"If you have one of those effervescent personalities then maybe you and her can enjoy yourselves.
Maybe if you're in a club and the chica knows what you want and your drinking and dancing you can sustain that for an hour or two. ".
Yes this is what I mean. You must have some sort of personality and be charasmatic.
Which clubs or are they discos?
My opinion on how much fun you can have w / out speaking Spanish is not good. If you have one of those effervescent personalities then maybe you and her can enjoy yourselves. But in general when you can't communicate it gets ugly fast, a dead end.
Maybe if you're in a club and the chica knows what you want and your drinking and dancing you can sustain that for an hour or two. If you're going out to dinner or just sitting and talking it won't help your cause. It is no fun when you can't talk a beautiful lady sitting next to you. Fucking is a completely different situation that is a lot easier to work w / someone you don't know and can't talk to.
I don't understand what Mfins is referring to when he says clubs, maybe he will elaborate.
As for the casas I mentioned Fresh Kiss is one of the better ones but it is also a little less personal. Still the chicas know how to make you feel comfortable and take care of business.
In a casa you have an opportunity to communicate w / the chica and for the most part it can be short and sweet, then off to the room.
No uncomfortable long stretches of silence not knowing what to say or do. In Colombia where I go the women don't care about your speaking skills and will also make you feel happy and comfortable.
I'm always thankful for a good effort on helping others but it's not a mutual feeling here is it Mfins?
Clubs, I mean are Kairos, Emporium, Fuego, Blue, etc. Clubs with girls who dance and provide service. They are kind of like discos but with pros.
I think we just like different things. You may enjoy the Kiss Fresh experience, MP's and Casas. I enjoy the clubs.
Someone who only tries out Kiss Fresh, MP's casas is missing the El Salvador Experience. Those places are great in countries like Colombia, and Mexico but, just sticking with those places in El Sal you are missing out on what really makes El Sal great. If you go to the "clubs" and you don't speak spanish The people are so welcoming and friendly to foreigners. Someone will help you.

Possible Hotels
I've come up with a short list of possible hotels for me, all ranging from about $23 to $41 per night. I've located them all in a map and they all seem to be in between Kiss Fresh and Zou Spa.
Hotel Miramonte and Happy House Hotel seem to be walking distance to the big mall and not too far from Kairos since I'm slowly warming up to the idea of spending some evening time at 1-2 clubs in addition to the daytime trips to Kiss Fresh and Zou Spa. Villa Serena Flor Blanca and Hotel Alameda are a bit south towards the direction of Zou Spa. And Villa Serena Escalon a bit west of the Miramonte and close to the Monumento al Divino Salvador del Mundo.
All of these hotels seem to be in the safe areas and I should be able to get food within walking distance even during dinner hours. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Any comments or feedback on the above places would be great!

I had a great time in San Salvador! The best part about the trip, was how great the sex was, the girls know how to fuck! I was 8 for 8, not a bad chica! My favorite spot was Kiss Fresh, they had the best looking girls. I had an awesome time with a hot 20 year old girl. I returned the following day to repeat, but I didn't see her. I ended up having a threesome with two beautiful 21 year olds. Rating the other casas, La Mansion 316 was a distant 2nd, followed by La Oficina, Zou Spa, & El Sol. As far as the clubs go, Lips wasn't anything special. I only saw 4 good looking girls there. I was quite bored and left after 15 minutes. I wasn't too happy that they took my phone upon entering. Unless Lips changes their policies, I'll never go back. I had a great time at Kairos. The chicas weren't my type, but I managed to find a pretty one and took her back to my hotel for a "toda la noche" I paid her $80, but I had to wait for her to get off work at 2:30 am. Overall, I had a great time! I'm glad that I went to San Salvador, now I've found another playground close to home.
Which hotel did you stay at and did you do much walking around town (or take cabs everywhere)?
I stayed at the Courtyard, it cost me about $135 a night. The Hotel is chica friendly. The room wasn't anything special, it's basically your typical business hotel. The area is safe, I walked around the shopping center (La Gran Via) next to the hotel. There's not much else around the hotel. One night I walked around Centro, but I had to take a taxi there. San Salvador isn't a walking city, you're going to frequently use taxis or have to hire a driver.

Anyway, I had mentioned this in a prior post but, as firestorms said it is a taxi city, you can not walk from place to place. As long as you are staying within the city limits (which is what you want to do when going out) a cab ride will never be more than $8 and most often less. Any of the major hotels are fine. Really anything listed on expedia, orbitz etc are fine. They are all located within the $8 and under cab ride area. They are ALL chica friendly except for the Intercontinental which will charge you a $50 guest fee.
The clubs, casas, MP's etc are somewhat spread out but within the city and easy to go from one to the other. You are within 10-15 minutes of all of them no matter where you choose to stay.
Firestorms hotel was located on La Gran Via property which is a big shopping area / plaza / mall. The nicest in the country. There is a Chili's, Benihana, Sushi Ito, and several bars, stores and a Movie Theatre. The bonus of staying at the Marriott Courtyard is you are a few steps away from this area however, again everything is an $8 or less cab ride away.
Where ever you choose to stay (other than the Intercontinental) will be a winner as far as location and ease of access! The only thing for you to decide is your budget and how fancy of a hotel you need. Location is not important. The best in town is the Hilton Princess, or Sheraton Presidente if you want to splurge, everything else falls in the middle with slight differences but you won't go wrong with any of them.

Also, Anyone who is hesitant about going to the Strip Clubs because of the language barrier I have a friend who works at Kairos. He speaks fluent english and spanish. He is a very nice waiter and will be glad to help you out. He will not take advantage of you and will be happy to set you up with the ladies, handle the negotiations or act as a go between. PM me and I will give you his name and contact.

I think I'll stay at a hotel there on my next trip.
I was pressed for time on my trip and the San Salvador traffic made things even worse. I'll give you a quick timeline of how my trip went:
I checked in my hotel after 10 pm. The first casa I hit was El Sol. I banged a girl there and then went to Lips. It sucked, so I headed to Kairos. I hung out with a chica until it closed at 2:30 am. We left together and took a taxi back to my hotel. We fucked for 2 1/2 hours, then slept for a half hour. She wanted to fuck some more, but I needed get a half hour more sleep. I then took a tour of the city and visited the San Salvador Volcano. After that I fucked a girl at Kiss Fresh, then another one at Zou Spa and then another girl at La Mansion 316. Since, I only slept one hour, I was feeling very tired. So I returned to my hotel to take a nap. I wanted to hit some clubs, but I couldn't get up. I was mad at myself for wasting the night, but looking back on it I'm glad that I didn't go out. I needed that rest to climb the Santa Ana Volcano. After returning from Santa Ana, I asked a taxi driver to take me around the city. Since I previously saw the city during the day, I wanted to see what it was like at night. This is when I walked around Centro and stopped at various monuments. I then had a threesome at Kiss Fresh. I the went to Pollo Campero for a late dinner. After I ate, I went to La Oficina and fucked the final girl of my trip. I considered going to a bar or club afterwards, but it was already past midnight and I had to leave for the airport at 5 am. I wish I had more time to hit some clubs and see more of the country as well. I'm not sure when I'll return to San Salvador, but I'll definitely go to more clubs on my next trip.

My night time action will all depend on when I can book that long day tour to Copan which I'm making as my priority as far as tourist stuff goes.

Out of curiousity, did the Kairos girls offer any short time back at your hotel rather than an all nighter? Wonder what rate that would have been.
For your touristy trips, did you just grab any cab driver or book a specific one who does tours?

For your touristy trips, did you just grab any cab driver or book a specific one who does tours?
If you do a girl in house at Kairos then its about $50 for 45 minutes. However only about 10-20% of the girls will do that. Its not common.
The other options are waiting until 230 and making a deal with them to go to your hotel or making a deal before 230 and paying the bar fine and taking the girl out.
You will not save any money by telling the girl that you only want an hour in your hotel, unless you are willing to pay for there taxi to get home at 1 am or whenever and, most of the girls live far. Like two hours away far. Its just not logistically practical.
The reason the girls want to stay with you in your room all night is because the buses do not run after 8 pm. They do not run again until 530 am. If they leave your hotel at 2,3,4 am they have no where to go but sit at the bus terminal or bench. Take advantage of the fact the girls want to stay with you and probably will all morning ifyou want them too. This is not the time to try and save $20 by negotiating an hour rate.
If money is tight then you may have to stick with Kiss Fresh as the rates there are $40 per session and pulling a girl TLN from Kairos will be $80-$100. I highly suggest going in with an open mind and be willing to go with the flow. Spending a few extra dollars and I do mean only a few in EL Sal can make a huge difference.

Its Not a walking city.

For your touristy trips, did you just grab any cab driver or book a specific one who does tours?
I didn't inquire about short time at Kairos. Like Mfins said, it wouldn't have made a difference. I was looking for a girl to spend the night. I offered her $80 and she immediately accepted my offer, but told me to wait until she got off work at 2:30 am, so I wouldn't have to pay the barfine. It cost me an hour, but I enjoyed spending that hour with her at the club. It also gave me time to eat. I had a mesero bring us some tacos and pupusas. I know the tacos were from the stand outside the bar, but I'm not sure where he got the pupusas from. The girl was willing to stay longer, but I had the city & volcano tour booked with a private tour company at 7 am.
I used the same tour company the following day to take me to the Santa Ana Volcano. The police escorted hike didn't start until 11 am, so I had time to eat pupusas at the pupuseria at the base of the volcano. It took 2 hours to get to the top. We were only allowed to stay up there for 30 minutes and then we had to make the 2 hour journey back down. It was a clear day, so the views were amazing! If the weather is good and you have time, I recommend that you see the volcano.
On the subject of speaking Spanish, I spoke Spanish the entire time I was there. If you don't speak Spanish, it will be difficult for you, but don't let that deter you from going to the clubs. Of course speaking Spanish to the girls will enhance your experience, but you'll still have a good time without speaking it. Buy the girl a drink and have fun with her!
