Trip report, 3 weeks in Jakarta in October 2025.
Second trip in this city.
I wanted to check more places this time, but felt lazy and been a bit hooked by Classic's ambiance, so almost exclusively went to Classic (T2 and T5), Travel and once in Kota Indah during my last Week.
13 different girls, 2 of them that I have sessionned 3 times each (both from T5) and one that I could repeat only once (in T2).

From airport to town.
I thought I had the good stuff by going to the dedicated grab waiting area outside the airport. Last trip I took the Bluebird VIP (the first boot when exiting the airport) and paid 288 K, so Grab Premium is a bit cheaper, I'll stick to this one (or the equivalent one from Gojek, just meters away).
In town.
I used the Grab car once, when I moved from my hotel in Gajah Mada to Wahid Asyim, and it took me more than an hour at one pm on a weekday. I never took another car anymore after that experience.
Motorbike.
I took a simcard (150 K for 1 month, 8 Go) in the Telkom boot in the airport just to be able to open the Gojek application.
But I've been lazy to do it, so I used Grab cash for a long time, until I felt annoyed to keep a big stash of small notes just for these guys. So I set the Gojek app (very quick and easy to do BTW), but I've been surprised to see it's 30% more expensive than Grab on most of my trips (There is the Grab Hemat option, while Gojek does not have an Hemat option), so I very rarely used Gojek in the end.
A few months ago, I've read some posts saying Grab cashless sucks and doesn't work great, and that's the Reason I even didn't check it myself. But then I took the time to link my card with the Grab app and it worked instantly and seamlessly. Never had any payment problems with it, and I'll stick to it for my future trips (I use the wize card). There's a difference of price when you go cashless with Grab, for a fare of 9 K by cash, it will become 9200 or 9300 by credit card.
From town to airport.
I initially booked a Grab car, but the guy that took the fare was far. After 25 minutes he was still very far although it should have taken him only 11 minutes total, so I cancelled the sucker (there's a 3 K fee to cancel), but there was very few grab cars available.
So I checked Gojek and took Gojek instead, the guy came quickly and everything went fine.
So it's a good thing to keep these two apps fully working, when one is not available, you can still use the other one.
