Seoul Odyssey - My First Trip
You know how these “first time” visits sometimes start. 1 day lead time no way to prepare, everything happening in a rush.
This is exactly how my first trip to Seoul started around 2 weeks ago. After checking in at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, I connected the laptop and checked out the forum. To my surprise I found out that almost every other word used was “crackdown”. Sure – crackdowns happen everywhere, what should be different here? Despite my best efforts, I couldn’t retrieve any useful information precise enough to locate an address I could hand to a taxi driver. Time ran out as my colleagues waited downstairs in the lobby to bring me to the office. I decided to send some PMs to senior Member in the Seoul forum hoping to get some useful information the same day.
I returned back to the hotel around 10 pm and check my PMs: Hurray! 2 PMs, both from the same author, proposed a sauna place at the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon. The price estimation was 200.000 Won. No time to loose I rushed out of my room, counting my cash in the elevator. Unfortunately I had only around 160.000 left so I decided to get extra cash at the ATM. First surprise there – the ATM gets shut down at 9.30 pm. I asked the Concierge about the next closest ATM. He called the Hotel next door but they had their ATM also switched off. Luckily I saw a Bank sign just across the street and tried there. They would not accept my card. I started to get somewhat nervous as nobody in the hotel would be able to give me an alternative. So I started to walk along the roads around the hotel to find a functioning ATM. It took me almost an hour until I finally found one that worked, inside a Metro station. Out of the station – into the next available Cab.
Amazingly there were crowds of drunken Koreans on the street – very interesting impression. The Cab driver knew the place and took off. We crossed a river and went up a hill then he dropped me off in front of the Hamilton Hotel. Interesting enough, there was a police station just across the street from the hotel and many police cars were driving around this area. Whatever….. just right hand side from the hotel’s entrance door I saw the Massage sign saying “only foreigners” – now that sounded just like the place I was looking for. The reception guy offered a menu card, with the most expensive type of massage being 120.000 Won. I told him I wanted the 200.000 Won Massage but he said there is no such massage. There was one Indian guy there, obviously also a potential customer who indicated that the place would not offer such kind of services anymore.
Frustrated as hell I left the place. I started to walk down the road a bit when I heard steps approaching me from behind – the Indian guy. He stopped me and explained that the recent crackdown had changed everything and it would be hard to find what I was looking for. He suggested to take a Black Taxi (because they speak English) and ask the driver for a massage place where “Special massages” are offered. I took me almost another 20 minutes until I found an available black cab and did as the guy suggested. The driver thought about my request for 30 seconds and asked me whether the “Gangnam” district would be okay – I almost laughed out loud, as this was where my hotel was located. So off we went and the driver dropped me off a tiny little side street with a lot of interesting places.
Several Hotels or Motels with car ports where the entrance was covered by some sort of blinds to avoid people walking by can actually see the faces of the person standing inside. You would only be able to see the legs of the people inside. The taxi driver dropped me off at a massage place with a similar setup. I entered the place and was asked to change shoes. By that time it was already past midnight but I would get what I wanted in just a couple of more minutes – at least I thought I would……
After 2 minutes of waiting the reception lady started to point at the clock on the wall. She obviously tried to tell me that I would have to wait some more time. When asking how much more time, she told me maybe around 30 minutes. I had no plans to wait that long and left the place – frustration level 2.
Back on the street I decided to check out the area in more detail. First thing that showed me I was a t the right place was tons of address cards with photos of girls where lying on the ground. My mood got somewhat better and I saw that 2-3 girls where standing around as if they would wait for somebody. As I watched one of the girls, a guy came walking out behind the blind of a car park spoke to her and they disappeared inside the car park.
Another one was there all on her own playing with her mobile phone. In Shanghai where I live, this is a very typical behavior for semi professionals. The moment I started to walk her direction, a guy walked over from the other side of the street and they disappeared in one of the car parks. Damned - frustration level 3.
I decided to check out one building at the end of that small street. It had some of these rotating white red and blue columns in front, and I remembered that the Indian guy had mentioned them as an indication for action – “the more columns rotate the more you can get”. I entered the building and something seemed to be going on down in the basement. I walked down the stairs and opened one of the doors - nobody there. I opened the other one where a girl was looking at me with no indication to invite me in. So I decided to leave and walked back to the place the taxi had dropped me off. When I entered they still indicated I would have to wait, this time until 1.30 am.
I thought it might be best to just call it a night and leave back to the hotel, then decided to give it one more try at one of the “car park places”. A friendly guy cam out of his little cabin and asked me in. We walked upstairs to a reception area and the girls there seemed to be very nice and friendly also to foreigners. I said I was looking for a special massage and they quoted 220.000 Won. I gave them the money and the led me upstairs on more level into a room with a massage bed, a side board with microwave and all kinds of utensils and a bathroom with toilet, whirlpool shower and an inflatable mattress.
The girl that entered the room 5 minutes later was just what I was looking for, petite nice ass and nice firm boobs. Looking at the time it was already 1.30 and she did not look very enthusiastic. I barely got a smile from her. She asked me to undress and lay down on the bed. After I did, she applied some kind of facial mask, which I found kind of funny – never happened before. Meanwhile she filled the bathtub with water. After removing the mask, she asked me to turn over and she stated to massage my back – not a really great massage. She then asked me follow her into the bathroom where she showered me and made me sit down inside the bathtub where she joined me. She started some rubbing and some minutes of BBBJ – nothing spectacular. When I just started to feel a bit more comfortable she asked me to get out of the bathtub again and onto the mattress. There she did all kind of body rubbing with lots of soap and foam – kind of nice but also too rushed. After one more shower, we finally ended up back on the bed where she practiced some fire & ice and got on top of me. She realized that I wasn’t about to come as fast as she obviously hoped, she asked to change positions and get on top of her. After I shot my load, she cleaned me and asked me to dress again. The entire business was way too rushed and lasted all together around 80 minutes.
I left the same morning back to China. Next time I really want to be better prepared. So if any of you can shed some light on the scene, please PM me with Details.
