Recommendation for 10 hour layover
Hi Guys, I will land land Bangkok at 11 am and my connecting flight is at 9:20 pm.
This will be my first time in Bangkok, would really appreciate recommendations so that I make best of this limited time window.
Thanks.
Addition to my ealier post on Aimi Nuru Massage
I have now also had the pleasure of experiencing the services of Emma at Aimi, which reaffirms my earlier comments that their service levels are quite consistent, I. E. The girls (at least the 3 I have had so far) benefit from a thorough training. My stats for Emma: Looks 9/10 very cute and young. Also love her natural proportions; Service 9/10.
This Nuru Massage shop, although they are featured in at least 2 YouTube videos, get's very little, if any, attention in the forum and this is a shame as they do seem to provide a consistently good service.
I have had the pleasure of being "served" by Kathy and Nami during the past 2 weeks and must say that I was impressed both times:
Kathy: Looks 9.5/10; Service 10/10 (unfortunately she is currently on leave and therefore not featured in their list of talents).
Nami: Looks 7/10; Service 9/10.
Both ladies are in the "Classic category" where prices are very competitive for what is being offered. I am not sure where ladies in higher categories score better. At least in the case of Kathy it is difficult for me to imagine what can be better, but then beauty is in the eye of the beholder and service experiences can also differ do to personal preferences.
What impressed me in both cases is the consistency of the level of service; both have been trained very well. Nuru Massage originates in Japan and for those not familiar with the concept, it is like a Soapy, but with a special Gel (the Nuru Gel) that allows for a very sensual body-to-body massage and that is also easily removed (contrary to the oil used in the oily massage joints). When done well the whole process from being showered by the lady (while sitting on a stool), over receiving the body-to-body massage on an oversized inflatable mattress to doing the deed is full of seemingly never-ending memorable sensations.
This is where Aimi shines: Japanese quality inventions (the Nuru gel and end to end process) combined with the sweetness of Thai talents. Clearly a place that will now feature on my list of to-do's for every trip to Bangkok (at least 6 per year).
