After so many reports, I think anyone should be honored to hang out with you and honestly these girl will do whatever price they get at the time. You guys should know that by now. Thanks for the enlightment. A lot of people get scared off my such comments as I almost was then I realized that any area can be dangerous if you don't pay attention to your surrounding. Also, once in a while, you guys have to grow some balls, stand tall, and don't be afraid of anything. If they mug you, let them.
Sure Tom,
How long have you been singing that Wimpy song ! Who do you work for ! Since you´ve been singing that song hundreds of "gringos" have been to La Mayorista, the Medellin Mansion in El Poblado was robbed and the side bars from my car were ripped off my car in Laureles along with the right side mirror ! Meanwhile I´ve been parking in La Mayorista for over a year without the slightest incident ! When was the last time you were there ?
A little bit hard for anything to happen in la Mayorista when there is a police station right up the street and police patrol the street up and down the whole night ! In addition it´s a 24/7 spot and people are out and about day and night, a little hard to "mug" somebody ! I spend many days in a week in La Mayorista with many a "gringos" and you´re the only one I´ve ever heard any fear from ! Come down and hang out with me and I´ll "protect" You if you´re really so afraid ! I don´t believe you are because you are never there, hence your opinion has no "merit" ! I believe you work or have a vested interest in one of the "high end" lodgings in El Poblado and find it necessary to trash La Mayorista !
My offer stands, come talk to me, I´m not afraid, all the guys know me, a lot of "gringos" from this post hang out with me out there ! Although they don´t feel any need for protection I´ll be glad to offer my protection to you so that you can come to "know" the real Mayorista ! It´s not El Poblado, nobody claims it is, but it´s not El Centro either, it´s a "stratus" 3, right in the middle of 1-6 !
If you are just a "high end kind of guy" and have money to burn, more power to you, but you don´t have to be casting unfounded fears about La Mayorista when it was the Medellin Mansion that got robbed, right smack in the middle of your prescious El Poblado ! If you change your mind, come to my World, La Mayorista, you might find yourself pleasently surprised ! I might even introduce you to Karolina for 25kcop instead of the 150k-200k she goes for at The Mansion, and a few other girls from the Medellin Mansion !

Just got into town tonight, would love to know where la Mayorista is located. Sounds like a really interesting spot. Dragging tonight but looking forward to scouting tomorrow.
I'm more of a day time Monger, always have been just not a late night guy. Frank your place sounds interesting, could you PM me with some contact information please.
I'm mid 40's laid back, well traveled and really bad spanish. Though 5 days of spanish only GF last week helped. Being half deaf doesn't help, but the Cartagena hearing aids have been a big plus.
Tip of the day don't eat the lettuce! I was warned but chose to ignore, Dumb Ass! I normally eat everything and have for the last 7 weeks but jumped out and bit my ass last Friday. My GF wouldn't touch a salad. Now I know why I am still recovering it was a brutal Friday night. Haven't been that sick since Honduras 1991. Know it's bad when you can compared to 18 years ago.
Stay safe and have fun

Frank Casio !
I work for no one. I am retired and live in estrato 4, Barrio Santa Mónica, Comuna La América. There is a difference between fear mongering and reality. I regularly speak to Paisas who shop in la Mayorista weekly. If anything the less desirable areas in Medellín have become more dangerous with the economic problems facing the world.
People I know have met you and like you. However, your seeming lack of common sense and your antics on other boards leave me wondering.
Unless you are with them at all times, Mayorista is no place for a rookie. My first night in Medellín was spent in a love hotel in Mayorista in 2004. And I have been back a few times over the years. I just don't care for the area.
Tom, Tom, Tom,
Of course La Mayorista is not for normal girls, it's for "hookers"! Regular girls walk out by the street in order not to be identified with them! As always you're a little off base! I never said La Mayorista was for normal girls! And I don't know what all girls you've been talking to, because even some of the Taxi drivers don't know about La Mayorista, let alone all the women you're talking about that fear it! Very few normal girls in Medellin know about La Mayorista, but they all know about "La Zona de La Moda", one of the most famous shopping areas in Medellin for jeans and clothing of all sorts at bargain prices! It's like the outlets in the USA, everybody from Medellin goes there, and it's only a couple blocks from La Mayorista! Not to mention La Mayorista, a huge Farmer's Market just up the street with over 1/2 a dozen banks an huge SuperMarkets!
I don't like your antics either from that other site, I thought I recognized you, but I forgive you! You are more than welcome to my side of town, it's not as bad as you think! Keep reading other people's report and maybe you will not be afraid anymore! I do get rookies here all the time, most of them are, and doctors and little accountants, etc. "No Problema"! I also give a pretty thorough Orientation and offer my Wingman services free for My place guests! You're welcome any time, Tom!

Frank Casio!
I am always much more vigilant and aware of my surroundings in mayorista. Even when I walk across the street to take a leak by the lined up trucks. Telling somebody not to keep their wits about them in mayorista I feel is misleading. For Christs sake its like Tijuana. I'm with TOMTOM 100% on this one.
Nyc you talking rob or mug? Guys got a gun, he can rob me. Yes sir and have a nice evening. Guys going to try and mug me and rough me up. Nope already have a set of balls and we are going the distance, and for gods sake don't let me get you down. I don't like a thief!
I am really the most laid back guy and never puff up and start shit. I learned along time ago there are allot of people that don't look like bad asses that really are and they don't need a gun.
So I let allot of shit pass, but try to mug me and I will have an attitude.
An a guy with a knife against two is stupid or crazy but you already have him out flanked. Never roll over and play the *****!
I haven't been able to pull a single chica out of the Centro strip clubs because they all insist on being paid in advance. Yesterday, a Mayorista chica fled my apartment when I refused to cough up the dough "adalante".
If a girl wants to get paid in advance, I figure she won't respect the deal we've made (BBBJ, time she's going home.), so I stubbornly refuse. Paying upfront is a major issue in this town and it's seriously affecting my stats.
Comments?
Loso
Hi Loso,
Glad you hear you're in mde now. You are 100% correct to not pay in advance. I never did and got along famously, but I usually told the girl that payment would be afterwards before we left for my apt. I typically take street girls though. For casa girls, I'd meet them after work or on their days off and also would pay afterwards then as well.
Mongers,
Just got back from another fine trip to Medellin, and as such it's time for a summary and some relevant comments regarding some different areas. On Friday and Saturday nights, I hung out with a group of three Poblado non-pros that I met at my bar in Buenos Aires a while back. We went to a fairly new club located in Barrio Colombia called Karma. This was a very nice club, to my understanding one of the smaller and more exclusive clubs for for upper class Paisas. There was a ratio of about 3:2 female/male. I do not think they admit male-only groups, and there was a great scene of about 60-65 high-end patrons, age 21-32 roughly. Interestingly enough, one of the owners of the club recognized me at BodyTech Vizcaya on Monday and asked me what I thought of his club, explained it opened six months ago, etc.
Saturday night we went to La Mayoria in Sabeneta, which is a sort of traditional Colombia music venue with 30-40 year old groups and couples mainly. There is a dancing horse show and some good singers and dancers from several styles of Colombian music. A little later, we went to the adjacent disco, which had a Mexican theme and was a fun and nice club, I think its name was Puebla. Sunday night we just went out to dinner at the Cuban restaurant in Parque Lleras (which was terrible) and then to a place called Tropical Cocktails, also located in Sabeneta.
On Monday my buddy and I went to Loutron's for some nice massage and sex action. I went with a curvy Paisa working under the name Angelica, and she was a great performer. Very, very sensual, GFE, great massage and truly worked hard to please me in every way. As I stated in a previous post the price is $185k for an hour, a bottle of water cost $5k and a Corona $15k.
As far as the Mayorista is concerned, it is not a particularly dangerous place in my opinion or experience. It is, however, filled with mostly low quality girls and the male customers are sleazy truck drivers; I certainly would not want to share the girls with sleazy truck drivers.compared to what is available at Loutron, Fase II, or the internet, the overwhelming majority of girls that work at Mayorista are out of shape and nasty/dirty. Generally, but with exceptions, you get what you pay for in the world of Colombian mongering. I have never met Frank Casio and therefore I have no opinion on the services he provides. In terms of the really low end mongering in general, I don't really understand why a guy would travel all the way to Colombia and want to have sex with low end street-level chicas for $20 USD or less. For $60-$80 USD you can get a beautiful, well groomed and maintained chica from either the internet, a club such as F II (which I don't really like much), and of course Loutron's.

Hello,
I will be going to MDE in five weeks. Can any one tell me where I can find the model type prepagos? Someone per say that looks like Andrea Rinco (Selena Spice).
Many Thanks

What about Laureles? Is it safer to stay in? I know there's a penthouse. I really like frank's wingman services but after reading all these comments I am a little unsure about mayorista. It sounds a little like Rio de Janeiro in some parts which is scary.
Mansion, Laureles Penthouse, or Mayorista in Frank's place. I really like frank but I really like the laureles area shown in the photos of malodr and the mansion seems really nice but it is really expensive. I a new and my experience is limited to Canada, USA, Aruba. Basically tourist destinations where it is really easy.
So please give some advice.
Guy with a knife or gun or any sharp object. Getting whatever money I have on me. Dude it's not worth it. No amount of money is worth your life.

Never roll over and play the *****!
I am extensively trained in real world combat, including knife and gun defense. No matter how much of a bad ass you are, you just never know how something is going to play out. If you went after a loved one of mine, there is no length I wouldn't go to. But to get into any fight, particularly one involving a weapon, for the few bucks in my pocket is just not worth it to me. We all have to pick what is worth fighting for, for ourselves. Just my perspective and a little food for thought.
