Vee, You're right, beauty is a subjective thing, but I'm not so sure we're all that far apart on that issue. I've spent some time in Thailand and think on average Thai women are hotter than Latinas. However, I think there are more 9's and 10's among Latina hookers than Thai hookers. When a Colombian or a Brazilian or a Argentinian is hot, she's world-class hot.

Actually I'd give an 8.5 to the hottest woman I saw Thursday at the Veneto, the night we were both there, about the same as you. In my book the one I was with on Friday and Saturday nights, also pulled from the Veneto, was in the same league as Halle Berry -- a little better in the body but not as good in the face. In Golden Time the percentage of lookers is much higher but they're still not all raving beauties. You probably saw some bad photos. In terms of conentrated beauty, I'd rate GT ahead of, say, the Poseidon model's lounge or anyplace in Makati, to provide examples I think we're both familiar with.

I agree completely with your thoughts about paying $1000 in travel expense to go have sex in a foreign country. I'd add that after you've done it three or four times in a few days, having sex starts to lose it's allure. It makes more sense to stay home and bang gringas if sex is your primary motivating factor. Need opinions from anyone who has been to Panama.

Will be in San Jose at the end of May and haven't decided if I should stop over
in PTY or fly over back to the DR after the trip. Same cost for each. What I basically need to know if it's worthwhile to take a chance as a newbie to Panama to go for 2 or 3 days or should I go with the DR as I have been there several times. This is because of the time factor on the way back home.

Life is short, always try something new. There is a wealth of information available here by doing a search. You can have a good ole time in PTY with a short visit. All the major must see spots will make you smile. Golden Times. Club Miami. Club Bodequita. Etc.

I would never recommend anyone come here (PTY) just for the mongering--especially if you're opposed to MPs. However, if you have an excuse for business or an interest in tourism, you should consider it.

Though poontang is widely available, the whole mongering "system" just is not as advanced as SJO or DDRR (see MrVee's reports below). Although, if light-skinned busty colombianas are your thing, you'll likely find more of them here than in those other two places.

If your Spanish is good and if you like cities Panama might be a good choice. Otherwise you're probably better off somewhere else. I don't know DR, but I've gotten better service and GFE from the the Colombian hotties in Panama versus San Jose. Also there are more good restaurants and hotels. I'm not in town very long so time is more important than money, so I tend to be a high end monger. But read other reports, by Meat Loaf, Permanent Damage and Gauntman for example -- they have fun with lower and no cost options. The key though is Spanish. Unlike San Jose, the PFP scene isn't easy to navigate and you're not as likely to get GFE if you don't speak the language.

I appreciate everyone's reports on PTY and my posts in general. Tiny, the link to Fantasy's experience and the photo was definitely great. I didn't go back to January '07 in my searches, though, because I figure after about 6 months of history, you cannot really depend too much on what you read or see. That may or may not be true, but in just in general. However, on that girl, I would be with anyone saying the girl in Fantasy's picture was a hottie - even more so for me because of the petite frame.
My main reason for going to Panama was because I got a $275 round-trip ticket and couldn't resist at that price. Plus, I've been reading about how #1 the country is (for the past couple of years) with regard to investing and/or retiring there, so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Panama is a good place to monger. Looking for GFE with hooker’s from Colombia might be the problem. These women came to the country for making money and most of the times they came on a budget or even with money they borrow from drug dealers so they need to make money quick. In the other side, the local girls from Panama are sometimes difficult to engage but most of them understand English. You need to go places, like TGI Friday’s to meet English spoken people.

I had work in Panama the last four years and the Panamanians told me that they dislike dirty people and people that believe that all Latinos are just for cleaning dishes. Avoid this behavior and you shouldn’t have problem with the locals.

The TLN fee for a Colombian hooker should be no more that $100.00, believe me, if one girl asks more, you should offer her $100.00 if she is super very pretty. No local or foreigner living here will pay more than that.

Last year on this same forum I got some serious fight about the high prices some gringos were paying to the hookers. The average price at that moment was $60.00 and for the best looking’s even $80.00. If some people continue to pay high prices the place will be ruined for sure.

I hang out at Elite, not Le Palace, but had same experience the one time I paid retail, that is, the one time I paid the barfine instead of arranging something for after hours or next day. I had to kick her out of the room at about 3:00 PM the next day, after she worked me over 5 or 6 times.

That happened to me also in PTY when a "working girl" came back to the Marbella apartment: She didn't want to leave and that was on day #3. Not bad for me considering I paid $60.

Like it or not, but I had girls at La Bodegita turn down $200 for TLN and that was with some hard negotiation.

I was here a year ago and they were all over me for that. Prices in PTY have inflated. There's way more mongers here than a year ago and there seems to be less Colombian girls. They used to hang out at Manolo's in force, but now I only see one or two there. I saw a girl get kicked out of Veneto, and the ratio at La Bodegita was overwhelmingly male.

I think I wrote this before but im not sure so ill write it down again.

Cotton Club has changed its format. If Im not mistaken, there's no $25 cover anymore. The club itself has 2/3 floors with restaurants on the top floor. 3 types of food, mediterranean, asian and french. In the mediterranean you can smoke those arab pipes, arguiles(dont know the translation) and get arab type food. Asian, sushi and the like and delicatessens from the french.

Bottom floor is where the girls are located. Not sure about prices since I havent been able to find out before but I might tonight if anyone is in town drop me a PM.
