It's not about only money any more. All Good looking free lancers girls are becoming choosey. They don't go out with anyone who is ready to pay. I visited BKK in 1st week of JAN and was surprised with this development. Two guys were rejected in front of my cause girl didn't like Them and once I was rejected cause that girls like Asian only (Korean & Japanese)

Day 1 (Friday Night)

Went to Q bar around 11 in night, being weekend it was crowded. Went to the bar to buy a drink there this beautiful girl was standing with a glass of wine in her hand. I just passed the smiled and she smiled back, I went to her and said hello and normal conversation started.

I again asked what is wrong with that guy is he not rich? She said no he is rich ready to pay 4000 bhat but my friend simply don't like him, we go to club only on weekend so even we want to enjoy and what to go out with guys whom we like and blab la bla.

I don't want my night to be spoiled due to her friend so I just went to that guy and told him hay that girl over there in interested in you. He was bit surprised and started blushing. That guy was from Latin America.

Finally I introduce them to each other and left to Levels with my girl. Danced till 3 in morning had a good time in levels and then back to my hotel with my girl and she stayed with me till 3 in afternoon. I paid her 4000 Bhat and she was worth it.

Next day (Sat night) I went to mixx Disco there I liked this girls. Bought few drinks for her and her friend. Her friend came to me and asked me ' I like her friend' I said yes. She replied she is sorry but her friend won't go out with you cause she like Asian more (Japanese and Koreans)

I just said thanks to her and start looking for my next target.

all i have to go on is my anecdotal experiences. going through us customs for me has been a breeze for the last 15 years. i present myself as a polite, well dressed, but tired citizen returning to my country after a 5 week asian excursion and a long grueling flight. i am asked where i have been and with a tired smile i say thailand, philippines, and macau (my usual haunts). that usually does it. once in a while i am asked if i am carrying any food products or if i have been on a farm during my trip. i casually respond with a no. once or twice i was asked what my occupation is. i tell them real estate investment. then they always say, welcome back and i say it is good to be home. that's it.

but things were not always this easy for me. my rough times with us customs were in my early years of travel back in the late '70s and early '80s. i don't know if it was because i was a long hair or because i was traveling to and from latin america all the time and fit their profile or customs was more rigorous back then, but in any case my suitcase was always searched. i hated the treatment i used to get returning to my own country. land of the free – yeah, right!

one time, returning from costa rica a bitcchh agent confirep001ed my nikon slr and zoom telephoto lens. i was nice and polite until she started to fill out the form. then i let her have it with everything i could think of like, 'i can buy and sell your whole family, you moron. how dare you confirep001e my camera! etc. etc. ' my tirade continued unabated for 4 or 5 minutes. the women was made of stone did not respond. she just continued to fill out her form. the people in line behind me were getting restless and i had to move on. this happened at mia. i had a 2 hour layover so i was wandering around the airport camera less and pissed off. i ran into a very attractive and young american airlines representative who asked me if there was anything i needed. i told her my story and she was very sympathetic and took down to the customs offices. i met the acting director of mia customs. the pretty american airlines representative did most of the talking. the camera was lying on his desk. he inspected it and saw it was not new and gave it back to me. that was it. he defended the idiot inspector, but acknowledged that in this case she had gone too far. to recap; i was very polite to the female agent until her pen went to paper and she started to confirep001e my camera. then i went ballistic on her like i have never done before or since.

another time and this is entirely my fault, i was returning from cartagena. i was a young long hair who clearly liked to indulge in women and illegal substances. i should have been more circumspect in packing my suitcase knowing in advance that customs was going to inspect the contents. but i was stupid and sloppy and had left several packs of rolling papers on top of my dirty laundry. the customs agent immediately spotted it and i was escorted to a private room for a thorough inspection and pat down although i was not strip searched. there was no contraband to be found and i was let go. the experience shook me up some and taught me an important lesson.

today, i don't fit the profile and i know how to present myself so i don't get hassled. knock on wood. but it is true that they have you at their mercy and can do anything they want – search wise. my favorite customs is the netherlands, but i see dutch customs flag certain individuals from time to time. so i don't think this is just an us customs issue. customs officials worldwide are woven from the same cloth and can detain / inspect anybody they want at any time. so present yourself well and be polite at all times. there should not be a problem.

The good looking ones know they will get a customer sooner or later, and they can wait till it is the right who they want to have fun with, or are even prepared to go without altogether sometimes.

Probably my first experience with free lancers was in the Thermae 20 years ago (old location of Thermae). Two girls there were very pretty and together. They worked in some clothing shop in Silom but were trying to get extra money together so they could afford to take a few days off returning to Phitsanulok. Numerous guys would approach them with arrogant attitudes and get rejected. I liked them too. Both of them were very pretty, but I was having a hard time to choose which one. There have always been choosey girls, as Syn has pointed out, but there are far more of them now.
