Intercontinental is good and one of the hotels mentioned in other forums as "girl friendly" hotel. I stayed at Radisson Blu in Calle Victoria but, their lifts operate on the room access card which was a pain. I have been there a few times with a further trip in October and have been to the Intercontinental for a drink and to check out the claims made in this forum that WGs could be picked from the bar or just outside the entrance. Nope.
I do not know whether the intercontinental has a similar system. These do not need room access card for the lift:
Novotel. Calle Victoria.
NH Bucharest.
