” Federal agents at the border do not need any reason to search through travelers’ laptops, cell phones or digital cameras for evidence of crimes... ” http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/04/border-agents-c.html
I've made eight trips to LOS the past two+ years and each time I have returned to different cities (Seattle. Portland, San Francisco). I've only been seriously searched once (in Seattle). That particular trip, my first, the Customs man x-rayed a package of table place mats I bought for my mother. But he never even looked at my laptop, cameras, extra hard drive, etc. Go figure.
Hahahahaha sucks to live in the US of A, but when you thing about it, would you not rather they search your Laptop and Electronics instead of stuffing their fingers up your asshole looking for "Evidence of Crimes"? LOL
Dont LOL too fast mon grand,
”Federal agents at the border do not need any reason to search through travelers’ laptops, cell phones or digital cameras for evidence of crimes, a federal appeals court ruled Monday, extending the government’s power to look through belongings like suitcases at the border to electronics... ” (04/22/08)
So basically what isnt explicitly implied is that that power to "look through belongings" has been extended from looking up your arse (and looking in your carry-ons, your pockets, taking off your coat, your shoes, etc.)!
Eh?! No it's not. Methane, hydrogen sulphide, etc are particles? Back to school time...
Molecules are still particles. When you're smelling something, it means a sufficient number of those molecules have come into contact with your nose. Not an appetizing thought, I know. :)

Wiktionary:
Particulate:
"any solid or liquid suspended in air or free to suspend in air"
I think an invisible gas does not qualify.
Particulate matter normally a least creates a haze, e.g. like smoke, water vapour (tiny droplets), etc.
I was planning to go to BKK 27 Apr 08 to 8 May 08. I had planned to go with a buddy from work. I am married, he is single. Well, because he has a big mouth everyone in our office now knows I will be going to BKK. Now I am humilated and worried that word may somehow get back to my wife. So, now I must cancel. Lesson learned, keep mongering activities to myself.
Thanks for listening.
This year Songkran celebrations saw 400 people killed and about 3000 were seriously injured in hospital.
So Songkran is a severe danger to your health. My GF stayed indoors as much as possible.

Precisely, if you monger with a buddy and you are married, you either better trust him a lot or make sure he has as much to lose as you do. Mutually assured destruction does work to keep mouths closed.

Not always, I've been burnt...
Another warning is just because someone is an ISG member does NOT mean they know how to keep their mouths shut either. For some reason some think they can spread all over Thai that you are pulling girls when they damn well know you have a TGF.

Yes, I have almost been caught on that one with TGF. As I recall when I took her to Livingstones one time , somebody (1Ball think) asked me where I got her from in front of her. Luckily she didn't hear it so no damage was done and it was an innocent mistake. But then later I had another anxious moment with another ISG member.
Lesson learned - it is best to keep both wives and TGF's away from fellow ISG members unless you really trust them to not bring up sensitive subjects. And since the TGF speaks excellent english, any conversation can be dangerous.
you think she didn't hear - she probably didn't want to hear it.
depends on whether the "other" guy knew you or not and whether she knew it (or was just making conversation)
women aren't exactly stupid and the thai grapevine travels at the speed of tongue.

after an ex like a bloodhound, i am now super cautious. thought it was risky to take gf to belgian chocolate shop in suk near to soi 33. you never know which girl you might bump into.
the other important one: "never be seen walking in public with any girl except the gf".
and wear a disguise when going to or exiting any really sus locations:
fake moustache, hat and dark glasses/eye-patch ;)
As always, they are meant to be viewed in order, i.e., 10, 10A, 10B, 11, 11A, 12, 13, etc.
