I don't fly half way around the world and battle terrible jet lag for 3 days to lay with chubby girls or stray dogs (girls) by train tracks! I endure these inconveniences to get the best quality spinner that I can find. So if similar quality girls in my home city are between 600-800 USD and I can find the same caliber of girls here for 100-200 USD equivalent. Then the trip was well worth it. Just as 5 star hotels here are the equivalent cost of low budget hotels in my home city. It's all relative and I do appreciate value.

Ok so there are TWO Malio elevators and no Malioboro elevators? OK forget it, ill subpoena the architectural drawings from the Malioboro Hotel. Note I only saw one hooker bar there, ther circular "lounge" with DJ pit in the center.

Sheesh![/QUOTE]I agree it is a confusing sort of a place and yes, the strip club is in another building (adjacent and connected to the main entrance building), for ease of understanding I will describe my 2 visits in a short summary:

1. I went to the strip club area, which is on a higher floor in adjacent building, there are guards on each floor they guide you. One may not find it himself in 2-3 visits also, but this place is not ideal for the action unless you want to kill some time, but the shots girls surround you very quickly over there and as soon as you stop the shots they disappear. I saw some japanese guys coddling a stunner CIS chick and I had half a mind to take her but she was busy and vanished in a lift with them. Girls over here also go to rooms but they are expensive.

2. In my second visit the reception people suggested me to go to the lounge (I was not sure if they were talking about the above or something else but to my pleasant surprise it was a different floor (2nd or 1st I don't recollect, but you tell them Lounge and you will be guided to the right place)., I just went back for that CIS chick otherwise I had written off Malio. They also call it the lounge officially, but the place has a restaurant+bar like setup with regular height tables / chairs and all. Upon entry girls are on the left side, upfront are the CIS girls, and then there are the Viet and other SEA chicks past them.

I think Malio and Malioboro are the same, first one is just the short name.

There is also similar named hotels in Jakarta that got me all mixed up and confused. My Taxi took me to the wrong hotel. Or it was my mistake. It was 50/50 chance to get it right.

It's not bad, though, and a bit quieter than 2 and 3. I've been there a few times. The rooms are very nice, and the women were nice too. The mamasan usually ignore you and only come when you want them to. Which is a bit strange and might keep foreigners away. A local pays 400, a foreigner 600.
