BKK-noob here. Going in a few days. Just wondering if there are any us type strip clubs in BKK? Preferrably near nana / cowboy, or at least near a MRT / BTS station. Sure there will be a lot of mongering but variation is nice. Sometimes you just want to sit back, relax, have a few drinks, get a lapdance or two and flirt with the girls WITHOUT later dissapointing them when they find out you're not barfining them.

I go to Thailand to specifically avoid US type places.

Sounds like this is going to be a pleasant surprise for you. Better go back a few months and read all the threads.

Also go to Thailand to get away from U.S. joints.

Keep on paying some LD and they stick a little while with you, a BF will not be outrageously expensive to secure she stays there with you, but still you will need to give her some tip to rub her naked body.

The some of the GoGo's in BKK offer full nude dancing on stage, some topless and most others offer bikini dancers. The main advantage these clubs have over the strip clubs in the US is that you can sit with you selected playtoy and molest her, while buying her drinks. If you like her vibe, you can take her back to your room and fuck the snot out of her, often for a lot less than the same in the US. I know P4P is available in the US stripclubs, but it isn't as readily available as in LOS. Plus, you don't have to worry about the police hassling you for the most part in Thailand. Most strippers, in the US stripclubs, can only see the letters ATM stamped on your forehead as you walk into the club, and they most likely can't / won't leave the club to fuck you. While their Thai counterparts still see the ATM sign on you, the best part is you can fantasize about them on stage and then go live the fantasy when you fuck them.

After mongering in LOS over the last 10 years, when friends drag me into a US stripclub, I seldom see anything worth wasting any lap dance money on, especially since I have little chance of fucking her.

You can check out the girls dancing nude first before calling one over in bars like Suzie Wong, Long Gun, etc. In Soi Cowboy near Sukhumvit Asoke intersection (runs between Soi 21 and 23). Certain girls may be prepared to sit on your lap nude if give them drinks or tip them. Can even take girls upstairs to fuck them in some bars.

If you don't bar-fine them, they may run away to another customer at anytime, if a very popular girl. Barfining is only 600 Baht (20 bucks) so it can be a good idea if you want to keep the girl for some time even if you don't want sex.

Not many customers are avoiding sex unless have no money, or with business associates or friends, or simply didn't find the right girl. I often take 2 girls at the same time, if they like each other. Why limit yourself? There are short time hotels located very close if you cannot take the girl back to your normal hotel.

If you don't BF the girl, sure she will be dissappointed. That's normal and happens a lot. Its your right to keep looking around until you find the one you really want to screw. You can call over more than 1 girl for a drink and ultimately choose just one for BF.

There are also blow-job bars where can get a blow job right there in the bar, once your shyness starts to evaporate.

I know this post is off topic, but does anybody have experience using United Airlines Award travel getting to Bangkok from SFO / USA? There does not seem to be any ISG threads related to this topic except for the travel announcements but there is more post traffic here. I also tried a search on all Thai threads only to wade through pages and pages of unrelated topics.

I have not used awards in years and most likely there are some nice tips / tricks to get the most bang for my frequent flyer buck. I am also thinking of possible advantages via the many airline partners that might be used. Seems most UA flights arrive at a horrible time. Just short of midnight! That sucks.
