https://maps.app.goo.gl/76TgP7WdDNSvakyg8
This is one of the things, maybe only thing, michat works reasonably well for. Usually there are some "massage" advertisements there. 300 k for 90 minutes is the standard price, and since it's in your own room, it's a better deal unless you happen to be passing by a massage place anyway. I've booked a few, and without fail, it's someone different from the photo who turns up. Lookwise something between 4-6 usually, and age around 30. Only had massage, though I did try (and fail) to bang one who was on the prettier side.
One of the women I talked to said she had no idea who I expected, and was just told by some admin to go to my hotel for a booking. Quality of massage was decent enough. About the same as the hotel massage.
If I remember right, they were all wearing facial masks while waiting in the lobby for me.

Strip club in Jakarta?
Does anyone know of a strip club in Jakarta? I was at a fantastic club about 15 years ago. Last year I tried to find something similar and the closest I came was taxi drivers who said there were some underground strip clubs that only insiders knew about.
Is there a ban on clubs where the girls dance? And does anyone have more information? I would really appreciate information from those of you who know.

I believe the best are to stay in Jakarta is around classic hotel. You will be close enough to the nice area in the center and 10 minutes away from travel hotel.
I went to Central Park mall. It's larger than grand Indonesia mall but it's much further and I prefer the grand Indonesia. Don't waste your time going to Central Park.
I only had one session at classic because I had to wake up early and be a tourist. I entered at 8:30 pm. A tall and skinny mama grabbed me then another short older mama said something to her and she grabbed me instead. I objected and said I wanted that tall mama and went with her. Now when I think about it I shouldn't have done that because they probably take turns and it might have not be the tall mama turn and I might caused the short mama to lose face and it's not a good idea to upset them.
I'm still haven't had a good meal. In Jakarta. I went to a restaurant next to classic called Joni steak house or something and it was the worst steak I have ever had. It didn't taste like meat it tasted like plastic.
Would you recommend a good hotel to stay in the middle between the slums and the nice areas?
Let's say equivalent in price and quality to an HolidayInn?
Well there is more than one Holiday Inn in Jakarta.
Let your favourite hotel booking engine do the searching. For all else, there is the Jakarta hotels section.

If you monger in the afternoon you will find traffic backed-up solid everywhere. But even staying very close is not a guarantee you can get there easily. I'm staying at Moevenpick Peconongan. Yesterday I asked the taxi to close the ride to Classic so that I could walk because traffic was not moving. I'm staying 800 m as the crow flies from Classic but there's a dangerous chaotic intersection (Peconongan / Samanhudi) to negotiate. To walk safely I'd have to walk on the other side of the road all the way to Pasar Baru in order to use the pedestrian overpass bringing me to Classic's side of the road. That means a 3-km walk.
I've given up on Kota Indah because of traffic. I don't monger any later than 6 pm.
Even if you monger at night you'll be confined to your hotel most of the day, so not scrounging on your hotel budget is essential.
By the way, the Bluebird app stubbordly refused to locate Hotel Classic, fobbing me off with another hotel Classic somewhere in Jakarta. Even entering "Hotel Classic Jl Samanhudi" didn't help. This must be a feature of the app, some kind of censorship? I can't believe Hotel Classic to be that unknown, not with dozens of passengers taking a taxi to it every single day of the year.
Indeed going to Central Park can be a 2-hour ride. Last time I went I had to ask the taxi to find a place for me to relieve my bladder in a Soi. Plaza Indonesia/ Grand Indonesia is the only game in town. I have found the upmarket restaurants in the plazas to be neither good nor good value for money. The best food I've had has been at Moevenpick's (of which I especially recommend the Cantonese restaurant).

I strongly recommend Movenpick for a stay, its new and opened last summer only. Great location for Emporium and Classic lovers. Rooms are modern, although a little small for my liking. BF spread is huge, and their Italian on the ground floor is very nice. I'll try the Cantonese in my next trip and bringing girls to your room is no hassle at all. Big thumbs up.

There is a very decent Chinese restaurant just give it a try, come out of emporium and walk left towards classic, on your left just before the red light. I think opposite red top hotel.

Hello everyone,
I am planning an upcoming trip to Cambodia Thailand and Indonesia (Jakarta only) in October. So far my itinerary will be 1 week Jakarta, 1 week Phnom Penh and then 2 weeks Pattaya.
By now I am an expert on Pattaya but I have never been to either Phnom Penh or Jakarta.
The focus for me really is just mongering. I have little interest in sightseeing or any other activity (will probably still do some during daytime if nothing else to do). Can you guys recommend a hot spot that is close to the action in Jakarta and still allows to conveniently check out places like classic hotel? I will ofc be using taxis or uber to get around mostly I guess but I would like to be close (ish) to many different spots as I often like to just walk around from bar to bar and check what's on the menu.
Is that even possible in Jakarta?

Or opposite Travel and 2 doors up from Redstar Hotel the best Fried Chicken I've ever had, tons of garlic. A massive portion for like USD3. And these places are filled with locals so you know it's good. Soto Betawi the curry coconut soup with lamb is really addictive as well as Te Manis iced tea.

Is that even possible in Jakarta?
Jakarta is not at all a walker friendly city. Technically, it's possible but expect ankle breaking sidewalks, if there are any at all, suicidal attempts at crossing the road, suffocating exhaust pollution, and depending on the time of the year, potentially oppressive heat.
There is a reason that not even the poorest of the poor are seen walking anywhere. There is zero chance a hooker will follow you and walk back to your hotel.
Grab and Gocar are your friends.
Enjoy. G.
PS. I should have added that, since the demise of Blok M, there is no bar precinct. In Jakarta, you pick a place and go there for the afternoon or night. Start early and you may visit a second but there won't be any pub crawl.

I already read about traffic being a pain and getting around is not convenient but this effectively means that aside from being close to the 2-3 venues that are known (Classic, no idea about the others.) the rest does not matter much? I had hoped I can check out 3-4 venues beginning from the afternoon going into the night and take *2-3 girls* per day.
At least that was my idea as I only have a week I want to maximize the nutting :)

2 or 3 girls per day isn't a challenge in the slightest. But you want be doing multiple establishments per night. Kota to Kemang could easily be several hours driving.

It could go either way. I noticed they like to pre cook the food and leave it exposed which I'm not a fan of.
