Just returned from my mid-year trip to Jakarta and my visit to Blok M. Not much happening in this area. Now down to 1 place. My Bar. Not as it used to be. Basically on Friday.

And Saturday are there some personnel. I don't usually visit the massage places as stated in the forum it's usually bad service.

I do stay in the Gajah Mada area so I did use the Ojek guys for connection and I did find a stunner among the choices. Good service good attitude but a bit rushed.

There are some walkers on Gajah Mada near the McDonalds but due to street construction not a lot.

Although I was close to Travel Hotel I didn't visit. Did meet another forum person and went to Kota area. Lots of bars with some 8/9 in these places. So it's worth a try.

And unless I tip them, what is their motivation to share this knowledge with me? None, they will just want to unload just any girl on me and fuck off to entertain a group of rich Chinese blokes.

I think this is the same train track location at the intersection of Jl. Bandengan Utara III and Jl. Liberia Dalam III (look for Dapur Nyonya Adel restaurant). The stairs are directly across from this restaurant, very narrow, steep, and tricky to climb that will lead you to the track and then start walking towards east. The location itself is rough and a bit risky to reach but is safe, you won't get roughed up. I've visited a few places like this in Jakarta, Cibitung, and Bandung, unless you're going purely for a cultural "been there, done that" experience, I wouldn't recommend going there with the intention of partaking. The videos are enticing, but rooms are made of plywood, with no bathroom, water, towels, and you'll encounter rats, roaches, mosquitoes besides girls.

I don't know how safe is that location. Looks like it's chiefly for the local clientele. There were few posts about SWs near rail-tracks.
