Good thing I was trolling, I didn't know you posted this to me.
Everybody get your hands up. It's a mother fucking thread jack!
Mr. WRX,
Let's start with simple definitions. I see an arrangement as no more than different type of relationship (I. E. Business relationship, friendship, competitor). And I now have a better understanding of how you are using the word USE (my question was intended to be rhetorical and was written in jest). I see that USE can be both mutual and desired.
And I can see USE as mutual too. But I also know certain aspects of mutual USE may be or can be UNdesirable as well as desired.
But is it really that hard to remember that if I'm nothing more than a walking ATM, then they are nothing more than cum depositories? For me personally, no! I have no problem remembering what Slick Rick had to say about the matter. And I'm quite comfortable with that type of relationship and all other types (presuming of course they lead to sex and my CPO stays within my targeted range).
Understood in what's applicable to you. For other folks they may have their own interests, motivations within their relationships / arrangements. It might resemble yours to a certain degree, or may differ in other aspects.
Now, it is the rare relationship that starts with both parties on an equal footing. (And yes I know you are a stickler for precise language. I read what you wrote. Continue to read on). Often times imbalance precipitates the initiation of the relationship in the first place. Mere circumstance can precipitate "unwanted imbalances" and by its very nature any "arrangement" is by it's very nature deceptive.
Sounds reasonable to me up to the point before, "Mere circumstance can precipitate "unwanted imbalances" and by its very nature any "arrangement" is by it's very nature deceptive. In fact deception is required and demanded. ".
The thing though, I'm not simply a stickler when it comes to language. I pay attention to and apply CONTEXT and APPLICATION to information. By doing that, I try to see where something may be true in a certain context or application, and also where it may not be true or applicable in a different context or situation. I don't pay attention to only conclusions that are made, but also the foundation and criteria that is being used to support those conclusions. Your statement IMO is mainly applicable to a situation or situations that fit the criteria. In which you provide an example, that fits (further down in your post). Alone, without prequalifiers that general conclusion / statement may not exactly be valid in every relationship / arrangement.
Like, if we were to apply your statement to a different type of relationship / arrangement, it may not be applicable. For instance, a different mutual use relationship / arrangement. A boss and the bosses employee. (you can substitute man and woman if you choose to) That relationship can be considered something that does not start off on equal footing, right?. And yes there is an imbalance that initiates their relationship in the 1st place, Right?. In addition, mere circumstance during the course of their interaction can precipitate unwanted imbalances between them as well. But none of that means their arrangement is deceptive by it's very nature. And I will submit, unless I know the specifics of any particular relationship / arrangement (business or otherwise), including one between a man and a woman having sex, I can't conclude that the very nature of their arrangement is necessarily deceptive. Or that deception is required and demanded in that relationship/arrangement.
Just as we can come up with examples supporting what you said, I'm sure we can come up with examples of a relationships between a man and a woman where the arrangement is not by it's very nature deceptive. Here's one. My neighbor downstairs hired a chica to be his housekeeper, and his fuck buddy. He explained to her how much and when she was to get paid. She agreed to the arrangement. There were no specifics regarding when sex was to take place. I'm sure they "worked it out" on their own. So far, we have 2 mutually consenting adults on unequal footing, starting off imbalanced, and as far as I can surmise, mere circumstance may present some unwanted imbalances. Like perhaps she may not clean as well as he likes. Or maybe he fucks her too hard. Now here we have a relationship / arrangement which I think has all of the elements weve been talking about, but there is no deception (by the very nature of their arrangement) going on. So that's 2 different examples that may not apply to situations where there may be unwanted imbalances etc in that arrangement, but deception is not necessarily a variable involved.
My point is, anything can be relevant and valid if the critera supports the conclusion one is making. But when the criteria doesn't fit or certain variables are not there, then one should see a particular conclusion may not be applicable. Of course one can bypass knowing the details and decide to assume (often wrongly) whats going on. Which is often what a lot of folks do on the regular. Another way to put it.. The relationship or sex going on between a man and a woman does not inherently mean deception will be there or demanded. IE, guy goes to Blackbeards to see a particular chick there he likes to bang. He fucks her, pays his money, and goes back home to his wife. Unless I know specifics, there is nothing deceptive by the very nature of that business arrangement or demanded. Its just two consenting adults mutually using each other. Now what he tells his wife on the other hand, thats another story. Or whatever his wife tells him of what she was doing why he was away.
GFE: when when the individual damn well knows she is not your fucking girlfriend and you have no intention on being her fucking boyfriend but the expectation or demand is that her performance is good enough to trick the higher brain functions into believing that is the case. I am uncertain how anyone who says they got it can deny that they were deceived or that they simply chose to be deceived in order to achieve the experience. The only way that that type of interaction could happen without deception is if GFE is defined in terms of specific behaviors.
This example matches your premise. The thing I was trying to emphasize is that the behavior of both parties may define the arrangement and it's course. If you have two parties not even operating on that level of GFE, pretend GF etc, and it's just business, there may not be any innate deception.
We know from experience that certain behavior between men and women, there can be deception. What I'm pointing out though, is that there can be relationships / arrangements between two parties where there is no deception by it's very nature or a demand for it. If a man has a 3 some and pays each what is agreed on, does that mean deception was involved just by the nature of their relationship / arrangement? NO, not necessarily. Mind you I'm not saying deception can't occur at all, I'm just saying deception is not necessarily something that happens by the nature of their arrangement / relationship. The example you provided I can see the application within that context. But not in a general business arrangement/relationship.
It is also rare that a certain amount of deception does not creep into every relationship.
Given the criteria that fits, I can agree with that. Where it is not applicable I just don't apply it. Lying/deception is something folks do even if it has no impact for or against the association / arrangement / relationship. So the question can be, how much impact does any deception going on have on the relationship or either party? Can there be deception that has zero impact one way or the other? IMO, yes. So we know deception is practiced. Question though? Does it cause conflict in every instance? Not always. Some deception is acceptable, even tolerable.
The idea of added complexity to me seems like a given as the parties in relationships are not machines and that is exactly what makes the relationships we enter into interesting in the first place. Or maybe not. As the raging debate that seems to be on going about mongering techniques seems to illustrate.
Yes, interesting is one aspect of outcome one may experience. In addition, frustration, boredom, excitement and the list is endless are just a few others.
Thought I'd share something else
I have a buddy, and an ex co worker that used to do this. They would ask people questions. And then they would give you their multiple choice answers. The irony with that, is that very often there were more choices than the ones they gave you to pick from. I've laughed at them internally many times, and outwardly shared with them; . Why don't you just ask me the question, and let me choose my own answers or give my own perspective? Especially since my answer may be more thorough.
This kinda reminds me of our discussion on the sharing of information, giving and receiving advice. What I've noticed, is that very often folks have a script, a perspective. And when they relate to others they operate from their script, and they kinda expect others to follow suit. But when the individuals they relate to end up having a totally different perspective, or approach it is difficult for some to include that other persons perspective as being relevant and valid in a different context or situation.
So folks that are like that only see things from their vantage point, and when it comes to other people, they have an indifference or disconnect when it comes to others operating differently or having their own perspective. In fact, in some instances they may not even care to know the other persons perspective deep down. And because they do not ask for feedback, or if they do ask, they still work from their script for others to follow. They never get to know the interest, motivations or passions of another. And that's why a person like that may ask a question and offer their multiple choice answers instead of just allowing the person to explain how they see it.
One reason may be, the person offering answers has a hard time accepting a perspective that doesn't jive with their own. If you have ever observed some of my rough back and forth exchanges with a few people on this board, then you might know what I'm talking about. 2 in particular always had a habit of trying to reinterpret wrongly the context of my posts, falsely assign how I supposedly felt, and then argue with me based on the contrived information that they created. Its like they invented their own adversary and I was used as a representative. So I ended up going back and forth with them. Some people paid attention to the battle, but not how it started. And why should they? It wasnt happening to them. I guess, no I know I enjoyed it. It was entertainment.
The two guys I mentioned, my ex co worker and my buddy? It was funny the look they had on their faces when I didn't accept the choices they offered, but had my own choices. They had that deer in the headlights look. They even seemed frustrated with me, like I was being difficult or not playing fair. If I'm a stickler for something, I guess you can say I do not allow anyone to assign my feelings or perspective to me. If you want to know how I feel, then let me express myself. If my perspective does not follow the script one has for me, then so be it. Thats their problem, not mine. If I tell them that's not my POV, and they turn it around and act like I have a problem, there will be a problem.
I want to be understood and I am willing to include and accept the other parties perspective for understanding. But when it becomes a challenge instead of for seeking mutual understanding, I want no parts of that. When two parties can articulate each others perspective correctly, and accept it, then a better understanding and relationship can emerge. You wanna measure whether or not someone really understands your POV or is really listening? Ask them to repeat back what they understood of what you said, and you do the same. People usually find out right then and there, that the other person really has no clue what your POV is.
They have their own interpretation which doesnt match yours. Thats because they are working from their script , concentrating on making the communication a challenge rather than seeking mutual understanding. Asking for feedback can help correct misinterpretations and misunderstandings. If that were their MO. Often that isnt their goal. BTW what I just shared has nothing to do with our exchange. I just thought it would be interesting to share and add clarity in how I perceive some aspects of communication.
Dominican Logic? I think not
We got to Terra Linda at 10:38 and the guy said the kitchen was closed. Well what time do you close? 11 pm. So how the hell is the kitchen closed? Dominican logic. We went to NY Pizza and they were not going to make anything else either. The girl said that because of the early closing time of the bars, they close early too.
After spending some time in the Dominican Republic, I returned to my country of origin. One of the most interesting things for me has been observing the difference in the way things get done in the Dominican Republic and my country of origin: Untied States of America. My base operations is: Las Vegas.
One night I went to a Church's chicken and ordered some chicken strips. I was told they were closed. I asked what time did the close. They say 9:30 PM. It was 9:25 PM. I inquired what was the deal and was told the cook turned of the fryers early and they could not prepare more chicken. I was provided with apologies and then it was let's make a deal. He began to offer chicken as bargain prices. Without going through the details of the negotiation I wound up leaving the place with 10 pieces of chicken three sides and some biscuits for about a $2. 00 more than I was going to pay for my original strip meal.
Least you think that it was a one off occasion. I return again a couple of weeks later. This time calling myself smart by arriving a 9:00 PM. This time my chicken strip dinner was available but no biscuits. Substituted two apple pies for my biscuit. Figured as long as I didn't get both apple pies probable wind up with the same damage to my metabolic system.
I have a friend who works for a quick serve restaurant. He a friend that works for a quick serve restaurant right next door. It was about thirty minutes before closing when my friend was there. His friend said watch this. His friend announced via the loud speaker that they could only take cash as the credit card machine had gone down. My friend was confused and asked how can you keep operating if that happens. He explained that the computer system in his restaurant was unified cash and credit. He friend explained to him that theirs were also. He said that they do this when they want to be able to close on time. And they both watched as about half the cars waiting to order backed out of the line and left.
Another night my friend, now being hip to the work avoidance moves of poorly supervised staff, was in his usual Denny's for take out order. He was told that he would not be able to place an order because they did not have any take out boxes available to pack his meal. He told them that was an excellent way to avoid work. The hostess stuttered and stammered until he laughed and decided to go another location.
Dominican Logic? I think not.
UTR's, Non-Pros (NP), and Sugar Babies (SB)
This is a thread to discuss the named topics and share my adventures here in the Dominican Republic (DR). A catch all place for things that just don't fit into the action packed threads of the different cities that are focused solely on the pro action. Cultural observations, philosophy, economics, game, chica psychology, negotiation, and anything else that leads to getting the panties on the floor action (POF) that we are all looking for.
When I post and use the term arrangement I'm using it in reference to Sugar Baby / Sugar Daddy arrangements or any other transaction sexual arrangements between a male and female. There is a huge quantity of information previously posted where the discussions are focused on that issue. I didn't think I needed to explain that given the name and nature of this forum.
Any Dominicans in Ft Lauderdale / Miami
Guys,
Any contact with semi pros in Ft. Lauderdale / Miami that you are willing to share?
