San Salvador

Here is Robert's card and info. He is a calm and practical guy very experienced in all things El Salvador. Without him I would not have done most of the things I got to do. I will upload his business card if anyone wants to enjoy HIS El Salvador in the future. Habla English and very smart guy who can show you the ropes of El Salvador.

I will admit the days were so exhilarating that I missed my flight to Medellin by 24 hours. (my itinerary was a week in ES and then a week in Col) There was so much on my mind about the experiences I lived that I thought I had an extra day in ES (I didn't). During my time in San Salvador I was too busy to re-check my itinerary and so I missed my flight by a day. Really embarrassing and troubling (not to mention costly) that I could make such a mistake.

So to clarify where I am at this point in my TR, I have spent 4 days / nights in San Salvador and the plan was for me to spend one last day / night at my brother's casa in La Liberdad, a coastal town. He has a nice house in a gated community w / in a couple hundred yards of the beach.

La Liberdad is 40 minutes from the airport, a straight shot down the coast, I leave at 5 am the next day in my rent a car.

Here are a few other pics of places I really liked. The beaches near La Liberdad are awesome esp El Tunco are world class surfing destination. If you like the beach and perfect 8 foot waves coming in in groups of 3, nice and clean to body surf on then El Tunco is the place. El Salvador has black sand beaches and they are awesome. For the price of a beer ($1) you can park your rental under a thatched roof shack and picnic or whatever. The restaurants on the malacon in La Liberdad were incredible, great fish dishes.

Probably my best pic of the trip. My brother's wife and I just got out of the car and walking down the road to the beach I saw these guys in this restaurant. I leaned up close and asked if I could take their picture, and then just took it, their expressions are telling. This is also El Salvador.

Oh, I just didn't hit and run, we chatted a bit. They confirmed my thoughts about low tide being the best time to enjoy the perfect 10 footers of El Tunco.

More shots of La Liberdad and a place called LOS Charros, not far from San Salvador. LOS Charros is a series of beautiful public swimming pools at the base of a volcano and the water comes from little waterfalls from the volcano. It is quite unique.

The beaches are lined w / family owned businesses that allow your car under their thatched roof parking areas. They sell beer, food and even have little rooms to change clothes and get a BJ from your date. I think the rooms go for a buck too. These are safe areas that you can relax in. South of these beaches is a long long beach called San Diego and it is very remote but w / similar family owned operations but you can get robbed there.

My brother's in laws were robbed at gun point on San Diego beach about a year ago. El Tunco and Majahaul beach are in the La Liberdad area and are considered safe. El Salvador is a dicey country, so beautiful with great women but you got to be on your toes there.

I'm no expert there but I have enjoyed some unusual adventures close to San Salvador. On my last 2 trips that included a few days in San Salvador and then to Colombia, the hottest women I fucked were in San Salvador. I think the El Salvadorian pussy is just as good as anywhere.

That said, I want to try it although, El Salvador is #2 on the murder rate list for young men, right behind Honduras. My business partner was down two years ago and could not shake the uneasiness from perceived danger.

A Salvadoran friend tells me the same, he would like to retire there as it is so beautiful, but it is too dangerous still.

Getting bored with the Costa Rica, Colombia Carribean Islands thing and need to venture out. Everyone tells me Nicaragua is not much fun.

Hoping to glean more info and make a trip.

There aren't too many gringos down there so depending on how you dress and how white you are will determine whether you draw action to yourself. That's the same in Colombia too but there's a lot more prosperity in Colombia. I am a street type of guy and in no way tough or battle ready. I want to do my thing and be a positive part of wherever I am. The ES murder rate is high because of the gangs, they do whatever they want apparently.

In my travels w / a guide I never felt uneasy but I was warned more than once to not be so friendly as to talk to a stranger. If you feel comfortable in San Jose Costa Rica then you should be able to enjoy SS and the beaches etc. The casas are great w / very nice sexy women and the strip club also has really fantastic talent, it's called Lips. So a 4 day excursion to El Salvador would be really easy if coming from the west coast. For hotels Novo Apart is very safe and in a decent neighborhood, close to malls and casas like Fresh Kiss, Sol, La Oficina etc. Everything is about a $5 cab ride away.

The beach is 30 minutes to the west over a big mountain and a great way to spend some time.

I hear Nicaragua is pretty good so that is on my "to do list".

I am sure most mongers would have no problem exploring San Salvador during the day and in taxi at night.

I'm planning to be in San Salvaddor for a couple of days during the middle of December. I think I have picked out Kiss Fresh and Lips as day time and night time mongering. Just a few questions:

1) Hotels.

I'm looking for a hotel where I can bring the chica back if needed. I'm hoping not to spend more than 30 $-40 $. I don't need much, just wifi and chica friendly. Not big on hotels. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. Do normal hotels in San Salvador let chicas in?

2) Casas.

I read there are two other casas. Sol and La Oficiana. Do people know their addresses? If I ask taxi driver these will he know where to go? Is Sol the same as Special Touch??

3) All night rate.

Does anyone know the all night rate? I'm hoping to bring a chica back from lips for an all night. Not sure how much to negotiate.

Thanks,[/QUOTE]If cheap is the most important try Villa Florencia. Its clean, safe and well run but, not in a real convenient location or around any attractions. Pretty much no frills...There are two. Book the one in Central its cheaper than the one in Zona Rosa. You will pay about $25-$30 a night. Every Hotel in SS is girl friendly except Intercontinental Real, which will charge you a $50 guest fee.

Any Taxi driver will know where La Oficina is. Its a few miles at most from Lips. I am not sure if Taxi drivers will know where Sol is but just google the address.

I suppose you can make a deal with a Kiss Fresh chica for after they close. (they close around 9 pm), management won't appreciate it much but it can be done.

You will not be able to pull any girls out of lips. Again, you might be able to make a deal for after they close at 3 or 4 am but, it will cost you between $100-$300 depending on quality and mood of the girl. You will have to use your negotiating skills and decent spanish. I would not recommend Kiss Fresh or Lips for take out. They are not set up for that. You can scroll through some of the old posts myself and others have made and find out better places to pull chicas from.

But last time I was so busy that I skipped the place and kind of regret it now. It's just nice to see how beautiful the chicas from ES can be, 8's and 9's can be found there.

Both of these had 10 chicas a few months ago and very doable ones.

Also there are some free lance areas that might be worth pursuing. There are other guys on this board that are more familiar.
