Rice. Powell and Rubio are your Repub standards? LOL. Really?
Probably when a majority of black people stop voting for the dems and start voting for the Republicans. Don't you understand that the politicians normally represent their voters?
BTW, when will the democrats appoint a Latino as Secretary of State? It's only in the Republican Party a Latino can rise to become secretary of state in USA. Powell was the first Afro American to become Secretary of State in the US, Condoleezza Rice was the second. Both Republicans, and this was before Obama and Kamala.
So Condoleeza "I didn't notice and did nothing about that August 2001 PDB about Osama bin Laden determined to attack in the USA, likely by aircraft" Rice, Colin "Tons of WMD hidden in Iraq!" Powell and Little Marco "War in Iran? What War in Iran?" Rubio are your high water mark standards for what turned out to he strictly Repub DEI appointments despite their utter crap contributions to their office?
Lolol. Perfect.
What's next, praise to Trump for appointing the first Indian as head of the FBI? LOLOL.
The fight against misinformation posted by Democratic International Tricks continues!
Jimmy Carter's presidency (19771981) was defined by the 19801982 recession, the deepest and longest-lasting USA Economic downturn since the Great Depression, which began during his term and extended into the early Reagan years.
Inconsistencies from a Registered Democrat
I am not all that interested in what stance political Parties take on Social issues. That's for suckers.
So why are you focused on racial issues while completely ignoring economic ones?
Interest Rates are as high as they were before the 2007 Global Financial Crisis
Conditions are not the same with problems of bank solvency. But the Dis United States of America has a dramatically higher Debt to GDP ratio.
Price of Oil
One of the main reasons is when Trump won the presidency he encouraged oil drilling and USA now is producing 13,500,000 barrels per day. Also reduced regulations for the oil companies now make it possible to make good money at $72 a barrel. Chevron said profits are good enough at $72 a barrel to drill, do exploration and to make capital improvements worldwide. I expect a glut of oil in next year and see prices in the $60-$65 range.

Yes, oil jumped higher after the Mullas were taken out in February and the IRCG began to block oil tankers from shipping in the straits. I mentioned the price of crude in my last post because it acts as a barometer for what is going on in this war and who is wining. Will crude go back up into the 80's in the short run? I don't know. Maybe. But it ain't going up to $150 a barrel and staying there and it ain't going to do any permanent damage the US Economy. I will bet on that because
The above posts did not age well.
Brent Spot: 103.37 WTI Spot: 99.53.
A rough rule of thumb from the Fed: every $10/ barrel increase raises headline inflation by 0. 2 percentage points. A permanent 10% rise in oil adds roughly 0. 4% to headline CPI over a year.
Crude oil is a key input for transportation, manufacturing, petrochemicals, and shipping. Higher costs get passed through to goods prices. The correlation between oil and the PPI is 0. 71, far stronger than the 0. 27 correlation with the CPI, meaning oil hits producer prices much more directly than consumer prices.
Might the current undeclared military action against Iran have something to do with increased Oil prices? What are democrats doing to stop this other than talk? Are they smart enough to capitalize on the economic pain me and my fellow citizens of the Dis United States are feeling for the midterms.
Key levels to watch are 105,110, 115 (max pain) before possible reversal.
Crypto Regulation in the Dis United States of America
Not a single Democratic Supporter posted here has addressed the Democratic Party opposition to crypto in the Dis United States of America. Why is that? What is the reasoning behind the opposition?

Rewarding an important Trump / Repub MAGA voter demographic
Since it's USG
What do you guys think about FBI defending beastiality? I thought it would have made sense during Democrat regime but MAGA regime truly leaped ahead of them.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/sep/15/kash-patel-fbi-hiring-policy-bestiality
Repub MAGAs rail against DEI hires while the only atrocious outcomes from diverse profile hires have been theirs.
Now they have finally broken that stubborn glass ceiling that made it so difficult for their bestiality proponents to produce atrocious results for the country.

Finally looking at economic issues here
One of ISG's most observant and skilled reading and comprehension members kindly pointed out that I "completely ignore" economic issues.
So I decided to look into it for a change and I'll be damned if I didn't discover the remarkable fact that Republicans have produced and presided over every Great Depression, Great Recession, stock market crash, housing value crash, financial crash and massive historic jobs destruction of the past 100 years and none of the great economic recoveries, great economic expansions and historic jobs gains while Democrats have produced and presided over every great economic recovery, great economic expansion and historic jobs gains and none of the Great Depressions, Great Recessions, stock market crashes, housing value crashes, financial crashes and massive historic jobs destruction of the past 100 years.
I don't think I've ever noticed that.
In addition to which it turns out this current and two previous Repub presidents produced and presided over some of the worst jobs creation and economic results in USA history while the previous three Democratic presidents produced and presided over some of the very best. With a special nod to the fourth previous Democratic president ranking right up there with the best of them as well.
I was amazed to discover such a thing. So I thought I would mention it in one of my rare if not first and only, according to that ISG member, economic issue posts.
Oh, and there is also this:
Its awful: How tariffs, soaring fuel and higher rates are squeezing businesses
https://www.cnbc.com/2026/09/20/tariffs-fuel-prices-and-interest-rates-squeeze-us-companies.html?__source=androidappshare
Tariffs are raising the cost of materials and goods, higher fuel prices are increasing production and transportation costs, and higher interest rates are making inventory more expensive to finance.
Auto suppliers, chemical companies, and other industrial businesses are seeing margins squeezed as they struggle to absorb higher costs.
Companies that can pass higher costs to customers are better positioned, while businesses facing price-sensitive consumers risk losing demand if they raise prices too much.
I'll try to submit more of these economy-related posts in the future.
Our Registered Democrat International trick from Bangkok Thailand is right about this
Yes, every USA Republican president over the last 100 years has had a recession occur during their tenure, though the specific causes and the party in power when the downturn began vary. However, 10 of the 11 recessions since 1953 began under Republican administrations, with the notable exception being the 1980 recession, which started under Democrat Jimmy Carter.
Irrelevant to the discussion. Sample size is statistically insignificant.
Correlation does not prove causation
Why? Because a statistical association between two variables merely indicates they change together, not that one directly causes the other.

Democratic supports continue to be silent about why they don't support crypto
Democrats oppose crypto because it can make you financially independent. Since Democrats are the party of big government, the last thing the want is for me and my fellow citizens to become financially independent. No, Democrats want you to continue to sucking on the government teat so you will be consistently dependent upon the government.
Question: What Democrat in the Senate has a 12 million USD net worth but opposes crypto for my fellow citizens in the the Dis United States of America?
