Any advice for freelancers or websites?
I'm looking for freelancers, or websites.
In Thailand we have sites like https://fan4you.nl/ or fiw fans or smocci, or you could go around the area near thermae and pick up freelancers.
Any advice for that in Jakarta? It's my first time there, if possible PM me or respond here.
Classic. Time rule change?
I've just returned from Classic T2 (Sunday eve) after an uncomfortable experience. I was happily banging one of my favourites there, when the room phone started ringing after literally just 30 minutes. I carried on as normal, and after 7-8 mins later, the phone rang and there was banging on the door, with someone telling us that our time was up. It was literally just 40 minutes at this stage.
I tipped the girl, apologized and left the room to talk to the receptionist. The receptionist was being a complete ***** and refused to give me straight answers (we were using Google Translate). I explained that I've been coming here for 4 months, and normally the phone rings after 45 minutes and we are supposed to get almost 1 hour. After 5 minutes of this of back and forth, another English speaking punter leaving the area commented to me that he got a knock on the door much earlier than expected as well. After a few more minutes, I realized that nothing will be done here, so I went upstairs and found the mami. I explained to her the situation. She was as wishy-washy as the receptionist. When I pushed her, and asked to speak to the manager, she took me to the billiard tables and asked me to wait near there, and she disappeared. After a few minutes, I realized that she's just bullshitting me, and I walk to the cashiers desk where you settle the bill. (This is why I never tip the mamis. When you need some sort of problem fixing, they don't give a shit.) A Google Translate convo with the cashier resulted in her saying that the manager is on holiday. So, I asked who's in charge, and she fobbed me off to the guy who stands at the exit door, making sure that no one leaves with their wrist band on. I once again explained the situation. He was polite and took me to a civilian looking buy sitting on one of the round tables. This guy had normal clothes on, no name badge, no indication that he was a customer or a manager. He spoke basic English and said that since yesterday (Saturday), the timings have been reduced. You now get 45 minutes in the room, and the phone is rung after 30 minutes.
I was sceptical about this guy being in any sort of managerial capacity. But I had gotten fed up with the whole thing by now and thanked him and left.
So, my question, gentlemen. Have any of you been to Classic this weekend, and how much time did you get there?
