Pattaya Reports

..... In either case, Steve would have had time to go to the police or take matters in his own hands...
Sorry Banana Boi are you living on the moon? - go to Police, if some one want to cheat or kill you? - Police is the main Mafia in Thailand. You are a dreamer. !

Just hope that you never need Police, when you life here.
I have been with a Thai GF for over 11 years. She is a moderately devote Buddhist. Is not even keen to kill a mosquito. ....My GF does not even know how much money I have. .
I never said that it's impossible to have a long term relationship with a Thai girl, but you will agree with me that the percentage is very low (I don't think you are the norm).

I remember the first time I went to Pattaya back in the 1988, I met an old american guy who was in Vietnam during the 60's. He retired in Pattaya and lived with a beautiful Thai girl who was taking very good care of him. I still remember his words. " The secret for a "safe take care" by a Thai woman is simple: Never buy a house or share a bank account, never let the girl know your financial situation but give her money day by day. Since she get your money day by day she will need you alive and she will always do anything possible to let you stay healthy".

He died at 98 in peace.

Through all the years I always remembered his words, trying to act in this way.
This happens A LOT more than we think. Guys who let girls know anything whatsoever about their financial situation or put bikes / cars / houses / land / savings in the name of their Thai GFs are just begging for trouble or disappointment. The best marks are actually not white guys, but rather Japanese. When I was in the Philippines, I read story after story of Japanese husbands who were quietly killed without reporting their deaths so that government pension checks would keep coming. There were guys who would come back from a trip to their home country only to find that "their" property had been sold by the wife and she had absconded back to the province. And as the story shows, it is easier than most think to get away with such a crime. Another less foreigner or two does not mean anything at all in Asia. Local families trump the foreigner every time. If the family of this Steve guy knew which side of justice was up, they would simply ommission an appropriate punishment for the girl they had treated like a daughter. Enjoy Thailand, AsianRain.
I'm happy that a dude like Asian Rain, an old Thai-Asian veteran, wrote this report. In the end it is as I thought. The old school users got same point of view.
Since she get your money day by day she will need you alive and she will always do anything possible to let you stay healthy".
Yes but what if you want to find out if she really cares for you. Then you have to set her up with house and everything, and see if she still wants you, or at least has feeling of obligation to look after you in your old age.

If she gets her house in her name, she still has no reason to need you done away with. Joint names or a share is more dangerous I think. So I don't really fully agree with Asian Rain.

Anyway after 10 years I start to trust my GF. I don't think she will kill me. Permanence is never guaranteed.
I would say the vast majority of dudes I have known through the years had bad experiences with bar-girls GFs. That being said the success rate with "good girls" is really not that much better. Yes, some couples have been together for many years, but I would say for the most part that is due to the man being far more flexible and being able to adapt and of course foot the bill.
In my country, a Farang wife can take you for a lot more money. I think guys just need to take a long time, be sensible, and do not set yourself up in a situation where others profit too much from your demise.

Best of all, no wife, no GF.
Let's take an average working girl who works solely at iBar. Let's say she works 5-7 days per week and gets barfined roughly half the time. So we have 3 sessions at 2000-2500 each = 6k-7500 per week = 300-375k per year. 800k is attainable in 2+ years. Now if we're talking high end gogo girls like I go for where Japanese pay them 5-10k per night and they have a Sponsor, 800k is easily achieved in 1 year. No girl with that income is coming after me personally for my tiddly winks money.
Bananaboi, if you take as average thai income the one of an IBar lady, sorry to say but you have no clue what you're talking about.

Next time you travel to Thailand, get your ass out of the sex trade venues (because that's all you seem to know) and see how normal thai people is living. Then you'll understand that 800 K baht is a huge amount of money for them.
One would have to think there is at least 10-20 good girls out of 30 million.
This what any "fall in love farangs" think. My girl? She's not like the others. She's among the 20 out of 30 milions.
This is a Catch 22 situation. Obviously if a guy lives in Thailand and does not work a girl can easily assume he has some sort of sound financial base. Given the Visa requirements the Thai government has now outed the man that he has a minimum of 700 k baht in order to retire here. There is no way to hide that from a girl.

Personally I am not in Thailand to get a girlfriend. In fact, the last thing I want is a girlfriend or a wife in Thailand or anywhere else.

They have to constantly give out to sustain their day to day life style. Four or five long times last week still broke this week. Also when one has money everyone connected to them has money.
Excuse me sir, you've been living in Thailand for so many years and you still haven't realized that most thais will never be able to make 800 K baht during their lifetime?
I think you exaggerate but only slightly. However I should have said not a lot for Farangs. It doesn't seem enough to be worth dying over. If I pay for a house for my GF and me for 800 K, on her land, she can just tell me to [CodeWord140] off if she doesn't need me any more.

It's the only way for the girl to come back to the village stand tall. It's the proof she did not waste her time in Pattaya having fun with friends. She did what she did for the family, so anyone in the village will pay respect to them.

You asking me how can you find out if she really care about you. Very simple. Tell her you have a limited budget and no plan for you to buy her a house.

To be honest with you, I really don't understand why you are here. I'm glad you are happily engaged with a Thai so why wasting your time with people who want just pay for having sex and that's all? I could understand all the fire towards me if we were in a normal Thai Forum like "Mix couple experience.com" or "Thai lifestyle for foreigner.net" , but I really don't here.

Telling in a forum - mostly visited by mongers - that the best way to enjoy Pattaya is to pay girls without engaging any kind of shit-fake lovestory, is it so bad? Is it so far from reality?

So with all respect , who's the intruder here?
One of my favorite bargirls, with very hot body, was working weekends only and intermittently in a gogo to finance her studies and her younger sister's studies as well in another province (not in Bangkok). I do believe she really is a degree student in Accounting. Then she has stopped gogo working for 2 or 3 months now. So I wonder where her money is coming from. She could easily be receiving regular monthly payments from one or more guys now. Some guys are willing to support girls so they won't have to work as a hooker. She is very pretty and hot but in a classy way. Used hook a customer always within a few minutes, no effort. I hate it because she doesn't show up to work the bar anymore. However she is a horny type that likes sex, so I don't see her going too long without a fuck. Her LINE App profile pic is currently a Barbie doll wearing skimpy sexy lingerie. So I Guess that LINE account ID is for her customers or guys, and maybe a different one for her family etc. Finally she returned LINE app message late last night, but with a one liner. So no clue what is going on with her. Who the fuck is financing her? Shit! Must have a boyfriend or benefactor or something. Could be a rich guy. I hate it when guys manage to get hot girls off the market. I don't care if they send money but the girl still works.
Don't worry, I think she will soon be back again. Most girls will for different reasons:

1. She can't keep up with the requirements the sponsor puts on her.

2. She want more money. No matter how much the sponsor sends, she always want even more and can easily get it through her bar / agogo / freelance work by trying to cheat the sponsor. This happens all the time, over and over and over again!

3. She gets bored by not working / seeing her co-workers - "sisters". And horny by not fxxxxxg. Solution? Back to work and have her own money, without anyone having demands or telling her what to do / not to do, and have some good party and some good fuck!

I used to meet a girl who after a while got a foreign sponsor. He demanded her not to work and not to see other guys. To be a "good lady". Good for her to get money for nothing but boring. As soon as she felt horny she made up a small fight with the sponsor, turned of the phone "in anger", called me and had some fun. After some hours she turned on the phone again just to find like 10 "I'm sorry baby, forgive me" messages from the sponsor. Did he dare to ask what she had been doing during the time her phone was turned of? No way!

Noi, 1.000 baht ST in my place times ago.

Same girl.
If I google the average yearly salary in the US I get a straight answer of just over $50 k.
I just heard a report on CNN that the median income in the US is $56,000 per year. That mean's half the people make more than that and half the people make less.
Yes but what if you want to find out if she really cares for you. Then you have to set her up with house and everything, and see if she still wants you, or at least has feeling of obligation to look after you in your old age.
If you have ever given a chick money or set them up with houses or whatever else then there will be no sure fire way of knowing if she really cares for you. Where did doing this shit come from anyway? I have had plenty of Thai chicks/girlfriends that I have not had to give one silver baht to. (I pay hookers, not girlfriends.) Very easy to know whether they care about you or not in that situation. It makes more sense using your money to rent pussy than trying to buy love. Besides, if I wanted to take care of somebody then I have a long list of family members that I know could use extra money rather than forking it over to some chick that I am fucking.

And despite what Marco thinks, there are girls who are different. My neighbor has been together with her boyfriend for 6 years. He comes every 2 or 3 months. They met when she was working a retail job in Pattaya. I assume he pays everything because she sits on her ass everyday. She said he bought her a house back home. She has the place in Pattaya, a car, and a bike. He sends money for her to pay the bills back home as well. Did I fuck her? Of course. But that was an exception in her otherwise boring life. She wakes up everyday, sits around watching TV, sometimes goes to temple, goes to walk the hill at 4 pm, goes back to sit around in her room, and falls off to sleep about 10 pm. Still, I would recommend 100% not sending money to a chick. She got along before you and she will have no problem getting along after you.

As I said before, a buddy of mine (retired guy close to 70) said the way he tested his girl out was that he acted sick for a while, even to where his girl would have to wipe his ass for him. After that, he acted as if he had ran out of money. His girl went out and got a job to take care of both of them. After a while he knew that he had found a good one. They are together until this day.
