Most girls won't pay attention but some will ask 150 K or even 200 K (always too much for me). I've had a few accept for 100 K, but the service is transactional and not worth the time or money.

I've only had hyugyetel and massage shops. Those are severely hit and miss. Anmas are better. I've not had any truly bad experiences with anmas. But if I am going to spend 300 k+, I am going to massage republic.

I contacted about half dozen places on Opstar with one taker and one reply that they were fully booked today (future potential? I replied to the place that was a taker to find out it's a massage shop on the fourth floor of an office building. Massage places are usually nothing special, since you can just walk in anyway. Officetels are the places to go and I've been able to get a total of one FS officetel in 2. 5 years- as a foreigner, the others will usually shut you down upfront.

Anyway, I got the address to the massage shop and showed up with 140 K. At a low price such as this and FS being offered per the Opstar website, I figured it to be Chinese or an older Korean woman. The latter being the correct guess.

The woman who walked in was pleasant looking, her body was nice and her attitude was decent. I had high hopes, it was looking optimistic. Maybe I could get some wild DATY, 69, possibly even BBFSCIP.

She started the massage and it was the dry, over the towel type- the kind I absolutely hate. However, knowing that most Korean providers don't use oil or aroma massages, I resigned myself to hoping for the best. After a few minutes of this, wishing that she would just get to the main course and making every attempt to signal otherwise, she didn't (or wouldn't) pick up the cues.

Finally, after 30 minutes or so of terrible massage, we got to business. She took off her clothes and her body wasn't as nice as I hoped. The attitude became a hurried affair, she wasn't down for much DATY, but indicated she liked having her brownstar tongued. Not exactly big on this from someone I don't know, I kept trying to go back to DATY to no avail. After some back and forth, I gave up and put on the cover to finish it. It took a lot of effort and she had to eventually do it by hand, but the deed was finally done.

All in all, another disappointing effort and definitely not a keeper.

Ten years ago north of Seoul, anmas were pretty common and access was fairly easy. These days, I've tried a few south of Seoul and have been shutdown straight up for being a foreigner. The service was never really that great, anyway, so no big loss.

There were a few '7's and when I stopped and talked to a couple, the going rate was 100 K. One was a little older and looked pretty good with large fake breasts and decent body. I left with the intention to revisit in the morning when going for a run. Around 5 AM when I did run through, every shop was closed, the lights were off, and all had gone home or sleep or whatever they do when they stop working. Oh well, guess not this time, but at least I got to see it and report.

In the old days there would be some real stunners working, but this time wasn't the case. There also were a LOT of third country nationals in the area, hanging around, walking through, negotiating with the women, so it had a different vibe than previous times. There were even shops where the women were Asian, but not Korean (or Thai or Chinese), which was unusual- and a first that I'd seen.

The takeaway is that it's there and it's still running, for the most part.

Reached out to about half dozen providers on opmart and received a bite from one, two outright rejections from others for being a foreigner (at least they were polite and apologized). I jumped at the one taker and received instructions for an officetel, which may or may not be a good sign.

Hoppped in the car and started driving, thinking about past experiences- good and bad, prepared to bolt to Plan be- my sure thing locally. Arrived at the location, given the code and went to the room, and after ringing the bell this gorgeous girl answers the door. Absolute stunner, if she wasn't a 10, you could round up to it. She looked like the girl I used to see in 588 ten years who was also amazing and let me go all the way.

Unfortunately, this girl did not. In other news, there was also a report in the Korean media that OPs, Hyugetels, Anmas, etc. are much harder to enter for first-timers (even Korean first-timers), because of continued police crackdowns. What I read was pretty direct in stating that new phone numbers are barred service. In other words, if your number isn't already in one of the databases, you won't be allowed to book. Management is simply too afraid that you might be a cop. Sucks, doesn't it?

This isn't to say that some new place might not relax their rules and let you make an appointment. It's certainly possible, but it's getting harder each and every day. Even compared to the last time I reported on the industry, there are even fewer ads and way less turnover, i.e., fewer new ads popping up.

That being said, I always try to book when I see a new Hyugetel on the odd chance that they're more open to new clientele. Well, this summer I made bookings at two new Hyugetels within a week of their openings. Both were great, offering all the services I like. I liked one so much that I visited twice. Unfortunately, both disappeared within a month. Police crackdown? Your guess is as good as mine.

The woman who came in was very thick, but not really fat. The session was decent, so I decided to go back yesterday to try again. This time a much more attractive woman with a nice body and great backside provided her services. She was willing FS for KRW 50 K and then an extra KRW 50 K for BBFSCIP.

Don't be afraid to walk away, there are always others.

The worst part is the time it takes. After walking in, paying the fee, going to the room, and stripping down, you end up taking 15,20, or 30 minutes. When one walks in that's fat and unappealing, you have to request a different one and wait another 10 to 15 minutes or just walk away.

The two major train stations in Seoul are Seoul Station & Cheongnyangni. A train from one of these stations to almost anywhere in mainland South Korea is possible. Express bus routes from Seoul to all the major city destinations are available from the Seoul Express Bus Station just south of the Banpo Bridge in Gangnam. Go to the stations or use the web / apps for Korail or Kobus to arrange tickets in advance.

Once in a major city, it is fairly trivial to use the local subway, buses, taxis, or Ubers to get around. Kakao also has a number of mobility apps for locals and foreigners. For example, K. Honestly, the best bet is an anma (massage place) or maybe some Thai massage places. OP's will eventually require you to speak to someone. They will give you the general location, then call you and tell you the room number or the actual building and room. Messaging sometimes works, but usually follow up with a phone call and then they might tell you politely 'no foreigners'. It's not personal, just the way it is.
