LOL a 24 yr incumbent loses by 30 points after outspending him by 80 fuckin million
"Without Democratic presidents, there would have been no slavery, no Civil War, no persecution of blacks in the South".
Your attempts at sophistry are as lame as your fellow Anti American ISGer Tokyo Roses.
If the all the slave owners were alive today 95% would be Libertarians.

LOL. Is it MAGA self-delusion or ordinary MAGA lies? Who cares really.
You were all on board with this back in 2023 Marquesa. In fact you added to my list:
Pro Repub MAGA pretend "Bothsider-Neithersiders" bring their dishonest false-equivalencies to every argument the facts and data prevent them from winning.
So we are both doing the same thing but you kinda' sorta' "win" and come out ahead because what I am doing is worse than what you're doing, is it now? Lolol. Yep. That's the classic pro Repub MAGA pretend "bothsider-neithersider" game, alright.
Nope. What I'm posting is fully supported by facts, data and the historical record of actual results. What you're posting is nit-picking and cherry-picking utterly irrelevant anecdotes and unsubstantiated opinion.
My side produced every major economic recovery, majpr economic expansion or historic private-sector job gains of the past 100 years and none of the Great Depressions, Great Recessions or historic job losses while your side produced every Great Depression, Great Recession or historic job losses of the past 100 years and none of the great economic recoveries, great economic expansions or historic private-sector jobs creation.
None of it is the result of wild coincidences, crazy business cycles, bad luck or a witch's curse. It's just plain good old fashioned crap Repub economic policies and crap Repub stewardship vs obviously and inarguably far superior Dem policies and stewardship.
You can't even name one simple, ordinary, garden-variety program or legislation that your side has bothered to lift a finger to propose, fight for and pass when they occupied the White House and held the Majority in the House and the Senate that so much as 51% of the American people today revere and want to be left intact, not destroyed or compromised so much that it no longer improves their lives and promotes a better USA economy and standard of living. Ever. Not even after giving you and your fellow Dem-bashing Repub MAGAs well over a year to come up with just one. And while Dems have been responsible for ALL such programs and legislation.
Again, there is nothing mystical and magical about that either. One side gives a shit about producing good programs and legislation to benefit most Americans and works damn hard and takes all the political risk to accomplish it. That would be my side. The other side doesn't give a shit about that and would rather take the lazy, deadbeat, do nothing and know nothing approach by letting oligarchs who buy them their election wins loot the federal coffers at the great expense of everyone else. That would be your side.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party's record is clearly far and away worse for getting Americans killed in American Wars started while they were commander-in-chief no matter how hard you hope nobody will notice Abraham Lincoln was indeed a Republican president.
Enjoy your self-delusion if that's what allows Repub MAGAs to come up with this silly nonsense. Too bad the silliness also results in so much damage to America and the American people though.
Too old and really senile
USA, MAGA led by a geriatric. No peace with Iran, for Ormuz and Ukraine. Failures of golfer.

Just super-duper wild coincidences over and over for 100 years I suppose.
No Tooms, like I said, YOU won. You're the master of the spurious correlation. Dig deeper and most of your old, historical claims about Democrats and Republicans are bogus. I've described why in many posts over the last few years. I don't have time to do that anymore. You are right on some points. Republicans did contribute to the Great Depression and Bush's nation building was a fiasco. And I agree with many (but not all) of your criticisms of Trump. Nothing else comes to mind.
In your post above you are right that Lincoln was a Republican. The rest is false or deceptive.
Now, that's funny! Got any more unsubstantiated and totally contrary to the facts, data and record of actual results opinions to share with us?
FUN FACTS:
Before Obama's and Biden's presidencies I predicted here that their recoveries from the existential disasters each inherited from the outgoing Repub would be historic and remarkable based on the D next to their names on the ballot considering that Party's consistent record for it over the previous decades. I also predicted economic disaster for Trump's presidency in between and this time around based on the R next to his name on the ballot considering that Party's consistent record for it over the previous decades.
So far I am 4 for 4 on my predictions for just the most recent Dem vs Repub results. And all the facts, data and record of actual results for the past 100 years certainly bear out my observations. Boy, would my face have been red if Obama and Biden hadn't earned their place on, say, historians' greatest presidents list, Obama in the top ten and Biden only ranking marginally behind one Repub president of the past 100-plus years. And it took that one Repub 2 terms of 8 years to follow through on FDR's Interstate Highway plan in order to marginally out-rank what Biden accomplished in just 4 years.
Oh, and imagine how much crow I would have to eat if Trump's economic and national security decisions hadn't wiped out millions of jobs in his first term, the first president to leave office with fewer jobs in the economy than when he started since fellow Repub Herbert Hoover, guess what, less than 100 years ago. Or if his GDP Growth and jobs creation numbers this time around were stellar instead of paltry and pathetic, especially considering the Trillions he has added to his debt and deficits. At this point it is truly doubtful his classic Repub policies and stewardship will have created a single net gain private-sector job by the last day of his full 8 years in office!
But my face isn't red. Because my predictions were right. And I don't expect to ever in my lifetime have to eat crow on predictions of economic disaster at the hands of any Repub so-called president vs far superior results for the Dem. It doesn't require MAGA Magic to get it right, you know. All anyone really needs to know is which letter is next to their names on the ballot.
Electrostate vs. Petrostate: Intermittent Wind and Solar coming for gas's lunch?
As of the 21st of May, 2026, renewables (wind and solar) had more electricity generation, than gas globally, for the first month ever in April 2026. Together, they provided 22% of global electricity in April 2026, compared with 20% from gas.

No doubt, it probably won't be a straight line trend, but just as renewables ate coal's lunch, it's coming for gas's lunch money too.

Stating the obvious, as sometimes we must
This covers it pretty well.
