Visiting SP in October for a short time
I'll be landing at Congonhas on 23 October and leaving for the USA On 25 October. I've been doing my RTFF in this section and taking many notes. I really have only one day and two nights to experience what SP has to offer so I'll try for the places and people you all recommend. I speak Portuguese so I'm hoping that will give me an edge.
One question: I didn't see Nuru massage come up when I was looking at the clinicas. Is it offered, and is it a real-live Nuru massage? Is mutual touch allowed? Real-live Nuru massage seems rare in my part of the USA And is expensive once it's found, so I want to take advantage of opportunity in SP (Rio, too) if available.
I'll post a full report when I get back to the USA.
Quick Cheatsheet on SP Big 3
Casarao. 60 for entry. 60 can be used towards consumable. They only have drinks here, although Monday they do have some bbq food. Midnight is primetime.
Gauguin: 150 before 9 PM. 350 after. Consumable only applies to drinks. I think primetime here is 11 PM.
Scandallo. 400 before 7 PM. 600 after. Consumable applies to food and drinks. Only went once, so can't really make recommendation.
Given that Casarao is the most accessible, this venue will probably give you the highest chances of encountering a semi-pro.
