're players in Monaco is pretty pathetic when in reality this is just a low cost resort town in SE Asia. Like you said "what a dick", a jealous one at that.

Interesting that you are staying on soi 6, is that where you spend all your time?

As to hotel choices, I've stayed at many different locations from WS to LK metro down to Soi 8. This time going with the baywalk residence. Seems like it's close to both WS and LK metro, also a quick baht bus run to and from soi 6.

Now if I'm at soi 6 and want to get to LK metro or head from LK metro to my hotel I'll always use a motorbike taxi, if you don't you have to walk from beach road all the way up. Don't do it often but only when I'm in an odd location.

So I just met a Thai girl in Pattaya and she told my friend that she likes me and so I asked her out, she is not a working girl she works at billiards place and I'll be picking her up tomorrow at 8 pm when she finish her shift it's my second day in Pattaya I have no clue where to take her I tried telling her to name places to go but she keeps saying I can't talk to you I am shy around you, please help me veterans.

Just giving him a taste of what he may come off looking as to some of us who had the game to get it free back in our day. He is clueless about how we live our lives here. Few of the guys I hang out with live with industry girls. It's the other pool making up 99% of Thai women they settle down with. These aren't the hookers in the clubs he only knows of.

I'm only relaying what the girls told me the story was. My thai isn't good enough yet to understand all the profanities they must have been throwing his way.

Interesting about St prices. Typical 1 hour soi 6 price is 1000 baht in the bar. They charge less for ST? I know a friend who is being quoted 2500 LT so 1000 LT seems a bit off, Maybe different bars has significantly different prices. I don't ask Soi 6 girls to come home with me so personally no experience with ST / LT pricing.

Don't do it often but only when I'm in an odd location.[/QUOTE]I've been to Pattaya twice. Both times, I stayed at the Jasmine Hotel on Soi BJ next to WS. That hotel is great. It is very convenient, clean, and affordable. However, the Jasmine has two minor problems.

The first is, you are far away from baht buses and any day time activity. You must do a good deal of walking during the day, so you can be close when you stumble home at night.

Secondly, there is a ladyboy bar right next door, and they get pushy when you walk by late at night. I have nothing against them trying to make money, but I don't like being grabbed by the arm or have my path blocked when I really just want to sleep. Although I won't be staying at Jasmine again, I'd still recommend it for budget travelers who want to be near WS. I'd also highly recommend it to ladyboy lovers. (not my thing though).

My last trip to Pattaya, I fell in love with Soi 6. It opens early in the day, has friendly company, and beer is fairly cheap. The last time I visited Soi 6, I was annoyed with my current hotel location, and I started obsessing over the Queen Victoria Inn. It seemed perfect to me. But as we all know, nothing is as good as it seems in Thailand. I figured I've give it a try anyways. I've read up on other hotels, but I keep thinking about TQVI. I figured next trip, I'd try there. If I don't like it, I'll try a different one. I've also read good things about April Suites and a host of other places.

However, if the general consensus of this board is to avoid that hotel, I'll trust your collective expertise.

What does everybody think? Keep in mind that I don't want to blow my entire budget on a hotel, so the Hilton is out of the equation.

Many times I've gotten the overall price to be anywhere from 1000-1200 b (300-350 b for fixed BF) and rest to her (700-900). Girls don't seem to be upset if you try to bargain as they expect it. This is just my take on the subject as many will just go with the flow and not be bothered with asking about money.

If it's too good to be true. It normally is. While I don't mean to desist you, I do mean to play the devils advocate. Getting involved emotionally in Pattaya is a dangerous thing. We normally say think from your head and not from the tip of your willy. Well do just the opposite in Pattaya.

A few hundred baht? Not worth my time and the effort. Once I have picked a girl to my liking and established a reasonable price, I close the deal and try to get balls deep into her moist pussy without delay.
