However, in their homeland it's entirely different story. There is lot of competition and quality is superb. I have been in bars and gogos where there is a girl who is by far and away the hottest in the bar (agreed upon by more than one guy) , and yet nobody talks to her or pulls her because her demeanor, attitude, facial expression, etc leaves so much to be desired, and often guys see the girls that are so full of themselves that they leave them well alone. Whereas the 3rd and 4th girls, who in no way are bad looking, have tons of guys because they smile, joke, have a good line, and are game. If anything I pay extra for good attitude and service, lookers are a plenty and not worth arguing or fighting over.

I have these problems more often with Nana girls, but its all about choosing the right experienced girls, of course. Lesbian show girls are rarely a let down and they seem to know how to do things. In bars in general, I prefer girls who are very hot and sensual expert dancers, rather than very lazy types. They seem to perform better in bed too. A good long chat first helps understand the personality a bit, weeding out girls too shy / conservative and those to crazy or spaced out on drugs.
In the end its still a roll of the dice. We all get unlucky sometimes. Repeating with known great girls is of little risk of course.
With regard to Baccarat. I agree with Harold. They have reasonable looking girls, but only a few really stunning. Japanese tastes are clearly different to my own. What disturbs me about Baccara is so many girls look so bored up there on the stage, like they are just going through the motions waiting to rip of someone Japanese customer that will pay them a lot for very little. Very pretty girls that dance really well are few. I prefer more raunchy bars like Suzi Wong and Sheba, although far too many girls are Ice addicts, even if banned on the premises, these days. Fortunately Ice addictions doesn't seem to spoil every girl's performance even if they get a bit loud and bit hyped. I avoid them if too spaced out though. The lineups there can be very weak in terms of beauty too but if I can find just one I like, I am happy.
