What is wrong with this forum? No one is posting anymore.

I haven't played the field so much anymore since I have a regular paybee (AG's phrase) and a super hot freebie, but what about all the other brothers?

This place gets less action than the Uzbekistan forum....lets show the board what mongers are like in Taipei.

I appreciate you keeping us positive, but Taipei must be the worst major city in Asia for hobbyists. However, there is finally a ray of hope. As mentioned, Taiwan is decriminalizing prostitution. There will be red light districts as early as 2010, and they claim to be lightening up during the transition (has anyone seen any evidence of this?). Here are some newspaper articles with details.

Straight up. Local conditions are so stark, and Manila/PRC are only short flights away. To any visitors who ask, I simply recommend keeping their powder dry for a trip to those other locations.

For those of us based here, I would suggest it makes the most sense to 'settle in' with 1-2 regular providers of one sort or another.

I've got a nice Filipina gf who has just secured a new employer. Now she will be free on most weekends for an overnight. I'll put her up in an inexpensive hotel and then partake at my convenience over that ~24hr period. Not something really worth posting about on a regular basis.

Lets all hope.

But most hookers dont want to go legit, you have to pay taxes and many are "part-time" (like my paybee). And many still dont want to be labeled as such. Anyways heres hoping that it passes and supply gets better.

I tend to disagree that legaization will have a negative impact.

1. People suggling will decrease. There are a great number of Chinese females smuggled here to enter the sex trade. They are kept virtual prisoners and the police bust these rings on a routine basis.

2. Disease will decrease. In those areas of the world where prostitution is legalized and controlled, desease decreases. Last I read, Las Vegas sex trade has never had a sigle incidence of AIDS acquired in the legal industry. Monthly health checks should be required to maintain the license.

3. Taxes will increase. True, prices may increase but I really don't think so. As competition increases, more women will enter the trade as there are many many single or poor working mothers here with a minimum wage of about 80 NT per hour.competition will more than make up for the increase in price due to the tax.

4. Police corruption will decrease. There are many, perhaps thousands, of illegal brothel/KTV establishments in Taipei County alone. Anybody who has lived here has seen the paddy wagon and 20 police on scoots raid a KTV. 1/2 hour later, BMWs and Benzes start pulling up with women carrying in bags. Obvious to me that it was a payoff, especially when all the police mount up and depart a short time later. This happens on a regular basis. Perhaps the reduction in payoffs will more than make up for the increase in taxes.

BTW, Many of you may know that the sex trade used to be legal in Taiwan. In 1997, when Abien (President Chen) was mayor of Taipei, he gave the industry 2 years to re-train for a 1999 law making it illegal. In 1999, the law too effect but he was the President and expanded the law to all of Taiwan. It was pretty un-regulated back then and problems existed. He is currently awaiting trial on corruption charges. Large mixed opinion here about his current incarceration. I say "follow the money".
About 2 months ago when the new KMT President Ma joined with some of the trade groups and other organizations to legalize it again, he said he would let the people of an area decide if they wanted the trade in their particular areas. He also ordered that police stop harrassing the girls. Also, here, police from one "precinct" can go into another to make busts. If they do, they get extra points on their career record. This was supposed to reduce corruption. It didn't. Now they have been ordered to not stray from their "precint" for making arrests in the sex trade. No extra points.
Also, previously, only the girls got arrested. The guy walked. Now, with the new policy of non-harrassment, pending the new legislation, things have calmed down and it is more open than before. Still illegal but with a more tolerant view. The guy still walks even in the event of an arrest of the girl.

NIMBYs will abound I sure. But I think we will see it legalized in South Taipei County, Banciao and Tuchen. Probably also over in the industrial area of Wogu and Linkou, due to the high number of blue collars. The traditional areas prior to 1999 also remember the "good old days" of high traffic tourism and will also probably allow it. In particular the Lungshan (Snake Alley) and Combat Zone areas.

Like I said before most massage places will only offer extras to regulars. And you have to stick with a manager and a girl for awhile, and sometimes it can be a long while. They want to milk you first.

However, if you are willing to pay up front (5-10 visits) then you got a regular ***** house. Remember to always chat up the manager, stick to one, when you visit ask for that manager.

Tired of going there alone, if anyone wants to have some fun with me at KTVs PM me. However, if you want to do the full package make sure you bring 20K NTD cash with you, hahahaha.

I should be in Taiwan by late Sept. for my KTV adventures.

However, depends how big a bonus my company gives me this time, if it isn't too big I may downgrade to sauna places and massage parlors... :(

Be careful with foreign workers, they are also known to frequently rob and even kill would-be johns for all of their cash, for it is easy for them to go underground after the crime, they just find a home or factory elsewhere to work without any ID, and homes and factory are too willing to hire them because they usually pay illegals at 1/3 of the cost of legals.

After looking through the photo gallery and read the posts that says "perfect face and body..." I have to say some of you guys have really low standards....

I can be as wary and cynical as the next guy, but I doubt your commmet holds true for mongering among OFWs in Taiwan. First, I'm only going with OFWs that I've gotten to know: where they work, personal details. Second, it is pretty far fetched for these girls to screw over their bread & butter, esp. given that law enforcement generally will always side against them here. And illegals almost always make more than legals. Employers save a lot on agent fees, insurance and such, but girls that go illegal generally make out better as well.

But 2200 for a whole body massage for two hours looks promising.
