And, just like that, it seems I am then acclimated with the local time and will thereafter wake up by 9 AM, and I will want to sleep soon after midnight. As mentioned, you can combat this (going to bed at midnight) to some extent by taking a nap in the late afternoon or early evening.

But while I can acclimate to Thai time in a day or two without trying, when I go home, it take two weeks! It is a killer.[/QUOTE]I'm from the US also. I mean I'm tired in the US at midnight or before. I guess my point is assuming one adjusts to the time differential. Still. Staying up until after midnight. Or 2, 3, 4 like some of you do for the discos (which I'd like to do) is very difficult, if not impossible for me. Heck, I can't stay up until that late at home. Why would I be able to do it in Pattaya? Oh sure. There's a little more motivation, ha. But still, tired is tired.

Not to care about the next punter or the previous is equal to not care about the market. Overpaying and over tipping contributes to price hikes. Price hikes are not good to anyone.

For most punters a main reason to come to Thailand is that the ladies services are affordable. What happens when more and more punters thinks that the prices here are not affordable anymore?

My first night in Pattaya: Hit the Walking street. Immediately it reminded of the one I had experienced in Phuket years ago, but on acid and massively longer. Started off with walking street, christening my Gigi bar tour in Peppermint. Cheap beer, decent selection of girls but not many seats near the stage, still however miles better than what I had in Phuket. Here I met up with a Swiss guy who knew the city much better than I did. On to baccara with him: two floors, still cheap beer, and nice staff. Second floor has glass stage through which you can see the bottom floor, girls here were shorter and in scanty uniform wear, likely to appeal to Asian customers. Here an American expat guy suggested. We both join him at his favorite go go though with much more expensive drinks. The bar was called sapphire, and was on a side street from the walking street. My jaw dropped when I went In. Proportion of girls to customers that I had never seen before. 3 stages /4 with couches chairs, white colours, and perhaps 30-40 girls at least, loved the atmosphere, French maid dress, flamenco dancing on stage with matching music. Bar fines In walking street Gogos are about 1000 and the girls can go upwards of 4000. My friend then took me to soy phukao where we stopped at a beer bar and this girl serving me caught my eye, my Swiss friend insisted on negotiating on my behalf. 300 BF 1500 for all night. Beautiful dark issan girl, amused by my attempts to speak Thai, passionate, bath together in my room, patient, playful, skilful with her legs. Amazing, stayed till 12 the next day. Even had her own bike to drive here. I adore this place. As easy going as phuket with bars that run all night. Abundance of girls better and more available than Bangkok. Prices better than both. No place like this, hope to see angeles city too one day though I'm curious to hear people's preference. T

T[/QUOTE]In my limited experience Angeles City ladies give a more consistently better service than those in Pattaya. As for threesomes there is no comparison, AC much, much better.

Wake up around 10 pm shower shave and grab something to eat. You should be good to go after that.

I haven't had a single star fish yet. I feel bad for the blokes who get them, but it doesn't change my approach or outlook on the hobby. You think I don't care about the market in Pattaya, and you'd be right. There is always another destination I could go if I stop enjoying Thailand. Right now, I think their prices are fine. The day I believe they are too expensive, I'll move on to a new playground, simple as that.

In your final sentence, you asked a question with a very obvious answer. The mongers will move on! I bet most of the gentlemen on this board could name several others cities worth a try.

Now, some of you actually live in Pattaya. I understand your concern with prices and tipping. That's a different situation than I am in, so I can't approach it in the same manner as you lucky fellows. I'm here for a short time, and I want to enjoy every minute. Stressing out over tips isn't something I'm willing to do. I want to treat Pattaya like a dream, not like a business transaction.

Happiness is the goal, formality is an obstacle.

You are right Pattaya is still one of my favorite place in the world to visit, price of WG have gone up a lot but so is everywhere else in Asia I been coming here for over 20 yr now about 2 time a yr and I never been disappointed not too many place in the world have so many girls and option every more.
