But I also took Spanish all four years of high school, and 2 years worth in college and lived in Miami for 9 years so I know most of the base words. It's just really hard to understand some of the accents. But when I speak they understand me so I must be doing ok.

Considering a trip to Brazil this year since it doesn't look like Thailand will be open anytime soon. Have been doing research and am looking for some advice.

Hotels: This will be my first time in Brazil (SA in fact). I know zero Portuguese, will be learning some basics but I figured a hotel would save me some headache compared to a rental. Based on recent reports I've got Porto Bay, Hilton, and Marriott on the list while Windsor group is out. Pestana seems to be another commonly recommended choice but I'm not a huge fan of the reviews and would prefer a better maintained place. I would also get some perks with the bigger chains. Wanted to see if any members have additional suggestions to widen the pool a bit.

Accessibility: I'm Asian and will probably stick out like a sore thumb in Brazil. I assume big cities and Rio and SA should be easily accessible but wondering if hobbying will be difficult, like in other places such as Japan and Korea, where either being a native, or being fluent in the language is a prereq to getting into some establishments.

Timing: Currently planning on around New Years, or just after New Years. I'm assuming Christmas will be a bad time given the country's religion, but would New Years or after New Years be a bad time as well?

I asked her to stay for 2 hours once I saw the pictures were not photo shopped in fact they did not even do her justice. Wow what a body. Good session would repeat would recommend. Tipped $200. Then headed to Paris Cafe club. It was busy. When I arrived the door man kept telling me to watch out inside narcageim (only guessing spelling) was there. I paid it no mind I was there for pussy not to interact with other customers. They mix their drinks super strong, the music and lighting is good. You can wear normal clothes and smoke. Definitely my favorite environment so far. There are no 10's to be had. Mostly 7's. And below. I was approached by a thick but fit Negra. She was super cool we had many good laughs. Then I noticed a thick blonde with a really pretty face. Decided I wanted to give her a facial so off we went. 1 hour was 340 or so I think. Session was good but I could not pop, combination of too much drink and too much action I guess. She sucked and fucked for the whole hour like a champ though. I could feel she was feeling embarrassed so I gave her 100 tip and told her I was too drunk. Went back to club part bought her, Negra and English speaking girl from previous night another drink and decided I wanted the thick dark lips around my member so I took Negra for 30 minutes. Still didn't pop but man she could get it. Total for drinks and 30 minutes was 618. I remember because the girl behind the counter was insisting I take the 2 reai note. 2. I agree paying 400 r and tipping 200 r is overpaying. I can see it being enthusiasm on a short term trip. That said, I don't judge, I report what I am doing. I appreciate all the reports from old and new.

Some folks on this board have managed, but my friend and his girl got kicked out at Hilton, although, to be fair, he was drunk like fuck. If you're not planning on bringing girls, then both hotels are perfectly fine, although Marriott's location is better IMHO. Also all Hilton rooms are oceanfront, and if you're gold or diamond, you'll enjoy free breakfast and happy hour.

And no, hobbying will not be difficult for you. Rio is a cosmopolitan city, and girls will be happy to take your money. It's nothing like Japan.
