Once you make a left on Cedeno you enter to Maria montez st. and then you make a right, correct?
up gomez, right on cedeno, and yes the street would be maria montez to make a left. if you are thirsty go up a few blocks to moca and there is a nice size colmado to sip on a Prez first. You really can't get lost in the area.

Street ho's
They will go with you for 500 or less if you can convince them you are not a random foreigner. They all know the security guards at nearby parking lots who will take 50 pesos to let you fuck them in your car in the parking lot. It's a better option than bringing them to your room where they can price you based on the fancy electronics most of us travel with and display in our rooms (not a good idea) they will steal if you let them. Be aware
Depending on traffic 10-15 minutes, or more and it is real easy to find. If driving go down Bolivar to Maximo Gomez and make a right. Go past 27, go past kennedy and make a right on Cedeno. Cedeno is the second large street past Kennedy. You can't miss it because there is a large cemetary on the corner.
Once on Cedeno make a left at the second block. The first block after making the left is Ramon Ramirez. Just look for house #125 which should be easy to find. The number is on the house and it has a fresh coat of paint. If you drive slow enough don't be surprised if Australia comes out to greet you. She knows why strangers come on her block.
In the past I have spoken highly of GBP and Jaguar Hotel. Australia's is my new addition to the Best of SD. Another one I will add to my Best of SD will be the $RD1000 chicas by Jaragua Hotel/Casino provided you screen the chica first.
There are a few gems hidden in that little bunch.
Here is one, heheh, I once received a $15 proposal from a Napolitano casino client, apparent addict to slot machines. So it is possible to take a girl for 500 pesos. some of these girls end their day with nothing.

A misnomer
Disagree: All of the DR is third world as well as most of Latin America.
Don't understand how you can see it otherwise.
All the best, Schwmm
That term by definition is a misnomer and no longer applies, especially when you consider how small the world is, with the internet everywhere, major corporations everywhere etc.
Just for your information this is the definition (as defined by Wikipedia), of a third world country as you can see it no longer applies:
The term Third World arose during the Cold War to define countries that remained non-aligned or neutral with either capitalism and NATO (which along with its allies represented the First World) or communism and the Soviet Union (which along with its allies represented the Second World). This definition provided a way of broadly categorizing the nations of the Earth into three groups based on social, political, and economic divisions. Although the term continues to be used colloquially to describe the poorest countries in the world, this usage is widely disparaged since the term no longer holds any verifiable meaning after the fall of the Soviet Union deprecated the terms First World and Second World. While there is no identical contemporary replacement, common alternatives include developing world and Global South.
Yes, I once had a blonde from behind Jaragua, she was nice. Taxi drivers are going to tell you not to risk with street girls and maybe it is truth in certain areas like for example behind Parque Independencia but you can find nice girls on Independencia and malecon between Hilton and Dollhouse. I believe most taxi drivers say that because they want to take you to casas where they receive a pay .
Ain't that the truth, Brother. Everyone has a scam in the DR. Pay you for your time, Get the f*ck outta here". If I had a dime for every Jose who could get me something on El Conde, I'd have the cure to pay for healthcare........

BQ, you have talent as a photographer, very nice photos. I recognize the tattoo, light skin chica from GBP. Attractive face, does she have the big mouth with the big lips sort of like Mick Jagger?

I have in my travels in Dom Rep, come across chicas who said to me "pay me what you want". I wonder how other mongers have handled that, when a chica tells the Monger to name the price. Sort of like Priceline for mongering. One casino chica I met in Hotel El Emajador comes to mind, she told me she lost everything gambling and said she would take whatever, I didn't trust her, so I didn't take her up to my room. (I can foresee potential problems as in the chica making a fuss after the deed, that the money offered is not sufficient).

I would say yes, yes, yes. Her first name begins with an "A"? and she is the first bubbly person you meet at GBP? Attractive, sexy chica who probably wins over first and second time visitors.
Lady "A" is a great introduction to GBP and SD. Just goes to show what you can get for $RD1500 pesos in house.

Yep

to Jaosousa
Well,
If a chica says "pay me what you want" you tell her that you are willing to pay her 100 pesos. See how she reacts. Unless the chica is an addict they will usually become quite upset. This is actually an old trick of the trade. If you do not set the price at the beginning they will give you some ridiculous sum at the end. Usually when chicas pull the "pay me what you want" stunt many mongers just leave them alone. One friend told me that if you have problems with them at the beginning that you will have problems with them at the end. Sometimes this is the sign of an early problem.

Worse thing they can do to the car is throw something at the window of the car (If you have the rental insurance for glass, you should be covered if the window breaks).
