I would add some local HK news, that the boneheaded HK government announced last week that, for contracts for maids ("domestic helpers") signed from 1 September 2008, the 9,600 HKD levy that has been charged to employers for the past five or six years, would be waived for two years. The result: HK employers about to sign contracts prior to September 1 have now backed off signing them; maids have been sacked (the employers plan to hire a new maid after 1 Septmeber, when they don't have to pay the levy); and Indonesia has now stopped sending maids to HK until further notice, and its expected the Philippines will follow.

Yesterday, realizing the chaos they created by failing to think ahead in even the most basic manner, the government hurriedly announced that the levy roll-back will take effect from 1 August instead of 1 September.

After RTFF, I decided that my first taste of Hong Kong would be using the services of ******.com simply because it was cheap and convenient. Seriously, I had asked a cab driver about sex in the city and he started giving me quotes of HK$900 and up. When I saw the prices listed on 141, it became a no brainer. (Aside: To whomever invented this website, you deserve a nobel prize! ) It only took me (first timer) a few minutes to figure out the site and how it was organized. Was yesterday for a meeting overnight in Hong Kong. Stayed at Langham Place, Mongkok.

Glad you had a good time but if you thought a girl in Sai Wan was amazing, boy your head would pop off if you knew what was really out there. 141 girls in the Sai Wan/Sheung Wan area have the correct reputation of girls who are over the hill and can't compete against the new crops.
