If you like Soi 6 , get the girl there rather than at Insomnia. IMO, girls over 30 usually are very experienced and generally will have had too many bad experiences in the past with Thai guys and farang guys. Max I agreed to was 2 k LT. But as I said I don't go for 9's or 10's. Usually 7's or even close to 7's. And I only do LT.

One girl, I would say a solid 8, with a Swiss sponsor/boyfriend, who asked for 2,500 LT, agreed to 2k and when we were together actually told me she'd even go for 1K LT, IF the guy was young ( I'm not !!) and she really liked him. So, there are many variables. But, you've to look decent, dress well, look interesting and have some game. If you are a dodo bird and just sit there and stare and have no game , you will have to pay more...

And usually when I like a girl she stays with me for several days when I sense there is chemistry. And then unbeknownst to them, at the end they do very well. With shopping, going out to eat and etc and end up on average with about 3 k per day, at least ( in cash alone). But, I usually slip it into their purse, in front on them before they leave and look to see if they count before they leave. If they do, then I don't have them back. Most don't, after a few days, because they have a good time and a good experience. I don't aim for counts or total numbers, just quality of my experience with them. It's all relative. But I don't go over 3 days, lest they have false expectations.

Out of the 100's each night at Insomnia, I may only be interested in about 5-7 and then I chat with them and see what I want to do after buying them a drink. Several approach me almost every night but I decline in a very nice and respectful Thai way with my hands.

We all have our different approaches and different ways. I am probably quite a bit different than most, in many ways, because I am happy to go for several nights returning from Insomnia at 6 or 7 am, all by myself. I am very patient and very relaxed since I know I'm there for several weeks. However, in the last 6-7 days, I change, and probably am not so patient and lose my normal discipline.

I will post an update in a few weeks about any changes. YMMV as I said. And it is always true.

In general I pay 1 K for LT. And in the 11 years that I have been going to Thailand (including the 7 years that I have been living in Pattaya) I have never given more than 1.5 K LT.

Also, if a guy does not have the experience level in Thailand and / or Pattaya and is only there for a week (given other flight, hotel and opportunity costs), I think it is better logical reasoning to offer more than an experienced Pattaya hand like you.

If you are spending a total of say $4 k USD ( like the original poster) on a 1 week trip, I suggest not to quibble about 500 baht. But, a priori, you don't want to agree to too much, so as to keep expectations low and then pay more based on your overall experience with them. Really good ones are hard to find, so when I find that to be the case and with good chemistry and a cool, relaxed attitude, then I want to keep that one longer, so I am not hunting every day. YMMV, but my hit ratio on a good experience is usually only about 50-60 percent, so it makes sense for me to see if things get better with time. Usually, the good ones work out, but after three or four days they want more, are scoping for more info about you etc. ,. that's when I move on. But, sometimes, I return to those maybe 20-30 PC of the time. 70-80 PC of the time, I don't look back.

One final tidbit, if they speak a lot of English then IMO they are old hands at the game, so I avoid them. I am always looking for relative newcomers who have only been in Pattaya 1-2 months at most, or are in non-bar girl, go go or coyote type jobs. But still under 25. These are hard to find and are few and far between.....

American culture is not Thai culture, and there's absolutely no way tattoos in general are 'acceptable' in normal Thai society as it is in American society (but even at that, there is still a bias against tattoos in many parts of American society). I can cite several sources affirming they are real.

I have seen several women with them. I lived in Phuket and met plenty of people with them. Some bar girls get them for the reasons mentioned earlier, but stereotyping them all is stupid.

Old people just can't accept what they can't understand.

At a Christmas dinner. Office one. In a European country, a woman, looking absolutely normal and conservative by face, had an evening dress on. Her back, arms, shoulders were a full and solid canvas with large coloured tattoos.

Did not even had any piercing on ears or anywhere (visible) as these often go together with large portions of ink on the skin (maybe a stereotype too).

Anyways, the Prime reasons I don't like to offer more upfront is because a) I want to keep expectations low and b) experience tells me that in my specific case the more I offer upfront has almost zero statistical correlation to what happens later. However, I am sure they are all very surprised when I give them an extra 3-4 k at the end of say 3 days (on top of some shopping). And, this is another reason I don't go with regulars at Insomnia or girls in groups or from other places where they will talk to each other. I prefer being a mystery man, rather than one who the girls know ( outside of the club ), cause I don't want my MO known too broadly. During the weeks I am there next I doubt I will go with more than 8 from Insomnia ( or any other club ). If 4-5 of them are good then they will be with me a total of 12-15 days. 3-4 will be non repeats and with no extension beyond the first LT. 6-8 nights I will probably go back to my apt by myself at 6 or 7 am !!! The rest will be the 2-3 massage girls at my apt for LT and just rest up days. So, as you can see I approach all this quite differently and expect different results than most guys here . I am weird ! I know! Lol

I was in Latam a two months ago for 3 weeks and preferred to stay pretty much the entire time with a 20 yo, who I have known since she tuned 18. She is not a pro, maybe an occasional pro, with a desk job and taking English classes ( 3 days a week even when I was there brining back homework and her marked up quizzes and tests ). Looking forward to a trip during New Years. Got a room at LK empress on beach road. Not sure if that was the best choice after rtff. Will be on the ground for 10 days. I have learned a lot on here. This is my 3 Road trip to Thailand first was BKK the 2nd was to Phuket. Hope Pattaya does not disappoint. From what I have been reading it seems go go girls are as much as Internet escort sites by the time you pay the bar fine and the girl. Anyway I guess I will figure it out over the next few weeks. That's part of the adventure. How is the talent looking hoping lots of new girls for the high season.

Cute, but maybe you are speaking from you own experience dropping by a few bars and understanding their culture. I have been coming here year for almost 20 years and staying many times for a month each time. So my experience is a little deeper than a visiting a few bars.

The tattoos theory is just my theory. No need for johns to take things personally. I understand that many guys come to Thailand and cannot get a girl in the real world so they come to Thailand and in their mind these girls love them and are their girlfriends. They believe the fantasy. Don't drink the kool-aid and believe Thailand is real. Thailand is just a fantasy and it is not real. No money no honey. I love the this girls and I do like trial culture. These Thai girls have a very tough job. It not easy going with customers everyday.

In Pattaya today. Walking down one of the beer bar alleys around 2 pm. Some guy from England is walking the speed of a turtle almost in the middle of the road. There was a big truck behind him that they guy did not see. I guess the truck drivers are not allowed to honk at the foreigners. I am walking toward the guy almost in the same line just opposite direction. I make motions with my hands in a nice way to move and get off the street. He looks at me like I'll do what I want. The guy in the truck was ready to explode he was literally 1 foot behind the guy. The guy continued to walk I guess thinking in his mind ill do what I want. The Truck stopped let the guys walk about 4 feet in front of it and gassed it. I was 20 feet in front off the guy. I stepped top the side and kinda cringed like when you are going to see an accident like a guy going to get creamed. The guy walking just walked slowly forward looking at me like fuck you Ill do what I want not having any idea about his surroundings. The truck gassed it. The guy walking looks back at the last second and jumps out of the way as the truck missed him by an inch. I think the truck driver felt the guys was disrespecting him but the guy walking and did not see the truck. The guy that almost got hit did not even Thank me. LOL.

I have been chatting with a normal girl from up.

North. Now she wants to meet me in Pattaya while I am on vacation. Will have to pay for her travel there and back home. Not sure if I should bring her with me or not. If you're coming to Pattaya why commit yourself to one girl especially a girl you have never met or seen before. Pattaya is pretty cheap if you limit yourself to Beach Road, Red Car, Insomnia, Kinnaree, and Soi 6 (Soi Full Love Inn, Soi Honey) girls daily.

Pattaya is booming with girls now I can guarantee you your 35 year old "normal" girl is not better than girls you can find walking around Pattaya for an hour (or minutes).
