Does anyone have a recommendation for a luxury barber shop in the Manila metro area? Something where men are pampered with a good haircut shave, 4 hands massage etc like the ones in Thailand and Vietnam?

Is there such a thing in Philippines?
Not that I know of DG.
Maybe a better question directed at Tripadvisor Genie.
I know things get 'off topic' here occasionally, but it is a mongering site.

Hair cut

Same "influencer" guy but I think Manila, unlike Bkk or HMC, is not geared for the sort of tourist experience you are talking about.
$120 is about 7000 PHP, which could go a lot further than a hair cut and trimmings.
Sorry nobody got back with you on this. The phone's been ringin' off the hook. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. There used to be a short time hotel right next door to LA Cafe (now known as Midnight Haven). Not sure if its still in operation. In the pic, its up the stairs next to the girl in the black pants. Can't remember the name of the place and I never used it. Others mentioned it. Brickstone? Don't know the cost or quality.
It's still there, used it about 2 weeks ago with a FL from the LA Cafe. It's still 600, definitely not somewhere you would stay out of choice but it served its purpose for an hour.
Just be careful not to stand on / trip over the dog that sleeps on the stairs.

Nuru Massage
Has anyone tried the following outcalls?
- Nuru Goddesses Spa.
- Shogun Spa.
- Hoshiko Spa Manila & Pampanga.
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

On the way out I had to step over several piles of dog shit.
Despite all this, it definitely serves its purpose, and it's still 600 php too.
Is there such a thing in Philippines?
About 30 years ago in Vegas there was a barber shop called "A Little of the Top" on the west side, the "barbers" where all topless good looking girls, with the proper licenses and all that, prices were around $50, and of course everybody dropped a $100 bill, there was always a waiting line. After some righteous people complained to the cosmetology board they had the operating license revoked. Back then seemed like my hair was growing very fast.

One cutting hair, one on each hand, one on each foot and the sixth on her knees underneath the drop sheet.
Aah, the good old days.

Not all are scammers
About a few weeks before my last trip I was surfing thru FB and noticed a sexy looking girl. I messaged her about a meet up when I got there. Sure, we can get together sir!
A week later I get a message from her for meds for her sick kid. Yeah yeah I know what you guys are going to say. She sends me a copy of the prescription and describes the ailment. The script looks legit and I have a friend check out the cost for me. The script is legit and it cost 2250 like she said. Add in trike cost and 2450.
I told her I could have friend gcash her 2500 and she would "credit me one boom boom". Of course she said a deal as she really needs the meds for her kid. About 2 weeks later I texted her about the credit boom boom, she replies she just needs trike money 100 each way. Can I pay the trike when she arrives? Sure I will wait at the front door. 20 minutes she is there. We go up to finish our deal. Deal finished and not a word about another peso after I give 100 for the trike ride back.
I was a little surprised. She honored the deal without anything else!
Not all are scams.

You can still get that!

Aah, the good old days..
Got almost similar hair cut couple of months back in my trip there as well as one in Saigon.
That's what in fact inspired this quest. I got hooked to being pampered.

Not all are scams.
Well done DG.
You've found one in a million it seems with the sick kid scenario.
I assume this genuine one didn't send you through fake pics of the sick kid.
I agree, not all are scammers, but the percentages weigh heavily towards those that are.
Just my experience_ Phil.

Just my experience_ Phil.
I have found most are legit requests. They have a real need. Just this one is so rare that she honored the deal. I did see her again for 2.5 k and plus a supply of meds for her kid from my clinic person. All in 5 k.
She is going to go back to work in the bar now that her kid is better. I happen to notice another beauty that is her FB friend and asked her about the beauty. Turns out the beauty is back in Samar. Then I asked if she had some other sexy friends there? She replied there are and she will ask around for me when I return! An addition to my F and F Plan.

Abacca massage spa
Just a quick report on the above spa. This is the one in Makati "anti polo road" it says open 24 hours but I called late at night and no one picked up the phone.
Anyway the important stuff, had a great massage lots of teasing and a really good knuckle shuffle finish. I will certainly go back next time I am in town. Lady was 25 years old and good looking, price was 1500 peso for just over an hour. I beleive there are 2 Abacca spas in Manila, would be interesting if anyone has comments on the other.
May the force be with you.
