Hi, as a regular visitor of Prague privates, I have to strongly disagree. Sure, my advantage is I'm Czech, but you've done several stupid mistakes.

1. Nightclubs often work as "privates" during days, but they really are not. I've tried this several times, and it never worked - the nice girls work in the evening (why should a nice girl accept less money than in the evening?), and don't expect privacy at all. So Sweet paradise, Neon and Karla are not privates.

2. Not calling Linda was a huge mistake - she's not the prettiest girls in the town, but she's not ugly (well, at least she looks quite nice to me), and she does one of the best blowjobs (BBJ) in the town. I've visited her several times just for a blowjob.

3. Calling in advance does not mean you're going to pay even if you don't like the girl! That's a complete bullshit and if the girl demands money even if you want to leave, she's a complete rip-off *****. I always call in advance, and this never happened to me ...

I am actually quite fluent in Czech and spend much of the year in the CR, so I am not an "occassional English-speakinging visitor" and I am also quite aware that Neon, Sweet Paradise and Klara are not privates. My point was that I was trying to hook up with women from privates and did not succeed, because they were much uglier than expected from their photos, sometimes the women had already stopped working there, they were busy, or they demanded I make an appointment in advance. It was precisely BECAUSE of these problems that I ALSO visited some clubs inbetween privates, so I did not confuse the two, but it might have not been clear in my report.

I DID call Linda when I was in the neighborhood at around 11 am, but she wanted me to immediately make an appoint for 12:45 and I did not know what to do for nearly 2 hours (and by the way, I spoke Czech all the time, so langauge was not an issue). I agree that calling in advance does not mean you MUST pay. However, knowing that somebody put aside half and hour for you or one hour just for you puts much more pressure on you, since you know that they rejected other potential customers for you. In general, women in Prague are often more aggressive in Privates and ask me why I do not like them if I decide against sleeping with them. In clubs there is usually less pressure, but clubs are best at night, where there is a much bigger choice and the women put less pressure on you there as well.

I can promise Carolina that I was not rude at all too any of the women. I did not make any negative remarks at all to them. In fact, I was very polite and simply thanked them for having me over and told them that I was not sure about it and might return later that day. The only time that I was less than a gentleman was at the Neon club, where when I was about to pay I got angry that the woman suddenly wanted a lady's drink, even though we were about to go to the bedroom. I think a ladies' drink is OK if I sit and talk with somebody for a while, but not if we are about to go to the bedroom. One of the reason is these "model type" girls became aware of their beauty and found out that they don´t have to fuck several guys a night to make 5000 kc, it´s enough to find a rich boyfriend/husband and/or a lover who will buy them everything they want! In the early nineties girls were happy to be taken to upper-class restaurants, on weekend to czech mountains... Now they want new gifts (parfumes & cosmetics, fashion clothing & accessories...) each second day, exotic holidays each three months, a new car, an appartment... Don´t missunderstand me, I´m not criticizing what girls are doings. They have the opportunity to do it so...

Some models still want to make money but now they usually don´t want to do it anymore in night clubs for small money but for higher money as escort. They usually don´t want to work for an escort agency but trough contacts (photographers, booking agents, reliable customers, classifieds...). This way they keep discretion about their extra job, they can choose their clients and they can ask 10 000 or 20 000 kc for a night.


Ziraell is right when saying it also depends on the customer, his behaviour... In fact it´s about mutual sympathy and chemistry between two people. It doesn´t work at all between one customer and a girl but it´s working well between another customer and the same girl... Of course acting politely, nicely, friendly, gently, showing respect... helps a lot.

But also I agree when I hear people complaning about the services. It´s an overall problem in Czech Republic (and other post-communist countries). Till today many people don´t know what "customer service" means. Some people really think they deserve their salary just by beeing present at work... without working! Privates are hit or miss but you can have some good surprise: not top models but a young, nice and friendly girl (7+), flexible services even if you´re a first time customer (in night clubs girls may also be flexible but usually with repeaters).

I think it´s a good idea to call the private you wish to visit especially if you already know one or more of the flat girls: first you can check if you´re favorite girl is working, second you can make an appointement: many privates are quite busy and you may wait quite a long time if you´re third in the row :)

Like Letni and others, I also had problem with pre-booking in privates, the girl accommodating another customer on the agreed time... It´s really very unpleasant. But it only happened to me with privates I visited for the first time. With girls I already visited previously I never had problems: the girl was always waiting for me when showing up at the flat´s door.

Like Peno said you´re always free to leave if the available girl(s) don´t fit your tastes. Just politely decline the offer. Of course the girl will not jump for joy but she´ll understand.


We all have some favorite girls and like Ziraell mentionned, to visit a few favorites instead of dozens of different girls is probably a good advise. Well, night clubs are "sex clubs", not bars where you can sit back, relax, have a drink, listen to the music, watch the girls dancing or chat with girls... Night clubs like Extasy, Black Dolly, Boomerang, Caribic, Club 161, Karla, Mamba, Tango and many others are open to sell sex services and girls are there to make money...
