It is Pre exposure prophylaxis against HIV which is approved by US FDA and is effective for more than 95%.

Truvada (Tenofovir300 MG + Emtricitabine 200 MG) for MSM and Inj. Users or Tenofovir 300 alone for heterosexual males and females.

To be started about 2 weeks before Mongering. And beware it still require you to use a condom. In case it bursts then you have another shield in your tissues and blood.

There is another thing called the Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) in which one has to start treatment within 72 hrs of exposure and medicines to be taken for 1 month (Ziduvudine+ Lamuvudine combination) just google and have lots of information.

Many of those anti HIV meds have major side effects, basically feeling significantly sick for weeks. Doctors wouldn't advise taking PEP unless your risk was significant, for instance having been exposed to fluids of an HIV patient, shared a needle with a bunch of injecting drug users, or had unprotected anal sex with a promiscuous person.

Not sure how serious PrEP side effects are, but doubt it's something so mild you'd care to take it just in case a condom breaks. In real world use, a bit of lubricant (KY Jelly) could provide better protection: preventing the breakage to begin with, with zero side effects apart from increased comfort.

My tip for avoiding thrush, is don't stay out in sticky conditions for too long and change damp underwear as soon as possible. Wash with mildly acidic stuff, not alkaline soaps. Female genital wash products like Lactacid can be used by males too. If Nizoral is mildly acidic or neutral, that would be good, however it is not recommemded for daily use I believe.

For many years since I stopped using a cake of soap (fungus likes alkaline), have had very few fungal infections if any. Reduced sugar diet also helps a lot, most likely.

Canestine cream is normal treatment of already have thrush, or similar anti-fungal.

Loss of hair is a fact of life and once my doctor told me that loss of the hair on your head is (partially) caused by a high testosterone level. Strangely enough, high testosterone level promotes body and facial hair, but your scalp hair is of a different kind.

There are only a few medically proven treatments to (somewhat) prevent hair loss. Side-effects include impotence and loss of libido and treatment has to be done on a regular (once of twice a day!) basis.
