I am there for a short trip for 3 days and I don't think I will have time to take them out for a whole evening But where I am struggling is, how easy it is to find good ones. In BKK / Pattaya, I can walk into a gogo bar or use MR site or smoochi or bunch of other sites to get them on telegram and figure out the rest. How is that in Manila?

I don't want to land up thinking I should have gone back to BKK again. So I was hoping to hear opinions from folks who have been to both places.

Where are good quality gogo bars in Manila? I see mention of P Burgos st, is that the only street? And if so, then which ones are the good ones?

However its much more common in Phils in general than anywhere else. Certainly you aren't getting that routinely in your home country, or in countries where you don't speak the language. For a three-day trip, Burgos would be your best bet or going for freelancers around Midnight Haven in Malate. Just read through previous posts.

I don't do the bar scene but have never had a problem finding a FL on Pina Love in Manila for about 3-4 k for a few hours of action on average.

Haven't done BKK as The Phils has always satisfied and I have a grasp of the language.

I'm sure some other senior members who have a better knowledge of the bar scene in both countries will assist, or advise you to take the time to read through the forum listings to find some hints.

A few simple differences:

1) BKK has many times more gogo bars than Makati (Manila). Makati's Burgos Ave (the home of the gogos) has approximately 14-15 gogos. Angeles City has about. . . 35? Someone correct the AC number if needed. Makati gogos operate on the same barfine system as BKK (barfine paid to the bar, additional tip paid to the girl in your room upon completion of service). Both BKK (6,000 baht) and Burgos (10,000 pesos) gogos cost about the same in total for LT: About $200 USD. Angeles City costs about half of that, p5,000 or $100 USD, and the barfine + tip are paid all at once, up front in the bar.

2) Thai girls are considered prettier by almost everyone, including me. Bigger susus, better faces, flatter tummies. Thai engrish is typically not good. Thai girl's are more transactional regarding non-intimate sex. Filipinas speak a limited pidgeon-engrish, and are generally more playful in and out of the bed.

3) Transportation and food are generally better in Thailand.

4) Both BKK (Thermae) and Manila (LA Cafe or its new name Midnight Haven in Malate City) are similar freelance bars.

They do have Smoochi, Manila Courtesans and many others that operate the same. Like for like, costs are about double what you could negotiate yourself face to face in a bar.

As others have said, P Burgos is designed for guys arriving in town with more money than time. Lots of pretty and fun girls but, again, no where near the size of the BKK scene and most would argue that they are more GFE but not as attractive as their BKK sisters. Not ugly by any stretch just not as hot as her Thai sisters. Which bar changes on an hourly basis. Like BKK bars', atmosphere change quickly and girls moved around a lot. The street is very walkable so just walk next door if you don't like what you are seeing.

Only going for three days raises an important question: what's your reason for going? If you want to try something new, then it makes sense to have a break and try MNL. If you're simply chasing the best and easiest access to high quality pussy, then just spend the extra time in BKK or even have a 3 day weekend in Pattaya.

I don't find the bars very convenient though. It's only one road but too far for lazy me to walk from one end to the other. I just concentrate on one end at a time.

I enjoy it but agree it's no good for a short three day visit for a newbie.

I guess for this short trip, I should stick with tested venues then, BKK / Pattaya. I will be in Taipei for work, so thought of adding a few days to MNL instead. It seems, MNL will require about a week to fish through good ones especially for the very first visit. Next time, will plan better.

I had searched for gogo bars in this thread, but for some reason I guess I missed more details. I wish there was a wiki / guide page for newcomers to MNL. Maybe one of you MNL veterans can think about that.
