2006 Bangkok Reports

As there is a little chat about food now, I can add a funny experience at the Yok Yor Marina. I brought a date there (from Bacchus, Soi 33).

Setting is nice on the river, although run down, but food is fantastic as it happens where (a) there are many Thais, and (b) it's a big place with high seafood turnover and a lot of staff.

Great softcrab (recommended by Mr Guido...), crab curry, pinnacle for me was a kind of sour seafood cocomilk soup. Prices are reasonable for a river-side dinner, and my date was happy, translating in good fuck after (although it was P4P, she added some voluntarism, loved foreplay - only issue is that I found the pussy over-sized compared to my expectations considering the body measurement).

Now, another interesting part is that beside my preferred al-fresco location, the restaurant also have an indoor place, and some action is happening there: from 7 to 9 pm, 2 frantic go-go girls whom you can't escape when you go to the bathrooms - also there seems to be some hostesses there. It seems Asian oriented, but the go-go girls were all smiling and waiving kisses to me, so I guess that they are open to some falang experience.

Did anyone try? Otherwise, I might decide to have a go - although going there alone is not advisable for the food because large portions. Well, if a gastronomic monger is interested, just pm me.

Well, after a satisfying session with Miss Nymph from Giotto's Sports Bar, into the wee hours, and a refreshing long sleep, I went wandering down Suk, buying gifts and generally wandering. Made it as far as Biergarten in Soi 7. I cannot see how the renovations have improved the place - main difference is it now has a roof.

Other difference is that last time I was there (over a year ago), there were about 15 girls. Yesterday about 7pm there were about 50 girls, and many of them very very nice. (I don't know why the place gets a bad rap on this board). Well, I've only been to BKK twice and the second time was in November. I visited the Biergarten on Soi 7 for the first time and met some cuties! I'm 52 and look younger. A fairly attractive guy. There were some cuties in there.

But. How much do you guys pay for ST or LT? I guess I need to know. I'll be back in Feb.

Just to be clear due to transliteration, you mean the Soi that is between the expressway (also former Soi 0) and Wittayu (Wireless), right? But, I think this place is just east of Wittayu, right?

Agreed, and 50 was a bare minimum at any hour I dropped by. I realize an old, fat, bald, oilfield engineer like you might have problems hooking up with the ladies, but there were some real gems at the BGS7. ;)

Seriously, it became my base during my visit. Though I actually never concluded negotiations with anyone from there (most seem to prefer ST while I am a LT (yes it does take me a while) type of guy) it was always nice to see what was available on the market before heading out, searching for my BFN.

I also suggest the lime juice (Na Manao) as a general elixer. :)

I just returned from Bangkok and thought I share my experience with the board.

Friday:

I got there at 1:00 in the afternoon and checked into the Pathuwman . I had contemplated taking the airport bus but after consulting with the hot babe behind the travel info desk I decided to take the Airport taxi. Somehow I don’t think lugging 55lb of luggage from the bus to the skytrain would have been a great idea. It cost me about B400 with the road toll to get to the hotel, not bad. I had just been in Phuket and was pretty oriented as far as the hours went. It was time to begin my real vacation.

My criteria for my first time was that I wanted something upscale with as much TLC as I could get. A Plaza soapie sounded like what I was after. I bought a BTS together with a MTR pass and was off. After about an hour or so I managed to find the Prince hotel and the Plaza Complex. I went from the MTR station to the Prince on foot. I have to say I almost gave up a couple of times as the area has very poor lighting and walking in that area at night is quite creepy. By the time I found the place it had turned quite dark. When I entered the Plaza, there must have been at least 50 girls on one side and a dozen behind the glass. I saw a lot of 7’s and couple of 8’s . I decided to check out upstairs and I am not sure but I think this was Delilah. However there were no signs to suggest anything. Well, the movers came yesterday afternoon, packed up all my stuff, and I suddenly found myself homeless. "No problem, I thought - I'll just call Livingstones".

So, after more than a year of maintaining an apartment in Bangkok, and being a semi-regular visitor of the Sports Bar and benefactor of Giotto's famous hospitality, I finally stayed at Livingstones Lodge on Sukhumvit Soi 33.

Being that my TGF was in attendance, the festivities were somewhat ah, limited. However, I had a "deluxe" room, which was spacious, clean, and was stocked with 3 sets of bath towels (nudge, nudge, Thor93) to service the jacuzzi/spa thingie that looked like it was designed for two, but could fit 4. Or 6, depending on how cozy one wanted to be.

Alas, it had been a very long and busy day, and we chose to retire to the comfy bed rather than engage in water activities (but I should've asked if down pillows were available - foam pillows just don't work for me).

TGF couldn't figure out the spa plumbing anyway (what is it about TGs: they just can't seem to handle more than one water spigot!). I couldn't quite get why the bathroom floor had 6 levels, tho (OK, it was only 3, but I found one on my way to the toilet late at night).

Oh, and Piper, you'll be happy to know my 5:30am wake up call was only a couple minutes late. ;^)

All-in-all, a good place to stay at a reasonable price, and highly recommended. I'll be staying there when I can get back to BKK. The late-night giggling adds to the atmosphere, for sure! ;^)

In the meantime, I'm trying to keep a stiff upper lip, since I haven't seen much in the UK to make other body parts stiff (well, OK, I exagerate slightly, but not whole lot.)

Having had a bummer Saturday, I was getting depravation pains. For God’s sake this was Bangkok, a man should not have these kinds of days. Little did I know I was about to be taught another important lesson on this day. This was New Years eve and I wanted to get what I needed and then hit the parties.

As Angels was sighted quite a few times, I decided on this MP and off I went. After getting off the BTS I spent an hour in the hot sun looking for this SOI. Monday

Monday was another write off. Determined not to play the heat stroke card again I started using taxis. I took one to the Prince hotel and had the driver drop me off at the lobby. All the time that I am in the car, the driver keeps pushing Cupididy. Are you sure you don’t want to go to Cupididy was the question he must asked about 15 times. I assured him no. I check my wallet and ask if they take cards. To which he replies a 10% surcharge will be levied. That was it I had enough and left for the evening. Too bad there were a couple of potentials there. Dissatisfied I walked into, I think it was called Empire, massage. As expected only 5’s 6’s were there so I decided to keep my money and left.

Tuesday- The final day

As you can imagine I was pretty desperate by now. This was my final day in the much hyped up Bangkok and I really had not gotten my fill. Rum Rudi is between Wireless Road and the expressway. However, it curves and intersects Wireless after a couple of Kilometers. This is where you will find Neil's. It's pretty close to Wireless. If you go to Neil's be prepared to spend a lot of $$$.

I spent a few days here for a transit flight to Egypt around Chrismas. Have not been in BKK for quite a long while so I was expecting to get some nice Thai cuties. But again the sex scene in general is disappointing.

I spent about 1 whole days going around many soapies looking for a nice cutie with nice figure. After hunting in so many countries with gorgeous stunners, I don't like to compromise on a short stay. There was only a girl at 3000 bahts that I consider worth doing but nowhere nearly the super cutie level. The shop was really crowded with groups of Chinese. Koreans ect. When I was about to call this 3000 baht semi-cutie, someone else called her already. So I decided to moved on to Poseidon.

Entered the shop at about 10PM, the place was packed like sardines in the second floor with almost no girls on display. The papasan told me all working so I walked to the back to another shop. I think its called Copacabana. There were only 3 very so so sidelines at 3000 each and a few unattractive ones in the fish tank.

By this time I was getting tired of the search and decided to go to CM2 at Novotel Siam to end the night. Was there about midnight and lots of workers there. I was a bit disappointed that Thailand has become so hard to get a nice cutie, compared to recent years that I have also conqured the China scenes and the over abundance and availability of stunners there.

For the finale I left CM2 and check out the Siam Hotel scene. Most of the girls have moved to the back of the hotel along the railroad track. Must have about one hundred girls all along the railroad track. There were some cuties but no one was cheerful and friendly. Still this is a very Thai place.
