I've been to Rio 3 times, with many great experiences. I was contemplating a fourth trip this April but due to the increase in the value of the real in comparison to the dollar and the price of flights, I can't get any friends to go and have agreed to try DR in April with my friends. I've traveled to Rio by myself before but the currency issue is a problem so I decided to try an apparently more reasonably priced location which due to its proximity will allow me to have a longer vacation.

Of course, I'll be back to Rio as I can't stay aware for long(probably fall or winter of next year). In the meantime, here are some pictures of all the fun I have had in the Marvelous City these past couple of years.

More picts of those marvelous Rio days and nights. I'm a relatively young monger so I will hopefully have many years of mongering in Rio to come but I'm going to take a break this time around and try the carribean. Hope everyone enjoys these picts as much as I enjoyed taking them. Ate Logo gents.

I leave in Brazil. Actually I'm a Brazilian but let's go the fact mentioned here.

First caipirinha is a tipical brazilian drink and very easy to make and more important very cheap. To make it you only need:

1- Cachaça
2- limão ( lemons )
3- açucar ( sugar )
4- gelo moido ou quebradinho ( crushed ice )

You mixed all and enjoy. But a litle tip for you pals. Try to mix with and make it the big taste for lemon because cachaça get you drunk quickly. And too much sugar don't let the drink very good. With some practice you will get a very nice " caipirinha ". Another good tip don't drink it fast enjoy it. And check the price people alway get the price higher when your are a " gringo " (people for other country) so in the streets always say the price for a medium cup first. I use to pay $4 reais to $5 reais. But in clubs you will probably take it for $10 reais or more normally is more like $12 to $14. Each club has a price.

Now a tip for girls cheaps and pretty. For $20 to $25 reais each girls for like 15 minutes or a litle more. It's a fast sex. But you can get a lot of girls. The place it's not beautifull. But you can take some womens there to others places like hotels. But the you get a very litle room. Fuck quicly. BJ with codom (camisinha). Maybe if you ask and for be a gringo (people from other coutry) she let you without it and sometime if you negociate you take her in the ass but for a litle while. There is just for fast sex.

For you is better go the at day. I think that the good women are not there in the day but is more safety. But if you go with a brazilian or someone tha know there you can go at night by cab or taxi. But it's good. Not a beautifull place. It's kind a dirty. But it's good. I like more take then to a women for $200 reais. The with that I fuck 4 women. Last time I went the I fucked a woman that was really hot. Man she gave me BJ without codom and let me put on her ass. They don't let CIM but if you take her to a hotel maybe she will do it. One time I take a black lady and was awsome she is like the " mulatas " in carnival. I neve take it a woman in brazil that was a mulata and really hot.

I know other place in Rio enter (centro). Not very expensive but sometime you see a lady that's was not you look at it. Because they use photoshop so very carefull. Go to place indicated by friends.

It's the Feira de São Cristovão. There play every kind of music. It's a lot of bars with tipical northern food. And nice womens. But you have ugly ones too it's normal but fun. Usually play the northern rhitims. The name is Forró.

Go there with brazilian or with a group or friends. You can drink very cheap. Eat cheap. And take womens. The we have a trick. When gets late like 3 am if you do'nt have lucky with pretty womens with 20 to 28 you can try the olders. Women there with 44 and afters some drinks get pretty laughs. I get one there and have right there abou 5 am. But if don't take any women don't worry. Will be a very nice night there is fun and diferent for you. And I think gringos have lucky with brazilian. My friend once time pretend he was german lolz he is very blong guy like russians somente ou germans. And I said to a pretty lady that he was german and would like to dance eith here. He went there try to speak english. And I said that he said if he could kiss her and she let he do it.

Imagine you in a springbreak it's kind off that but with less pretty ladies. I know spring break from videos in internet

Drink a lot and have some fun in Feira de São cristovão.

Hey I almost forget you pay $ 1 real. Yes that it one real to enter.

Maybe with your friends and a nice lady you will expend $ 50 reais in a night. Plus going out with here with a hotel. More $150. Or less. If how much the hotel is and taxi. And where is the hotel and etc.

I sugest brazilian friends together to know where is closer to go and for which hotel you are going.

[/QUOTE]Nice info. I have gone to Feira many times, it is fun. I typicically find more fun with family or friends, it seems to me (gringo) to be more of a fun and famiily place.
It is only open 24 hours: Fri and Sat. Sunday (until 11pm but entry only until 8pm). Maybe thursday. Fri or Sat nights are when you want to go.

When you enter there are hundreds of stalls selling things and playing music very loud. There are a lot of restaraunts near the two live band stages, wander there and eat and watch the show.

I have never heard other than Forro on the two main stages. Sometimes a show with dancers. There are smaller bars around but most forro too.
If you have time, go there, have a good cheap meal. If you do not speak portuguese, you will have a tough time understanding anything.
