I am staying at the Flipper Lodge now the Promo they have is stay 5 night get one night free so it average out to be 960 B a night with one free brunch buffet.
7 am to 1 pm vaule at 139 bht, there are very few mongering around most bar girl said no buisness everthing cost higher since I was here last year.

I stayed at the new April Suites hotel just off 2nd Road for 7 nights at the end of July and can recommend it highly.
The hotel is situated in a small side soi just after the crossroads (Tops) with Pattaya Klang and is a couple of minutes walk to the Baht buses running on soi Buakhao and P. Klang.
Easy stroll to Soi 6 in one direction and New Plaza and Soi 7/8 in the other.
I paid 1050 THb a night, rooms nicely decorated, med sized Sony LCD, small rooftop pool with Sauna and small Gym nearby.
Good helpful staff on reception and car parking for about 5 vehicles at the back, which I need.
Quiet location, BFs or GFs signed in at the desk no questions and great value for money.
On walking st. (soi be. J) nice and clean rooms.
GF, as many as you like.

I emailed them this weekend and they quote me prices for November;
Cheapest room in April suites is 1500 thb.
Cheapest in August suites is 1750 thb.

I just got back from my stay at Pattaya. Though this is not the first time I am staying at Pattaya Bay Resort, I thought I should mention this one as I was impressed by their professionalism, service and the overall feel in the hotel. All service people greet you with a smile and are very prompt with whatever request you have.
This is a good one if you want your stay to be somewhat centrally located to different places of action, and at the sametime be at a peaceful location. It is located around 10 mins walk to Walking Street and 5 mins walk to LK Metro. This is from where the Hotel Shuttle drops you at Second road or Soi Bukhao. Also, Second Road is just 3-5 mins walk when you take a route through the Avenue Mall.
They have decently sized rooms which come with a balcony. Ideal for someone who smokes. I find the beds very comfortable too. Guess its a good deal for the 1070 you pay during the low season with a complementary morning breakfast also. Another thing I like about this hotel are the Safety aspects. They come with an in-room safe. Its small but you can put in your passport, cards, cash, etc. They also keep the girls I'd at the reception and call you to confirm if everythings alrite before the girls gets the I'd back.
The only trouble with this place is walking back from W. S may get taxing at night and you would need to hire a motorbike taxi. Esp returning from a disco with the girl when you're tired, sleepy and its late night / early morning. 60-80 baht is what I get quoted from Walking Street by the motorbike taxis.

For the 1st one, if you bring in more than one at a time the second one is charged. If noise bothers you request a room away from the courtyard.

Highly recommended[/QUOTE]I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. I usually do not comment on stuff like hotels. Who really cares. It's the girlz we are after! This time I feel I must comment. I stayed here 3 years ago. It was my worst stay at a hotel. Period.
I had a reservation and arrived at the hotel to a female clerk at the front desk. She was rude throughout check-in. Maybe because I had some deal on the room and she wanted me to pay extra for an upgrade (which it was then discovered that it was not available as they were fully booked??), stating that she only had the type of room I booked on the ground floor. I said the ground floor was OK. That I was not picky and that everything should be fine. She was upset by this comment and there was no one else to take care of my check-in. She was the only person at the location.
Then I went to the room and it stunk of molds and whatever else, caused by water intrusion into the room. I alerted her to this. She said, yes, the ground floor rooms smell bad sometimes. The room was so bad it was actually disgusting. I told her I would check out and to just refund my money. Nope. OK then will you fix the room. Nope."cannot", some bull about the owner and other employees and more be. S. I don't remember.
Time was a wasting and I had no time to keep arguing with her. The room was so bad, I went to a soapy, returned to the room for some smelly mildew sleep (was tired from the trip....had other plans...but not in this room!!) and out the f u ck of there, next day. (I only stayed the one day....thank my lucky stars I only booked for one night and was able to find some very decent lodging at a similar price point)
I could not let this go when I saw the review. This was a horrendous situation. With a real scum bag employee.
I think if there had been a room available on a higher floor, she would give it to me at an upcharge. But none was availalbe at that time. F you ck her. Whoever she was.
I forgot one issue. This was on a Saturday going into a Sunday morning. At 8:00 AM sharp. Loud banging in the hall. I open the door. Workers are fixing a door and flooring. Banging away with no respect for sleeping guests. WTF. THIS PLACE SUCKS. If you need more info. PM me.
stayed at lk metropole for 10 nights, first 3 nights in the standard room on 4th floor (pool facing). booked with asiarooms for 1500 baht / night. remaining 7 nights, stayed at the studio room on 6th floor (also pool facing) paid 1790 baht / night directly to hotel. much bigger and nicer room.
service : very good, no problems, during check-out, i even forgot to take back the 500 baht deposit i paid them, but they called me back from my cab and gave me the money.
wi-fi : free throughout hotel, good signal, decent speed, no complaints.
facilities : had a pool and gym, which i used regularly, no problems at all, pool and gym average size, however they closed at 8 pm.
breakfast : woke up for breakfast only 50% of the time, you order from a menu, good variety, american / british breakfast, burger & fries, spagetti, even thai food. however, i found most of their breakfast too salty (except the thai food which was okay). overall very average breakfast.
bathroom : the one complaint i had was that i was unable to adjust the water temperature of the shower, sometimes it's too hot, you open the cold tap slightly and it becomes too cold, you shut it and it becomes too hot again. thought this problem was only in my room, but had the same problem in the other room i moved to. you have to keep turning the knobs to adjust temperature when taking a shower, quite inconvenient really.
girl-friendliness : nobody bothered to look who you brought back or check i'd. 's of the girls. there was a notice at the reception which read that customers will be charged 500 baht extra if they bring back 2 ladies, but nobody would even know. i didn't bring 2 ladies back during this trip but one guy on my floor used to and nobody questioned him at all.
surrounding area : many clubs, bars and go-go's in area, no need to really leave the area, notable ones are champagne, office, kiss, mash, submarine, oasis, sugar sugar, blu club. you should find a girl you like at one of these clubs.
overall an old but well-maintained hotel, with good service, only concern was the shower water temperature and less security procedures at night. definitely worth a repeat.
